I saw a picture of him and Kaylee performing a duet at the revival last weekend. He's lost so much weight, he looks gaunt. Pale, sunken cheekbones, dead eyes.

Jill is really a SEVERELY crappy daughter. Went on multiple vacations while ma is sick. Guess Ma was having seizures while Jilldo was prancing through Sea World. 
 

$25 given to go fund me today. Guess that’s enough for pizza for her and David.

Maybe don’t bring a busload of kids to a home where someone is reciprocating from a major medical issue. No wonder they days she was there Ma wasn’t doing well. 
 

They had no issues leaving them all behind for their weekend away or there anniversary week long vacation. So it’s not as if they just don’t leave the kids with their adult kids. They do it all the time .

I know!  Is she just going to sit at home while Jonathan works and never visit her family that’s 4 miles away?  I would imagine she might be a little homesick even being close—just used to having a lot of people around.  Or run over there if they have a particularly large order and need help for a couple of hours?  At least for the first 10 months of marriage until she pops out that first kid?  And even then, she could help while MeMe holds the baby.

well she does need money to get back to florida for the birth of nurthing 2 right after Jon (and Kaylee)'s wedding next saturday.

I wonder if Jonathan will buy Kaylee a car right away. Otherwise he will probably just drop her of at the barndo on his way to work each day.

You are right, there’s a confidence in Nathan that didn’t come across before their marriage.  The difference is that Nathan remained in Florida during the courtship and after they married. Although they see the grifters often enough Nathan gets distance and breathing room.

Jonathan was absorbed by the Rods at the engagement and appears to have been swallowed whole. Maybe they have insisted Jonathan has meals with them. They don’t feed the kids they have so Jonathan may be consuming much less than he is used to. Also, the Rods are not known for their healthy meals. That could account for Jonathan’s gaunt appearance.

I’m worried too.  I’ve thought for awhile that Jonathan is having serious misgivings about his decision to marry into this circus.  If he’s miserable, Kaylee will receive the brunt of his misery.

I think the one feeling misgivings is his wallet. You know he will be the headship, he could have told Kaylee that they would not be living near Jill and company. But he didn't. I wonder just how much of a backbone he has? Maybe that will be better for her in one way in the long run?

I think its obvious by Jill's popularity on FB that a lot of crazies not only like her, but are like her. I'm going to guess Jon enjoys his future inlaws. I'm also not 100% sure he or Nathan spend that much money on J&D.

Possibly, we don't know what exactly goes on in their minds. Maybe Jonathan has just been working so many hours and is exhausted.

Just taking the family to dinner (which Nathan has done plenty) is a serious hit to the wallet of someone with Nathan’s means. I can’t imagine what the day a Sea World cost, especially with the all you can eat fee. I recall Nathan paying for the family to do a drive thru safari, and many “double dates.”

My husband has a good job and I’m a SAHM. We have season passes to Knott’s and there is no way we would spring for the all you can eat option. We do pay for free beverages for the year and that’s it. Then there’s the added cost for Nurthan to fly or drive to Ohio. It really adds up when you don’t have much.

Jill's post in unbelievable!! Having the whole Rod clan at her mom's can't be calming. The amount of personal information Jill shares is outrageous and is a lesson to all children on what NOT to share about parents. Not to mention you don't ask for donations when you've just rented a car, gone on vacation, ate out and toured Sea World. 

And why isn't all her godly praying doing anything?

I think that people who commented on Jill's FB page and the ones giving them money probably see nothing wrong with Jill's actions. They think she's a godly woman. They probably think she deserves her vacations. This lot seems to forgive and justify anything as long as you believe in the right Jesus.

Look at all the people who followed the Pearls. You would think that Jesus was against beating children, but apparently not.

At least Vimpat is a legitimate medication for treating seizures. It's more likely to be prescribed for partial-onset seizures.

Believe it or not, barefoot hiking is actually a thing that people do. There are "how-to" videos online and there are organized groups for barefoot hikers. I would never try it myself, but I have an otherwise sane friend who's been doing it for the past twenty years.
