Sweet Fellowship: Duggars and Friends (aka the Bates Family and Other Featured Families Thread)

Message added by Scarlett45

If a person/family was never featured on any of the Duggar shows, and is not related to the Duggar family by blood or marriage, they do not need to be discussed here..

We may all agree that David Rodriques is quite unfortunate looking, but let's refrain from comparing human beings to apes, its got way too much of a loaded history- please review the new Inclusion Policy updated May 1, 2022 , which details guidelines around discussing body type, capabilities, physical appearance etc. Additionally, using body size as an insult is not allowed.

Shouldn't Jill be pulling out some of that plexus money for gas for the one small generator? She has an old post on the blog where she is quite proud of pulling out a $100 bill to surprise David by paying to fill up the RV tank (never mind $100 was never enough to fill the rv tank) also they camp in the rv all the freaking time and yet someone needs to bring them dinner?? they have a working fridge and surely have a grill. Also Timmy has a trailer with a stove and propane tank,

seriously they have 4 working adults, 3 or 4 other children who could be working yet they don't have any money for gas for a generator. I bet the generator is running that portable ac unit in the love nest the whole darn night though.

The temperatures in NE Ohio have been mid to upper 90's the past 2 days with godawful humidity; that's part of the reason for the wacky storms.  I hope they are able to air condition at least some part of the house where the kids can hang and try to stay cool.

Sofia was wearing the dress that was at least six sizes too big.  That child has never wore clothes or shoes that fit.  NEVER.  She is 7 years old but looks like she’s 4, maybe 5.  Her hair is very thin, stringy and dull, her skin is gray, and she’s extremely underweight.  I want to break down and cry every time I see a picture of her.  I won’t say what I would like to do to her POS mother.

She’s the one who depresses me the most. And the little blonde girl is very similar in looking thin, hollow eyed, and unkempt.

Is that Tim? At least he got a meal.

I cannot believe people are still giving them $/food/anything. They are able bodied and can work. Shaking my head.

Of course Jill is begging for more $… can’t have hubby not having access to the fridge/tv/phone etc. Dog forbid he works a REAL job.

Hubby has no shame. Able bodied and begging for $. Bet Jill found $100 to go eat with David in a restaurant.

Anyone who donates to them is a fool.

If they had a big freezer and aren’t running the generator at least part of the day then they’ll probably lose all they have in it. When we lost all the food in our freezers after a hurricane we were able to get emergency food stamps to replace it. I wonder if people still can?

I’m sure they’re already on that.

Anyone know who the shorts wearing woman is? Jill allowed herself to be around a woman who is not wearing a LONG skirt!

Watching all the kids playing with puppies had me worried. I hope Jilldo doesn’t take any more dogs home!

It would not surprise me to learn that GWE is unwell.  He does not appear well and seems to lack any energy.  I'm sure he does not live a healthy lifestyle in that home.  I wonder if he gets regular heath care (we know the children don't, but they don't get enough food either and it looks like he does).  Imagine the grifting posts if he does become ill.  I feel so, so sorry for these kids.

OH BROTHER.. 🙄

... " However, we are “roughing” it a bit and sadly, it caused our print shop work to come to a SCREECHING halt! With gas prices as high as they are, it is costing us a LOT to keep the generator running 24/7. People have asked how they can help us and our ministry during this time. The biggest way is – PRAYER. Please pray that our power will be restored sooner than later and that we can get back to work! Secondly, if anyone would like to help our family out during this extra strenuous, financial time, please feel free to donate to our ministry through the “Donate Now” button on our website. "

Dogs, like many animals, are good judges of character so I wouldn't be surprised.  They look like Bernese Mountain pups.  They're safe from the Rodlets as I don't think they'd be giving them away.

These pics are a week old. There are pics of Nurie at the nursery picking out plants, and that fence has been in pics over the past week. Didn't see any of this junk on her lawn after the storm.

Jill and David can't afford gasoline for a small generator to keep the fridge and water pump going, but they would have no problem driving a big RV to Texas for a beach vacation if only they could grift a free house.

David must be overjoyed he can't print. Work is time away from the dinner table and the recliner.

The town or state clears trees from the roads, Jill. Your strapping young men don't have to do that.

I do feel bad for sweet little Sophia and her tree house since her Best Momma doesn't seem to care about Sophia unless she's useful for sympathy donations. However, the wood is still there, mostly intact. Timmy and his brothers built it once. I'm sure they can put it back together without too much trouble.

Since PRAYER is the best way to help, I'll put in a word for you with the Lord Named Daniel.

Best typo: "when the trump sounds to bring us home to Heaven."

BTW, leave LGBTQ people alone, you slimy hagfish.

“Trump” isn’t a typo.  She almost always uses that word instead of trumpet.  It’s not grammatically incorrect to use trump, but I’ve never known anyone other than Jill to do it.  The attention-seeker ALWAYS has to be different from everyone else.

I would love to know how much it costs to fill the RV fuel tank and how many miles/gallon it gets.  The Rod offspring  are probably surviving on water and one serving/day of ramen.  I imagine the love offerings (they receive from churches where they perform) are mighty small now too.  I honestly don’t know how they can afford to keep traveling considering how expensive everything is now.

The kids are most likely being made to “hang” outside picking up tree limbs.  Several years ago we had a storm with 75mph sustained winds.  It took 12 of us 12 hours to clean up my yard.  It looked like someone had dropped a bomb on my property.  The heat and humidity has been unbearable this week.  I’m sure those kids are miserable if they’re being made to do yard work.

They’re awful, which is a damned shame, because she’s a very pretty young lady.  She’s drawn those eyebrows on to look just like an apostrophe.  I really want to see what she looks like when she washes off the eyebrow pencil.  Does she have any real eyebrows left at all or is it all pencil?

I try not to be one who minimizes others' struggles, but JillR is an exception to almost every rule. I dealt with a couple of severe weather events years ago and Jill's is nothing in comparison.

Is JillR even aware of Katrina, or Detroit, or TX, or CA and those struggles with weather, housing, power, water, fire, etc.?

3 days without power, WITH a generator is nothing.

And one more thing - I grew up without air conditioning. Being hot sucks, but they have access to water, shade and even walking around an air conditioned mall.

I don’t know if everyone read the blog post. I quoted part of it previously. Here’s more, it hit their road harder……but houses were crushed, not theirs. They suffer so……..

“Sadly, we just went through a TERRIBLE, Ohio Derecho storm! (**Pictures Below) It hit our road harder than nearly anywhere else. Our road and driveway were completely blocked with trees and houses were crushed. Thank God we did not have any trees near enough to our house to crush our house. We do have a TON of yard and tree clean up though.”

I have wondered the same thing. I will say, however, that in the past few pictures her smile is actually straight. I wonder whether she has been practicing that in front of a mirror or something.

I wonder if Nurie over-tweezes her eyebrows out of anxiety and habit.  She couldn't have had a peaceful childhood in that house, and BME probably criticized her natural brows.

Oh do shut up, Jillpm. We are in WI and had some very bad storms come through too. We’re on day 2 without power. They are saying it will be at least Saturday night before we get it, but it could be Monday. And we live in a largish city. We lost a large tree but our house is ok. And we don’t have a generator like they do. We are managing fine. Sure it’s inconvenient, but we’re fine.

But of course, Jillpm has it the worst and will use the opportunity to grift whenever she can. It’s how they make money. She’s probably actually super happy she has another reason to ask for a handout.

So instead of rallying to help those who lost their homes, JillR is seeking donations due a few downed trees and high gas prices.

I do hate her.

Not only did we have a derecho, but in 2008 our city had a horrific flood. Not once during either of these events, did people I know go on SM and play the "woe is me" pity party. People who had their home completely under water or trees through their home during the derecho, left their homes to go help their neighbors and strangers. After the derecho we all went and helped those that had trees that had completely uprooted, down in their yards(I'm talking 100 year old trees). During the flood, we all went to designated areas to help fill sandbags and helped put them around strangers homes. We came together as a community, something Jill knows nothing about. She is a horrible.
