Thanks for the responses. Should have guessed that some of it was politics related.

Regarding the blind item though, wasn't Enty the one who claimed that Katie Cassidy had been cast as the lead in some new show or something like that?

Was that the one about some new show that was a spin-off of an NBC show Believe or something? That in itself was hard to believe because I think I remember the show was cancelled after a handful of episodes and then "news" popped up about a spin-off and KC being the lead?

He did a FB video where he mentioned parenting rage over a kid being sick at school and others not being informed. Mavi had a cough for about 6 weeks. Turns out to be whooping cough. After all the talk about a sick child the wife posts pictures and a video of karaoke and drinking. Next pictures are posted about football and plenty of drinks were on the table. Mavi is with the nanny at the zoo. SA has always tried to control the narrative as a loving dad who doesn't get to spend much time with his child because she lives away from him. She's sick and with the nanny. He & his wife are partying. People put him on a pedestal. Some have now quit looking through rose colored glasses. Btw, he is not posting the pics and videos. His wife and her friends are. It contradicts his Facebook image. So he went from politics to all this.

He had one item that was a mash of stuff about LOT. It didn't make any sense.

I don't think the Believe spinoff was him.

I did a google search, and I think this is it. I thought he had "revealed" that it was KC, but I guess I misremembered that.

Entry did have a blind from between S2 & S3 that said KC was trying to get EBR killed off and Oliver a new love interest. 2 seasons too soon? Just kidding but I can't say it didn't cross my mind earlier this season.

I really don't think their interaction has anything to do with the blind probably because they don't even know the blind exisits I mean I wouldn't even know who Enty is if it weren't for the Arrow/Olicity fandom.

I think they know who Enty is. Carina who is close friends with both SA and EBR follows (and I believe interacts with) him on Twitter. Whether that means SA and EBR know, who knows- but there's a chance that they do.

Well I'm still not sure that they would care enough to post 'damage control tweets' to each other for something that really hasn't damaged them in any material financial or professional way or their reputation.

Also if I was having an affair that I both wanted to hide from my spouse and also wanted to get out of because it's ~on the rocks~ the last thing I would do is make cute public tweets to said mistress.

Didn't Emily and Stephen interact on twitter way before there was a thing called Enty..I don't see them all of a sudden deciding to do something because of a blind that to me doesn't even make sense in the first place. They tweeted it each other constantly last year, it's just that it's been down this year and to be frank it's been down for the entire cast. None of them barely interact which to me sucks.

Yeah, the social media output from the cast is way down this year. Even from EK, who used to be so active.

I'm guessing today's tweets were more about promoting the show's return since there's zero buzz. But if their PR people have any clue about their jobs, they'd be fully aware of the blinds. Their names are all over the comments; a Google alert would pick it up.

I am not saying they aren't aware of it, I am just saying it's hard to pin point if this actually happened because of that blind. I want to go back to when our favs interacted and we didn't assume something was behind it. Guess I'm being too naive.

And yeah it's really disappointing that even Echo is quiet this year. Don't they know one tweet, video or picture can send the fandom in to a tailspin.

I find this idea of demage control PR kinda silly. Fandom thinking actors are boinking is not news. No media on the planet is gonna pick up on this. Doing demage control here is kinda like being Hamilton on Congratulations.

All of the current actor PR comes from the gym. That tells me the studio made a sweet deal with the gym to keep giving them monies to train Arrow actors in exchange for a whole lot of Instagram posts.

Exactly. No one cares about this shit, especially if it's coming from CDAN. Now if TMZ said something that might garner a response. However the idea that EBR/SA are doing damage control for a Blind Item that I don't think was revealed is kind of funny.

As for the vids, as of last year (I think) all DC shows go to this same gym. No doubt CW or WB made a deal with that guy, which includes SM promotion

People participating in the marches is all I really saw across my social media on Sat. The other social media dramas & facebook posts I missed, thankfully. The March was about standing up for human rights, equality & dignity. That's why I was proud to be at one & why I was proud to see people from the Flarrowverse participating in the marches.

I totally get that SA would have a wishy-washy stance. He's Canadian. And from my interpretation of his other political posts, I think politics in his family might be very complex & complicated like so many are right now. So he's trying to appease all sides of his family & his fandom. As someone from a mixed political family, esp on social media, I understand the struggle.

It's a challenging time in social media with politics. So while "wait & see" and "hope for the best" are good sentiments which I believe to certain extent. SA did not need to add that belief to the social media arena at that time. Especially after already taking heat earlier in the week for politics. That might have been a statement better left unposted, considering the timing. But SA often has bad timing and has trouble stepping away from the keyboard. So no surprise there.

As for blind items, rumored affairs, twitter damage control - I'm a little over it. I too can't help but wonder when I see a flare up of social media, if it's a PR thing to provide damage control for something negative hitting press or BTS. The cynicism is real with this show when it comes to social media for me, since the cast is so sporadic with it, And often their interactions seem more network mandated than organic friend moments. Although, this recent increase is probably just do to the return of the show. There's absolutely no other buzz (official or unofficial), so gotta get something going.

Oh, I totally know it's more than just Canadian. It's a combo of a lot of things, some of what you mentioned. However, he can take a more stand back approach because it's not his country. He benefits from America, but he's not beholden to it or stuck in it. Or for someone like me who is American, watching their country and families experience this level of stress and emotions.

And the marches were international, which was amazing. I was surprised and impressed by the turnout all around the world.

I loved her sign too!! And I love how many of the Flarrow cast was out marching, or tweeting in the case of the extremely anxiety ridden Colton. I did a purge of my social media for celebrities I don't want to be supporting at the moment and I'm really pleased that the Arrow family got to stay and I'm enjoying Brandon Routh going ham on twitter.

Supergirl is it's own flavor of cheese, but I enjoy so many of the actors playing off each other that I'm forgiving when it gets too over the top with the hero inside message.

Read a tweet yesterday and had to do with a Flash podcast. It said something like what happens on TV is TV canon and in comics is comics canon and we had better get used to it. Everyone in the DC universe needs to understand this, they never will but it is what it is.
