If he was as chill as he proclaims to be he wouldn't tag Olicity all the time and make pointed comments towards the fans, nor bring them up in an interview and have his wife fight his battles with him and participate in his bitterness. It would be different if he was going around liking posts about his character killing other characters, but he's not. He's singling out Felicity/Olicity and her/the ship's fans. Tweet something negative at him? Must be an Olicity fan. Can't just not like his character because the writing has been awful since his introduction. If he was really just tweeting like his character, he should be liking/tweeting against BS now too since she's supposedly after him this season for what he did to NOT HER FATHER. You don't say that on social media. You don't say "oh, the actors of a show don't like a large portion of the fanbase." Especially when it's a group of fans who have been vocal supporters of the show (including when other fans were calling for the show to be cancelled, which, if it had happened, guess what, KA wouldn't have a job right now) and who have donated to multiple charities for the actors. 3 Link to comment

Featherhat October 16, 2018 Share October 16, 2018 (edited) It's possible that some of the actors do get fed up of the Olicity fandom if it has nothing to do with their characters but they know it's a large portion of the fan base and media buzz/coverage. When you're trying to be BC damn it! Or like when RG kept getting annoyed that he was being asked abut Rene being an asshat to Felicity instead of how awesome WD was and he's Oliver's mini me etc. He clearly didn't want to be identified with the tech support who wasn't in on the action. But I doubt any of them are worried about the stuff that happens online or their safety. And why does he seem to think that’s he's the star of the show? Does he seriously seem that bitter about some fans liking other characters other than his? Dude has a massive ego, and the show is just feeding it. And if the cast really does find the Olicity fandom tiring, they never show it, as they shouldn't. Not only is it bad for business to alienate your own fans, but its just disrespectful and mean spirited to people who love your product. It never ends well when actors diss ships, looks what happens with Supergirl and the Kara/Lena debacle last year. And that was WAY less offensive than what KA and his wife are saying! I can actually see why actors from some shows would get kind of annoyed with fans who just want to talk about their favorite ship, but most of them are smart and classy enough not to say it out loud. 20 Link to comment

Tweeting from his personal account as his character? That’s not normal behavior, dude. No one does that, especially not actors playing the villain. In most cases, the worse the bad guy is on screen, the more the actor tries to show how different and nice they are in real life.
