There are addicts who have a physical dependence. These people develop a tolerance and experience withdrawal. Then there are substance abusers (users) . They may use, but they are not addicted. They may use a variety of substances and they may develop a psychological need but they usually will not go to the length of things like shoplifting or stealing meds from a pharmacy. Alcohol is different in that once you have a drink or two you lose executive function and you may do things you wouldn't normally do like have unsafe sexual encounters or drive a car.

Young people are a little different because they lack a fully functioning frontal cortex so they are more likely to engage in things that adult substance users may not do to get drugs.

So there is a difference in drug users from mild to severe and they may be able to use certain substances more occasionally without too much harm when other substances may be more addictive to them. So. someone like Kim may have a real problem with cocaine but she may be able to use or take a pain pill or two without addiction or addictive behavior (drug seeking). That's why someone earlier talked about a friend who was an alcoholic but could recreationally use marijuana without harm.

Brandi really didn't want Kim interacting with Kyle. It's also very telling that she was deflated when Kim turned to her in the driveway and said [paraphrase], "Don't do that. She's my sister." Brandi's, "Oh, wow. OK" was a pathetic response. Why was she taken aback by Kim's statement of fact

I think Brandi and Kim had a plan for the night – for Brandi to pick some kind of fight with Kyle and play the “I am Kim’s new Most Important Person Because You Have Neglected Her” card.   Kim would back her up – she told Lisa R right off the bat that she was ornery.  She was ready for Kim’s Revenge (for the Limo Revelation) Episode.

However, Kim self-medicated and showed up loopy, and Brandi had to play along maybe harder than she had intended, hoping Kyle would take the bait.  When Kim showed signs of pacifying Kyle, Brandi realized she needed to intervene and get back on the evening’s script.  I believe she intended to put Kim in the car (before Kim could make up with Kyle in front of everybody) and then give her speeches about Kyle not being a good sister.  Only things escalated and she was battling both Kyle trying to get to Kim, and Kim, trying to get to Kyle.

And she panicked and her carefully prepared speech about Kyle ignoring Kim kind of babbled out of her while everybody was screaming, instead of being the snide “truth cannon” moment over a card table that she had envisioned, with Kim backing her up and Kyle crying silently from the blindside and the others not knowing what to think.

Brandi was fighting to get all her talking points out in the driveway, but she knew they were falling flat because a) so much was going on, who knew if the cameras were even picking it up, as opposed to Kyle storming this way, and Kim sitting and asking for pizza, and the other women fluttering, and b) they didn't really make sense in relation to what Kim was saying -- Brandi was just sort of shoving them into the conversation as if the hot potato would blow up if she didn't get them out in time.

I don't think they had a plan to stay and fight after poker because IMO Brandi did want Kim out of there originally.  Maybe a plan to pick and fight at poker.  Kim was the one who really wanted to go back in and get a jab at Kyle.

Kim is an addict, she is not just a drunk IMO. She is a pill popper/snorts crushed pills/cocaine and has done this her entire adult life. When she showed Paul all the meds/drugs she takes he became very, very alarmed. Just because it is a RX med does not mean your addiction is any less dangerous, in fact it can be far more dangerous (I am a retired Pharmacy Tech) than many illegal drugs. Kim can not just stop taking most of the drugs she is abusing because of the dangers of withdraw., especially if they are psych meds/drugs. Kim was even honest enough on camera to Kyle 2 seasons ago that the DRs told her, in rehab, that had she not gotten clean at that time, she would die sooner than later. Kim's addictions run deep and she is unwilling to do the work to get completely clean and stay clean.

Not to get too off tangent, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm sure that Kim never received the pills from Monty, she took them. I was once involved with an addict. I had stumbled and bruised my toe pretty badly once. I could barely walk and went to the doctor to make sure nothing was broken. He told me to go home, put the foot up and take some advil, which I did and was fine. As I'm sitting there, I get a call from the pharmacy telling me that my rx is ready. What RX? I called my doctor just to confirm and they said that my ex (the addict) had called and said I was in terrible pain and that the advil wasn't helping. I told them to cancel the order, it wasn't necessary. Prescription drugs are so dangerous. They are engineered by some very smart chemists to make you feel unlike you've ever felt before. My ex died of his addiction. Sadly, I see Kim headed down the same road. Selfishly, I want her and Brandi off of my tv because I feel like I've seen this before. I feel for Kyle.

Going back to Brandi, her parents mentioned this season how Brandi has been a problem since she was young. I remember Brandi mentioning she has been a drinker since she was 14 years old. She said this about two seasons ago, if I remember correctly. Her and Kim most certainly have damaged their brains along with their livers.

Interesting.

Mother Persnickety did a very similar thing to me once, in that I had broken my hand, used a few of the Vicodin, and had left them behind after a visit.  Mother Persnickety tried for a refill, though.  The pharmacy called me and told me there were no refills on my prescription.  I told them I hadn't requested a refill.  They informed me that "someone" had, using my name.  I knew who the culprit was.

Papa Persnickety had pancreatitis and was given a prescription for Vicodin.  I walked in to my parents' home to find my mother swapping out his Vicodin for regular Tylenol.

When I asked what she was doing, she said she needed the Vicodin more than he did and that he would never know the difference between Tylenol and Vicodin.

And so goes the life of an addict.

Do I know for an absolute fact that Kim is stealing/manipulating Monty's pain medications?

No, of course not.

But I wouldn't be a damned bit surprised to find out she was.  It's just typical addict behavior.

Do I think Kim took Monty in only to get to his medications?

No, of course note.

But it's probably a really nice perk for her.

I would adore watching an in depth, truthful story about Big Kathy!  She's the most fascinating of any of them, including their spawn.  Heck, I'd even settle for a CITIZEN KANE type adaptation.

Any true in depth story about her would send Kathy Hilton over the edge more so than Kim or Kyle! Despite what her own daughter did, the porn video, she is terrified about people finding out about her and her background/family and everyone seeing that she is not to the manner born! LOL

Despite it all, no matter what Big Kathy did or didn't do to her daughters, they are fiercely loyal to her.

Well, those secrets are already out.  I went looking to see if the family tradition of getting pregnant first, then married, continued, but all actual dates of Kim's second marriage to Gregg and birthdays of his kids are wiped clean from the net.  It's really strange because Kim got pregnant soon after her divorce from Monty, but also the murdered true love is sandwiched in there between her quick marriage and divorce from Monty, and then still very quick marriage to Gregg (very wealthy Gregg.)

Kyle was pregnant for both of her marriages, and so was Big Kathy, Kim for the first, and probably the second (but no dates!)

I think Kim and Kyle's kids will break the chain of marrying money, and not going to school, so kudos to them and their various baby daddies (husbands and one boyfriend) for that.  I don't think any of them will follow in Paris' footsteps with a sex tape.  Monty has a twitter, but hasn't posted in a long time, the posts there were pretty heartwarming, lots of love to him and Kim from kids and step kids.

I don't think that what happened last season was that Kyle had sudden blind trust in Brandi. I honestly think that had more to do with coming off season three with Lisa making her comments about Mauricio pretty much being a user as well as Lisa's early season four behavior.

Since Kyle was on the receiving end of her (once good) friend's frenemy jabs (one of which included the pile on at Carlton's plus the Dream Team nonsense at Yolanda's), it makes sense to me that she would wonder if Lisa had, in fact, plotted to have some tabloid confrontation on camera, too.

Brandi just happened to be the messenger there, but it seems that Kyle was more focused on the ways in which Lisa had acted toward her from reunion taping until the tabloid drama.

But the messenger is, by definition, inherently relevant to the question of the message's veracity.

My initial post didn't reflect this clearly, but I don't necessarily think Kyle genuinely believed Brandi had suddenly accrued some increased degree of reliability generally speaking last year anymore than Lisa (who is nothing if not smart; perhaps not to the extent that she probably fancies herself, but definitely capable of clocking the perennially shifting details of the lawsuit fabrication) did in season 3.

But the situational opportunity for revenge on a third party required each lady to fully participate in the fiction that Brandi's word has any validity whatsoever. Kyle visibly relished the opportunity to leverage this fact against Lisa when she technically erroneously (but in a broader sense more or less accurately) reminded Lisa that the Vanderpumps had lauded Brandi as a "truth cannon" vis-a-vis the drama with Adrienne. She also would not desist beating the proverbial dead horse about the tabloid conflict after Lisa had repeatedly countered and disputed Brandi's account (ie tearfully confronting Lisa in the wrap party in order to position herself most sympathetically with the dramatic delivery of, "I really need to know if you're my friend"; accusing Lisa at the reunion of harming the Umansky marriage before proceeding to contradict herself by declaring that she and Mauricio were only stronger for weathering the storm; and so on ad nauseum).

Which is pretty much par for course and all well and good since turnabout's fair play and I don't really doubt that Lisa would have foregone the chance to do the same to Kyle at that point in their relationship.

However, the extended history there does make Kyle's present indignation about Miss Glanville pretty rich, in my opinion. "Brandi hurts people; that's what she does." Um, gee, you think? I mean, if only Kyle had a clearcut example of that propensity that hadn't involved someone with whom she actually got along and didn't skew perspectives like Lisa. Like, maybe Adrienne? Or Joyce? Oh, wait . . .

Kyle had absolutely zero problem availing herself of Brandi's sociopathy when it benefitted her contextually, in my view. That's the nature of the game on this program but Kyle's shock-and-awe routine over Brandi's antics have lost what credibility they had for me.

I think the real difference is that Lisa didn't just "believe" Brandi, she was Brandi's champion and an enthusiastic participant in Brandi's bad behavior. Remember her laughing with glee at the insults to Joyce?  I do. Then again,  from what we have seen, Kyle had begun opening up a relationship with Brandi. They were becoming friendlier-- but had not yet become  friends.  Kyle never fabricated excuses for Brandi and got out quick. Unlike Lisa.

I'm a stalwart fan of Joyce; feel that she was the object of bald racial animus from her cast mates and given the shaft by production; and think it would be awesome if she returned to the show. I still remember how disturbing one thread of prevailing reactions - that it was somehow Joyce's responsibility to "rise above" Brandi's bigoted outbursts at the SUR dinner - on TWOP was. And Lisa's you can't call people racist chastisement basically exemplified the concept of white privilege, in my opinion, and is a big reason why my appreciation for her became relative to the rest of the cast.

On the other hand, Kyle's graciousness toward Joyce is why I started to occasionally like her. However, I don't really see how she represents a particularly stark contrast of righteousness on that count. No, she didn't support Brandi's idiocy like Carlton, Yolanda, and Lisa did- and props to her for that. But I don't recall her offering any robust opposition to that ugliness either. She wasn't present for the SUR argument, but I do remember when Joyce was deconstructing Brandi dead to rights (at a golf course?), Kyle was rather reserved and quiet and mostly let Joyce do the talking without adding any opinions. She didn't chime in at the reunion either when Joyce was interacting with Brandi or Yolanda. Maybe that footage is on the cutting room floor, but Kyle still eagerly got into bed with Brandi when it was to her political gain. After the attacks on Joyce, the lawsuit fabrications, the surrogacy reveal, the "you're on meth" remark and its attendant pearl-clutching by Kyle.

It is always wise to remember it has been stated repeatedly that production confirmed to Kyle, Brandi's assertion that Lisa suggested the tabloids be taken to Palm Springs.  Kyle was generous she expected an "I am joking", response from Lisa. Lisa decided to play it the other way who do you believe me or Brandi?  Brandi has never said she and Kyle were friends, Kyle has never said she and Brandi were friends. These random hiking shots look very uncomfortable between Kyle and Brandi.

What makes this episode interesting is no one gives a fig about Lisa V. anymore the new girls are front and center.  Lisa held onto the grudge far too long and never really had a reason to be mad at Kyle.  Lisa was very, very rough on Kyle for the better part of Season 4-to feign offense over Puerto Rico is happy horse poop.  Lisa was the one before the trip that shut Kyle down.

The only one that said the producers saw this was Brandi. Kyle has never confirmed that production told her anything. Kyle DID believe what Brandi told her because Kim backed Brandi up. Both Yolanda and Carlton denied knowing anything about "tabloid gate" other than what Brandi claimed happened and they were both at the house when this was supposed to have happened. There is no way in hell that Brandi held onto this kind of dirt about Lisa and never told Yolanda until they were in PR. She would have spilled those beans way before, while they were in PS and Brandi was drunk out of her mind spouting all kinds of nasty. Brandi is incapable of holding on to any dirt on her fellow cast members, especially when she is drunk.

Yolanda had no interest in tabloid gate as it did not involve her.  It is Kyle's silence on the producer issue that convinced me that Kyle knew.  I think all Kyle wanted wanted is  was a joke but the others Brandi, Kim and Yolanda made it impossible.  Kyle knew it Palm Springs there was another surprise for her and much to Yolanda's credit she put a stop to it and I will say I think Lisa knew it was time to stop.

Off the beaten path-when the story about Mauricio first came out it was supposedly some Comedy Central hack who claimed Mauricio said he was married but would play around and paid for her drinks with a Black American Express card.  When the story came out-Brandi was the one who said she knew the woman and of course thought she was truthful.  Mauricio had a great comeback-I don't have a black American Express card.  Brandi is the one with the tabloid connections concocting these stories.  I will say this Ken was totally cool about the cheating rumors saying he believed his friend.

Thank you for making this point. There are millions of addicts in the US. Not all addicts fall into this category of being the worst most "morally bankrupt" people on earth. I understand that this is an "agree to disagree" situation so MMV. I believe that there are addicts who would invite a cancer patient into their home in order to have access to drugs, but I also believe there are addicts who wouldn't. Is Kim one of the former or  one of the later? My guess would be that Kim had good intentions but that the two ended up sharing prescriptions and alcohol between themselves. I just get that vibe between the two of them. Then again I could be dead wrong and Kim could have invited Monty to live with her for the sole purpose of stealing his meds. My assumption however is that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I don't think that Kim has been 100% noble or 100% evil in this situation. Regardless, my first thought when Kyle said that Kim was in the hospital was that Kim was building up an excuse. If this was filmed as soon after the poker party as it appeared to be, Kim could have easily gone to the hospital as a way to cover her own ass. In Kim's mind it probably gives extra ammo to her back story that she was in pain so she took a pill. In Kim's mind she probably thinks that it adds legitimacy to her claim of being in pain. In reality though it just looks more suspicious! In the episode, Kim said, "Monty give me a pill that the Dr. gave me for pain." At the time I just assumed that she was high and misspoke, but now I'm wondering if Kim has her own prescription for painkillers?

Yolanda continues to bore me, though I would love to see her and Brandy go at it (verbally).

Addicts.

Yeah, I really do believe she was just trying to help, but she did seem to be a bit..errr... relentless in going on about addiction. I have a friend like that, though, that after a few drinks, she WILL go on (and on and on...) about a topic, so maybe Lisa R. was a bit buzzed herself?  I mean she can't weight much more than 110 pounds--it probably doesn't take much!

I still really like her though.  And Eileen?  LOVE.  Her shading of Brandi in the driveway was beautiful and perfect.  Almost poetry.

I think LisaR poured it on a bit thick, but I think her reasoning was that she was thinking Kyle needed or wanted to open up and she was trying to encourage her to do so by being supportive. Problem was, Kim had already guilted Kyle about exposing her when she hadn't even done so, so Kyle just wasn't going there then.

Well I disagree about Yolanda not having an interest in tabloidgate. She was ticked at Lisa because Lisa did not go to her finger painting party and she did not fuss over Yolanda during the 18 months she was bed ridden (that happened even while filming lol), I also think she wanted to unseat Lisa from her fan base in hopes of getting her own spin off, Lisa was standing in her way.

The rumors about Mauricio and a transsexual pro were in at least 1 tabloid back in season 2. They appeared right after Lisa was accused of cheating on Ken in the tabloids. They did not bother either Kyle or Mauricio back then and I must question why they bothered them last season. The tabloid they were in was not a national one, but rather local to the Hollywood/Southern Cali area, that is until the season started last year, then.........all hell broke loose.

It was nice to hear/see Ken stand up for his friend but I suspect most men would say the same even if they knew their friend had stepped out.

Both Kyle and Kim seem to have adored their mother. So I agree she might a piece of work but I don't believe that book is even mostly accurate. He had a agenda to paint them in the most salacious light to sell books. The point of course is that Kim didn't have a  normal childhood and she may have been affected by that and emotionally stunted by missing those rites of passage and by her substance use.

As bizarre as some of the allegations are, I don't see Kathy Hilton not suing if her mother didn't hire a man to school her teenage daughter in sex.  The bizarre part is, especially back then, I thought virginity would be a hotter commodity than a teenager trained to be a courtesan.  I believe that Big Kathy is very capable of doing the things alleged.  Stage parents have pimped out their children (literally and figuratively) since the early days of Hollywood.

I haven't read the book, but I've read many reviews of it on Amazon.  Many readers found it strange that so much time was spent on the Richards family, versus the Hiltons.  I think the author's point was Paris is who she is, because of how Big Kathy raised Little Kathy.  I'm sure Big Kathy would have been very proud of Paris' sex tape - imagine that she knew all that stuff without a hired sex tutor.

I thought the instruction was oral so virginity would be intact.

I thought there were 2 tabloid stories - Brandi gave Kyle a heads up that one of the stories was coming out, and that's why Brandi was quoted as saying that she was trying to be a "girls girl and give a friend a heads up" in TMZ or radar online or something.  Not the transexual story.  Zoeysmom ITA that Kyle was given a confirmation by production - whether true or not - to propel the storyline.

Regardless, Lisa jokes about it in Kyle's kitchen with Portia being the other woman, Brandi brought it up at the lunch, Yo said, "You know where theres...duh duh duh (lyme menopause brain)" and Lisa finishes with "Smoke there's fire"  And Kyle cuts to talking head with something like "FU bitches."  Lisa has her tete a tete tea party with Ken where she says stuff like "you never know" and Ken defends Mauricio.  Those women all wanted it on camera for Kyle to have to deal with.  Not nice.  But I hate Kyle, so suck it Kyle.

These women all love to use Brandi and then wash their hands of her when they are done. Kyle thought that Lisa would be odd man out this year and she would have all the other women on her "team," but it didn't turn out that way, and she had to tuck her tail and have that apology lunch with Lisa where Lisa came out on top again. So frustrating for Kyle. So why should Kyle think that she could be friendly with Brandi?  After Brandi turned on Lisa?  And Adrienne.   Kyle is just lucky that Brandi got drunk and spewed some nonsense about Kyle not being there for Kim when Kim needed her because that gave Kyle an excuse to dump her drunk, liability ass.

This is off topic, and I apologize, but this is the second time I have read in these forums about someone with pancreatitis.

My husband suffered with for a couple of years, very painful - many trips to the ER.  Finally, the doctors took him off Welchol and he has not had an attack since them.

So - if you know someone with pancreatitis, please check to see if they are on Welchol.  I don't know why it wasn't named as the culprit  in my husband's case sooner, but it wasn't.

I don't think either Kyle or Lisa came out on top of the moving on lunch.  Lisa and Kyle has spent two days filming a Lady Gaga video and patched things up.  It is LIsa's preference that the apology stuff take place on camera.  Lisa and Kyle have had some minor jabs at each other but I think it is more like Season 2 where both of them were trying to right the tipping canoe.  Kyle's persona, until Carlton came along, is to try and keep the band together and I do believe Lisa does the same as well-it is the job of the lead characters.  Kyle apologizes or at least participates,  early and often when there is discourse.  Lisa on the other hand wants things to linger a bit and wants them on camera.  I don't know that either method is better than the other but I don't think it did Lisa any favors going into Episode 8 and not having the talk with Brandi.  As people have discussed giving Brandi screen time while she chases Lisa and Ken around  makes her seem sympathetic.

This spring/summer there was a Brandi Podcast with Kim on it.  Brandi and Kim were talking about what great friends they were and how much they forgave each other for Game Night.  Kim brought Kyle's name up as also being a great friend to Brandi and Brandi said something about Kyle and she not being around each other that much.  I truly believe what Brandi was angry at Kyle about on Poker Night was not her seeming disinterest in Kim's problems, but the fact that Kyle and family were taking fabulous vacations and Brandi was not invited.  I think it steamed Brandi when she found out Yolanda would be joining the Umanskys on the yacht and she wasn't even given an invite.  Same with Tahoe I think Brandi, because she feels she is the star of the show, expected some invites on Kyle's vacations.

This became clear to me when Brandi claimed  last week she was invited by JR to stay with Kyle and Mauricio in Sundance and attend the evening cocktail parties hosted by The Agency.  Who does Brandi think she is kidding?  Once again Brandi went there to her "kicking ass not kissing ass" place and said if she had gone she would have beat the crap out of Kyle.

I don't think the Lisa/Kyle apology lunch was Lisa's decision, it was a producer arranged/driven lunch. IMO The producer's want these ladies to "make up" on camera, even though they did it months earlier off camera like most adults would do, in private, to keep the storylines flowing as "naturally" as possible on these types of shows.  Otherwise it would not look cohesive if Lisa/Kyle were suddenly friendly with each other on camera, they have to marry the off camera reality with the on camera storyline as much as possible. LOL

Strangely, I do think Kim thought Kyle and Brandi had become real friends, they were doing things together off camera fairly often even though the show was not filming. Kyle, Camille and Brandi were in the press/tabloids together several times going to restaurants/bars/dancing so it would not be a stretch to think they were friends in real life, maybe not BFFs but close enough to go out on several girls nights and have fun.

Agree that Kyle was sorely mistaken to not think Brandi would never shoot venom her way. Brandi has shown time and time again that she is vile. She is also an alcoholic, like Kim. If there is one thing Kyle should know is, addicts will burn you, time and time again. Why would any sober person deal with Brandi?

I do feel with all that happened in PR and the tabloid talk being brought up, Kyle was of the belief that Lisa was the one behind tabloid-gate. She was wanting to hear confirmation of this. Unfortunately, she took the word of Brandi whose credibility is nonexistent.

As for the ladies using Brandi...no. Brandi puts herself front and center in everything. She is Bravo's puppet. She is also doing what she has been doing since she was a young girl - per her mother's comment to Lisa. She does not care as long as she gets paid! Brandi has never made any claims that she has been used. She is willing, ready and able.

As for "all the Kyle love going on here" (not sure who posted that), but the recent episode did highlight a very intense situation involving Kyle. Kim and Brandi were both behaving like jackasses. If and when Kim and Brandi do something where I feel they were wronged, I will post in their defense. When Kyle fucks up, I will point that out, such as what she and Kim did on game night. I could take or leave all of these women, but I hope my comments about a cast mate are not mistaken for "love".

I think Kim was too bombed to have any sort of plan, let alone pull it off. Brandi wouldn't know strategery if it slapped her on her ass and called her a cunt. Brandi and her "takedowns" are about as subtle as a mack truck.

When I re-watch the episode and Brandi's talking head in the red dress that looks like it is on backwards with her best imitation of 21 year Ariana Grande's hair, I still can't get over the fact that Brandi thought her screaming, yelling, swearing was appropriate with an 11year old boy in the house let alone say that Eileen should have arranged for a nanny to take the boy somewhere for the evening.  Does Brandi think soap opera stars just regularly have their nanny and child check into a hotel for the evening so their guests can behave like misbehaving sailors on shore leave?  If Brandi is going for the new successful businesswoman persona she needs a reality check.

I really hope next week's preview with Lisa and Max is misleading. I've made my opinion very clear on this adoption topic, and Lisa has absolutely no right to keep info on his biological parents from him - he's an adult. She doesn't even want to tell him his original name. In my mom's heart of hearts, she never wanted to tell me I was adopted, and really wanted me to know nothing about my bio family. But she knew how wrong that was, did the right thing, and I had my adoption papers prior to my eighteenth birthday. If Lisa is insecure on this topic, she needs to re-examine their relationship.

I agree. I think Anwar look just like Mohamed facially.

Generally, I think favorably of being open about adoption, but there are instances it might not be very favorable to the child. For instance, if the both mother has significant psychiatric issues, the child has emotional, mental or developmental issues which would make his understanding of rejection very limited in case the birth mother wants no part of him, etc. Many possibilities for mine fields. Lisa may know things about the birth parents that make her hesitant to divulge. She might even have checked out some things on her own and has reason to believe the birth parents don't want to be contacted.

Reality show vertigo!

The Brandi buzz is interesting and persistent. Sometimes I get the impression that her audience is less appalled and more deeply disappointed.

One of the things I notice with these shows is that, over time, as investment builds and skews everything, I forget how "meh" all of these people, in fact, are.  Is Eileen awesome?  Probably not.  They are all somewhere within 5 shades of who-cares.

So when we get worked up over one idiot, particularly as a group,  I wonder about our initial investment or some kind of reality-TV-amnesia.

I don't know.  Maybe nostalgia does apply.  I don't know about this board but I remember (???) sort of liking Brandi.  But she got tired because she let cracks show, because she made it easy to speculate about her relation to production, because she doesn't have the same energy, novelty or seeming-athenticity.    So while I remember awesomeness turned gross, it was prob more like kind-of-shitty turned shittier and thus my excitement around her behaviour not all that warranted.

(Also her face looks fucking weird and I'm tired of not holding these assholes "accountable" for the visual consequences of fucking up your face. dude, you read differently on camera when you put your body dysmorphia first!

especially if you want me to associate you with honesty!)

So, yeah, B is doing a shitty job at being the piece of shit she was a few years ago.  Right now Eileen is doing a better job at being whatever.

It may just simply be that she does not want to say their name on camera. This show is seen in England, they are currently 1 season behind us, so their privacy has to be taken into account and just coming out and saying/admitting that would break that 4th wall.

Vince looking thru the garage, window reminds me of old Alfred Hitchcock movies in that Alfred Hitchcock appeared in some random scene in all of his movies. Or like Where's Waldo?

And the best part was, he was chewing.  Must have found the pizza first before seeing what the commotion was all about.

I missed that the first time through and went back for it.  Probably my favorite housewife moment of all times.

Ugh. I think this whole thing is so gross, but I wanted to say a few things--Cedars Sinai is a great hospital.  I have terrific doctors there (when I'm in Cali) and the ER is beyond awesome.  They triage fast, they treat you well, and it's probably the cleanest hospital in the area.  Having said that, if they think you are in pain, yes, they are going to give you pain meds, and that's not inherently bad, unless you're an addict.  I just hate to see it being talked about as though it's just a hotel for junkies. I was very ill once with an infection, and my PCP came to visit me there, after hours because she was so concerned. That's never happened to me in my life.

Second, benzos are not inherently bad for people with anxiety disorders, though I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I was happy to be on them. Luckily my tolerance has stayed relatively steady over the years--I haven't had to increase my dose very much to keep receiving the benefits, but ultimately I think they can take a very high cost. In a year and a half, I'll have been taking them for twenty years, and while they were the drug du jour back in the day when I was first diagnosed, the long term effects are there and they're real, especially when it comes to cognitive issues.  If Brandi is mixing booze and Xanax, she is walking a very dangerous road, not only with respect to the aforementioned cognition problems, but with dying.  Benzos and booze do not mix--unless of course, you have a tolerance to both; which sort of tells me exactly where Brandi's at.

It's an irresponsible, beyond stupid thing to do, especially when you have two children who are relying on their mom to be there for them.

I would give my left tit for Yolanda's kitchen, it's that fantastic.

Totally agree.  Even with all of that beautiful produce on display I gnash my teeth when I realize the only things that are cooked there are part of Yolanda's batshit crazy diet.  She had two whole hard boiled eggs this morning.  Maybe a single almond for dessert.  And lemons.  Lots of lemons.

What I could DO with that space!!!!

Because prior to filming Yolanda, Kyle and Lisa worked together, Lisa and Kyle had seen each other and mostly Kyle said Lisa wanted the moving forward on camera.  As far as Lisa letting things linger, I think there was ample opportunity in the first seven episodes for Lisa to and Brandi to have a sit down and Lisa kept saying she wasn't ready.  I don't think it is a bad idea they put their moving forward conversations on camera, this year they just didn't seem so genuine.  I thought Kyle and Lisa had pretty much made up during the Reunion last year.

This is not unique to Lisa. None of then react the way people do in real life because this isn't real life. I know that if a new friend like Brandi told me something about an older friend like Lisa and Tabloidgate, I'd be hiking my butt over to ask her about with a quickness and not be waiting for a camera crew.  But, Kyle waited for the camera opportunity so she let it linger in that case. IMO.  That's just the first example that came to mind. The price of being on TV, they must wait for the camera to react. the only thing I believe to be real is that unless Kim is a far better actress than I give her credit for, she really is a drugged up mess.

Thanks for the info on this from someone who's been there and done that.  By that, I mean you!

I've often wondered if having camera crews around while some of this stuff is happening doesn't give the ladies the sense of an added layer or protection, know what I mean?  As in, they may be capturing too much and that ain't good but if I start to OD maybe someone will be around.  It must get super confusing for everyone.

Bet that when David is in town and Yolanda and family are hungry and no cameras are on, some family cook or two is cranking out meal after meal.  I would bet that Yolanda likes to eat from the look of her.  She's hardly starving herself off camera and neither are her daugthers.  All three of them have lovely but definitely healthy looking bodies.

This is very true. I am not a Yolanda fan (although i am a fan of her refrigerator), but she has an amazing figure for any woman and for a woman of a certain age, well. it's really, really good. But she is not stick thin like Brandi or Lisa R. I know the saying that you can't be too rich or too thin, but you can, IMO, and it really isn't a good look. Especially as one ages. I love Lisa R, but she could add a few pounds.

I also maintain a healthy weight and am still a size 8,  and do it by mini fasting (500 calories) twice a week. So I wonder if Yolanda has a similar regimen. Usually I eat a healthy, sensible diet 3 days and eat whatever I want the other two days.  Her lemon fast seems more extreme, but clearly she doesn't stay on it all that often. I bet she eats regular food fairly regularly.

Brandi, OTOH, reminds me of my mother in law who was an  alcoholic and drank the vast majority of her calories, usually wine, which for alcohol is fairly low in calories, and didn't really care if she ate or not. She never had to worry about her weight.

chlban -- One of the frustrations of the show for me is that we don't get to see some regular meals at Yolanda's and My Love's.   I do think they eat well and we just don't get to see it.  All of her children look to be of healthy weight too.  I would be surprised to find out that David doesn't tuck in and like his three squares.  Yolanda is definitely enjoying some food off camera.

So --- goodbye, M'a Luv!

Re Brandi --  I dunno -- She's not packing the alcoholic bloat.  I'm not her number one fan, but aside from what she's done to her face, I think she's got an amazing grasshopper body that I would be looking to fashion exploit.  Her legs alone are awesome.  Credit where it's due. If she could her mouth shut and just give herself over to fashion photography, even at her age, who knows?  I do think she's beautiful in her weird way still.

Kudos on being and maintaining a size 8 ... For me always the ultimate prize and goal.

Yeah, Yolanda is not skinny. She is muscular in a way that it is clear she uses weights in her workouts. That's another reason I don't believe she has been in bed for 18 months much of any length of time because her figure takes dedication to exercise regularly. Brandi is skinny fat. I don't find her body type attractive myself. She looks like she doesn't workout.

I think/believe that all 3 women met off season/off filming and made up or came to a mutual understanding/agreement. I don't see them filming together otherwise. The filmed apology was how the producers explain their friendliness in light of last seasons blow ups. The only one not to meet with Lisa was Brandi, IMO Lisa really is over and done with her.

I think some apologies are done off camera after the reunion is filmed then somewhat replicated on film to show continuity, otherwise it would be confusing/frustrating for we viewers. I think during filming they, the HWs, stick to the set storyline as much as possible even if they made peace behind the camera.
