Sorry about the profanity. Its gone. Usually I have more self control

Pretty sure we'd all be on board. This is beyond crazy and Meghan looks to be getting worse next week.

Edited b/c I was pretty fired up last night.

So wait, now Vicki's telling us that Brooks is really taking a break from chemo and "blasting" his bod with Reservatrol to help build his strength up for it?

Meghan is shopping for prom dresses with Hayly. Shut up, Meghan! Didn't we see her prom night earlier? Shut up, Meghan! Way to get her hopes up about what you did for your school prom.

Tamra pretends to make up to Vicki. I sure wish she'd get called out on her crap at the reunion show, for once.

Shannon made muffins and chili with potatoes? Is the world we live in?  Shannon telling David about what happened makes me wonder if Vicki isn't lieing about not asking her for a list of doctors. Maybe she asked for help but nothing specific.

Tamra and Meghan chat while riding the exercise bikes at an empty CUT Studio. Naturally, Tamra repeats everything Vicki told her. I wish someone would bust her at the reunion about this. Meghan smugly predicts a "miraculous" cure for Brooks because she is on the case. Shut up, Meghan!

Heather and Terry discuss their new cosmetic line business and do some name-dropping. Heather asks for his opinion on her family tree etching, then gets pissed when he criticizes it. I found it odd that she claimed in her monologue that this is the only things she cares about in their new mansion. Talk about "first-world problems"!

I laughed at Vicki and Brooks "earthing" in the yard with that quack.

Ryan and his brood show up at the rental his mommy got him in a big-ass SUV. What the hell is he doing with that? As they inspect the house that Tamra had repainted, Ryan grouses and complains about it, visibly pissing off Eddie. What a total ingrate! Ryan then whines about the ten hour drive back home and how he forgot to eat breakfast. Wow, Ryan's possible future bride looks a lot like Tamra!

Heather meets Lisa for some business advice, but I think she misunderstood what Lisa told her, judging by what she said in her monologue.

Shannon has lunch with Vicki and once again, the subject of Brooks comes up. Naturally, Vicky brings up how rough it is since her mother died and basically washes her hands of the whole subject and tells Shannon to ask Brooks about his cancer.

I agree that Brooks doesn't have to prove anything to anyone.  I also agree that it's beyond awful that anyone would ask them to do so.  However, Vicki has been a HW for 10 seasons.  She knows how Bravo works and what they're capable of doing.   She never should have agreed to go with this story line and she never should have convinced Brooks to go along with it.  IMHO they're all awful but I find Vicki to be the MOST despicable.  She agreed to do this to keep her orange and that's just disgusting.

JFTR, I too think that Vicki and Brooks are despicable, but this is not just about them

Found this quote from Vicki- from when her mom died:

Gunvalson thought that it would be her longtime boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, who would lose his battle with cancer this year. "I thought I'd lose Brooks. I thought he was going to be the one who died this season," Gunvalson candidly told Cohen.

(From: http://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/vicki-gunvalson-doesnt-regret-cameras-filming-reaction-to-moms-death-201577)

Are you fucking kidding me?? This quote proves to me that Vickie came up with the bullshit cancer story in order to get some sympathy and respect for "her man." She thought this would be fool-proof. She did not think that anyone would catch on. Who says something like that, speaking about life in seasons?

Vicki is just a lying liar who lies.  The article quotes her as saying she never watched the bunco party episode when she got the news about her mother but a while back she told Andy on WWHL that she did watch.

Yep I'm over it. I've had cancer. Freaking eyeball cancer. Yeah the official name is non Hodgkins lymphoma. In my eye. Random, rare, and a pain in the ass. The actual eyeball is the least of but when they need to see if it's anywhere else. CT scans, PET scans, bone marrow biopsies, blood work out the ass, AIDS test, hepatitis tests etc. No fun whatsoever. And I'm pissed for brooks because although I'm not sure what's up there, I just am not on the doubt train yet. Cancer blows and yeah people have to have their input. And it seems if you don't do what they say you're an idiot. Which is totally awesome on top of the raw fear you already have.

So very sorry to hear about your NHL mjstrick and how this show is causing you or anyone stress. Shame on Bravo for putting most of the attention this season on this painful subject. Brooks hopefully does not have cancer because if he has cancer Bravo is discusting beyond belief along with cast and staff who participated in this.

Meghan is not right in the head. I think she's right about Brooks but she's so far out of line that I can't support her at all. The only thing I could say in her defense is that it is dangerous for people ro pretend they have cancer and then talk about miracle cure (that in reality won't do anything for someone who's really sick) because it might convince people who are sick to try the same cure. Does anyone remember that woman a while back who claimed she was treating her brain cancer with natural foods? Her stroy fell apart when she told people the doctor who diagnosed her was named Dr Phil and he had diagnosed her using magnets. She never had cancer at all but she had faked her way into a book deal and a popular website and lucrative fundraisers and even a healthy eating app. It's scary to think how many people were following her advice. So yes, I see what Meghan was saying there. But I don't think that's her real motivation. I think she's just desperate and thirsty and not all the way stable.

Terry bugs but he was right about that tree. I kind of like Heather but I don't know what she wanted him to say that dopey little doodle.

There was a murder case recently that involved a woman who claimed to have cancer, among other things. I can't remember the details. Yes, it does happen.

Everyone is so over this entire season with nothing more 'fake cancer' over and over, it's disgusting and there's no other story here. After the lashbacks start coming back to Bravo about this seasons only topic which is that Brooks is faking cancer, no he's not, yes he is, etc., A patients right to privacy is a FEDERAL LAW and nobody, absolutely NO BODY can obtain medical records just handed to them voluntarily by any medical person connected to that patients care. I think that Bravo should emphatically tell the bitchy witches to zip it, cut it out, and no mas! When all is said and done, I would want to see every one of them sit down at a fancy table at Heather's newest castle and eat shit, I mean really eat shit not only metaphorically. They're terrible, awful people. They should ALL have one person close to them, a beloved family or closest friend that has to go through cancer treatments and THEN they would know that they are genuinely horrible human beings.

They all make me sick.

Yep, they all need a piece of "The Help" chocolate pie.

So if Vicki and Shannon aren't speaking could it have to do with Vicki's treatment of Shannon?  Something big is up with this crowd-Heather is complaining about getting dragged in, Shannon and Meghan are not speaking to Vicki so that pretty much leaves Tamra.

I will say this about Shannon after a year of having her husband run her around with half truths I can see where she would be bothered by more of the same.  I don't think Brooks has to share his medical records but he should have the decency to tell someone what he did with their referral.  They were specialist not a vitamin or supplement.  Acknowledge the referral.

I loved the disparity between the restaurants.  Heather and Lisa are dining at an ultra-exclusive restaurant while Shannon and Vicki are slumming it at a place that looks to be one notch above Panera Bread.  I cannot feel sorry for Heather because the new house is her choice.  Nobody's forcing her to do it.  Terry would probably be happy living in a tent as long as dinner was served up on the regular.

So over Brooks and his alleged cancer.  Yawn.

Ryan had no idea of the responsibility he was taking on with his new baby mama. It's kind of fun to see him smacked up the side of the head with reality.  Yet another person who is complaining about his choices.

That's especially true because the doctor Shannon referred him to is supposed to be a "world renowned" NHL specialist.  If it was just another doctor, I could understand why Brooks didn't want to go but if you're in a fight for your life and you're presented with an opportunity to see a doctor with that kind of expertise, you'd be a fool not to go.

And you know, I already said that if vicki showed proof, it wouldn't be enough. The preview shows Meghan saying once again, that she called to ask about pet scans.. Well guess what, If you call my infectious disease doctor to ask if they do PET scans, they will say no. That's because they gove you an order to get a PET scan and you go somewhere else. Meghan is crazy

Thank you for pointing this out. A P.E.T. scan would be performed at a radiologists office. She isn't making any sense and I'm sooo sick of the Real Housewives of Cancer! I can't stop watching but when the dust settles after the reunion I'll breathe a sigh of relief...and maybe drink a couple of Bloody Mary's to wipe it from my memory! !

Wouldn't shock me if Meghan somehow skewed the results. I wouldn't put it past her to vote like a maniac.  She has to be right.  That's what this is about.  It's not about Brooks, or caring about Vicki (because she definitely doesn't) -- at this point, she is so invested that she will see it through to the end.  She has to prove or at least convince everyone else that he is lying.

Can we go back to the boring Shannon marriage drama now?

I almost rather prefer one entire episode about Terry and Heathers leach-bleeding stomachs and the sanitary napkin brand that Terry taped on his. I'd prefer one hour of watching David's 'night of the living dead' face staring at the camera or a close up of Jim Edmunds 'Easter island' big head. ANYTHING besides Brooks and his cancer/not cancer! If Bob Hope and Stan Laurel had a child, it would look just like Terry.

You know what I'd do if I was going to fake cancer, aside from calling the doctors of other people allegedly faking cancer?

I would use whatever resources at my disposal to look like a gaunt, aged, husk. I would act feeble, yet brave; humble, yet quietly proud. I'd become an expert on the shittiest chemo treatments available for the cancer I was pretending to have and fake every single side effect. Then, I would disappear for a couple of months to attend an experimental treatment facility in Europe and miraculously find myself in remission. No one can hate me now -- I fucking beat cancer. Long con complete.

I would NOT go on TV like hey I've got cancer but don't worry I'm shooting coffee beans up my ass. Brooks is a better grifter than than that.

I think Vicki did. He doesn't own her an explanation if he didn't ask  for help. If he did then, yes, cuz, manners.

The first thing I'd do if I was planning to fake cancer is to buy a ticket to Tristan da Cunha. Oh, you don't know where that is?  Exactly the point. I wouldn't have a friend in the world and most of my old ones would want to choke me to death. So, Tristan da Cunha it is!

When my SIL was battling cancer she was so confident in her doctors, despite suggestions she go to Stanford to see another doctor.  She was very vocal on how important it was to be with somebody she had confidence in.   I learned from her, that during this time, all kinds of well meaning people come to you with alternate options - and bottom line you have to chose the one you are comfortable with.    Another thing goes back to Brianna saying if you have cancer, and are undergoing chemo you can't travel.  My SIL did travel every chance she got.   In fact, she would try to plan her treatments just before going somewhere.   Yes, she had to vigilant about infections, but she wasn't willing to stop her life and live in a bubble.   Meghan has crossed the line.  When she went for the BRACA tests and acted the expert, it pissed me off.   My daughter, about Meghan's age, has lots of cancer on both sides of the family, and she went through extensive counseling before and after the BRACA testing.  Meghan acts like it's no big deal, and it is.

So this isn't a point about cancer, but just a general comment. If you have a friend that wants your support on something they are going through in her life, and you give it to her, then later feel like you are being manipulated what do you do? I personally think that people who abuse your friendship are not worth shit and to RUN away. I would not be friends with someone that  lied to me, or someone I wondered if was lying.

If VIcki wants to make up bullshit stories for sympathy and attention or to allow her friends to prove they love her, and she expects her friends to accept her lies and  not question her ever, then she really lost her calling as a Nazi. She is telling people all these different things, and then when they try to understand what is going on, she losers her shit and does some major emotional bullying to get them back in line. I swear all the fighting on this show leads back to Tamra. She has a conversation with Shannon and Vicki about Heather and Meghan turns around and tells Meghan and Heather what Shannon said. She calls a psychic and asks him about Brooks and that gets Meghan going and from what we see she won't let anything go. Now, she's going to Vicki to tell her what everyone else is saying. It's amazing that she always conveniently leaves out the shit she says during these conversations, and how does she never get called out on this shit?

^^^ Ha! This was my first thought, too! I don't think Meghan is so pure in her "research" that she's not willing to skew survey results in her favor. (I suddenly have this image of her sending off an an IRB consent form to Brooks' ex. But I digress.)

"All you have to do is pull those records, show us, and no big deal, it's all good, we'll stop questioning!" Why do I not believe that? And who has the stones to say something like that? Who do they think they are, Maury Povich? (Brooks... you... DO NOT HAVE CANCER!")

Because seriously? Two-thirds of the voters believe that Brooks should give up his right to his medical records' privacy in order to "convince" THEM (or at least the other housewives)? I can't believe that sane people would agree to that. All you have to do is think: "Would I want some random work colleague to ask ME to do that?" And you just about have your answer.

The traveling limitations for cancer patients are normally recommended when chemo treatments have destroyed the immune system to an extent where being around people with colds leaves the patient vulnerable to opportunistic infections that are now very serious. It was not the act of traveling so much as being exposed to germs.

If one can fly privately I imagine it would be a lot easier.

I love this whole post. Vicki is the most manipulative person on the planet. "If you're my friend, you'll do such-and-such." And Tamra is so spineless, she says ok. She has absolutely no principles. I admire Shannon for sticking up for herself after Vicki lied about her, and for not allowing Vicki to manipulate her as she asked questions to figure this out. Vicki trying to shut down every conversation about Brooks is also a sign of a liar. It's so obvious to me it's not even funny. She and her grifter bf concocted this whole story for sympathy and storyline purposes, but it's blowing up in her face, so she's trying to shut it down. From Brianna to Meghan to Tamra to Heather to Shannon, her m.o. has been the same - orders to stop the cameras, to walk out, to emotionally blackmail, to say "I don't want to hear anything negative," etc. Since when does Vicki ever walk away from a confrontation? Only now - when her con is getting exposed.

Or you say "thanks for what you did Shannon. Vicki jumped the gun because she's worried. I'm happy with my treatment team, but I might revisit your referrals in 6 months, a year, or whatever." Instead Brooks did the flakiest thing you could do which was be effusive about the referrals, then blow them off with the lamest excuses, and make no effort to reschedule. Of course, that's going to everyone a little curious. Instead of a reasonable explanation, Brooks offered everyone a big old ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

IF Vicki did ask Shannon for help and Shannon tried to help Brooks find a doctor to treat him, I can see her feeling frustrated.  Brooks probably should have just told her that he appreciated her for being concerned and for taking the time to get him in touch with some very reputable doctors, but that he has found some doctors that he feels are the best for him and left it at that.  Also, if Shannon felt like she was being supportive of Brooks, and it turns out Brooks is lying, I can see her being hurt because she was lied to by someone she considered a friend and just too soon after she was betrayed by David.  HOWEVER, that still does NOT give her the right to want to see his medical records.  I AM SO SICK OF THESE WOMEN ASKING FOR MEDICAL PROOF FOR WHICH THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS ASKING.

I'm kinda of torn about my thoughts on that awful lunch with Vicki and Shannon.  On one hand, Vicki was calm enough with Heather and Tamra when they tried to talk to her about the questions surrrounding Brooks, but she didn't give Shannon much of a chance to talk about it before shutting her down and maybe that was why Shannon kept going on and on--because she didn't feel like Vicki would listen to what she was feeling about the situation, and because Vicki was making it all about Vicki once more.  But, on the other hand, maybe Vicki was just so tired of hearing the same thing over again for the third time, and then Shannon wouldn't drop it even when Vicki had already told her she was having a terrible day and Vicki asked her to stop talking about it.  Maybe that particular lunch wasn't the best time for Shannon to bring up Brooks' cancer situation.  Shannon has terrible timing again.

This cancer storyline needs to end.

And note to Shannon:  No, you are not a good judge of character.  What pill did you take to give you amnesia about what Tamra and Heather did to you last season and what Tamra tried to start in Moorea, and what Meghan did to you earlier this season?  And you and Vicki have been so close, but now you're not talking to each other and you think that if Brooks is lying, Vicki must know about it?  No, you are not a good judge of character.

Shannon is rightly upset that Vicki claimed that she didn't want Shannon's help if she did, in fact, ask her.  Shannon also is rightly upset that Brooks did make an appointment with one of the doctors she recommended and then cancelled with the excuse of two flat tires.  If Vicki convinced Brooks to put the cancer on the show, she can't just say it's nobody's business.  Sorry Vicks, if you didn't want anyone to question or talk about it, then you and Brooks should have kept quiet.  Period.  Don't make it a storyline.  According to you, you had a choice.

Terry was right with Heather, if you want my opinion, then deal with it.  Otherwise just go ahead and do it.  Lisa was right that men just don't understand women and sometimes you just have to tell them what you need.  A lot of times, it just doesn't occur to them on their own.

  • Love 15

Vicki actually convinced Brooks to use his cancer as a storyline for the show so people could see a couple dealing with it? I have barely seen anything about Vicki and Brooks dealing with cancer besides coffee enemas and smoothies. Of course that could be editing, but who knows. Sometimes I wonder if Brooks and Vicki are purposely acting shady with the other women just to make them look horrible for questioning it at all. I watched Bill and Jen on The Little Couple deal with her cancer, but I have seen very little of Vicki and Brooks actually dealing with his cancer, besides everyone talking about whether or not he actually has it. So if Vicki thought this was going to be a great story for her this season she was wrong.

I am not a Shannon fan at all, but I loved that she stood her ground with Vicki and did not give in. Vicki trying to manipulate Shannon by saying she was having a bad day and such. I am surprised Vicki did not add that her mother died to the list of things as to why Shannon should quit talking about it.

We don't know he didn't thank them, do we? I mean we know he didn't explain why  he didn't go, but that doesn't mean, he didn't say thanks. And I don't think Brooks even asked Shannon for help. I think Vicki did. He doesn't own her an explanation if he didn't ask  for help. If he did then, yes, cuz, manners.

I don't know if he thanked her.  At some point Vicki or Brooks, if they value Shannon's friendship need to sit down and ask her to back down or explain that the referral, although appreciated were not utilized. It is not as if insurance pays for every whim a patient has or his girlfriend's friends.  Shannon is making it way too personal.

It is very RAMONA-esque how Tamra leaves herself out of the equation and says dumbshit things such as-I am Brooks biggest supporter.  Well no you aren't the guy can't stand to be around you.

I think Tamra wants to be center stage at the Reunion.
