Chas411 January 16, 2015 Share January 16, 2015 Just thought I'd put this up as I'm streaming the blue carpet and jesus, the presenters couldn't make the interviews more awkward if they tried. Link to comment

Chas411 January 2, 2016 Author Share January 2, 2016 2016 Critics Choice Awards is airing on January 17th and here are the nominations: http://deadline.com/2015/12/critics-choice-awards-nominations-2016-full-list-1201666326/ Super happy to see UnReal get a nomination as well as Shiri Appleby for her great work. 1 Link to comment
Thumper January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 Can we continue the 2016 Awards here? Just going for the shallow -- I really liked Rachel McAdams and Kirsten Dunst's dresses! Also happy to see Spotlight win. Link to comment

elzin January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 That little boy from Room was too freaking cute. I didn't know Mayim had never won anything before. Good for her, even if she wasn't necessarily my personal choice. Link to comment
elzin January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 OMG did anyone else see the woman who looked like Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice sitting behind Christian Slater? Or did I just hallucinate that? Link to comment
Tosia January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 I love me some Amy Schumer, but why in all that is holy did they let her ramble on and on and on and on and on? And why in God's name did she not prepare a thank you that was the tiniest bit clever or entertaining? Has Jennifer Lawrence fan-girled all the funny out of her? WTF, AMY? 3 Link to comment
UniqBlue69 January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 Has Amy ever been clever? I'm asking sincerely. I don't watch her show on Comedy Central so I can only go by what I see of her on awards show, and her whole shtick seems to be that she's a fat slut. 2 Link to comment
Artsda January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 Happy for Rami Malek and Mr.Robot! I can't stand Amy or her act she puts on. Don't find her funny. 1 Link to comment
Tosia January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 (edited) Her show on comedy central really skewered issues that women experience, or have to deal with in life and on the screen. I was impressed. I have been a feminist for eons. Edited January 18, 2016 by Tosia 3 Link to comment
Artsda January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 So happy for Spotlight, much deserved. 1 Link to comment
Irlandesa January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 I like these nominations, especially for the television side of things as things get nominated here that would never get ignored by Emmys. And some not even nominated by the Golden Globes. But I can't believe how many awards weren't given out live and yet it was still a three hour broadcast. 2 Link to comment
BW Manilowe January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 I was sort of surprised William Shatner was the announcer. Link to comment
cpcathy January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 Overall, CC seems to make the right choices, Fargo, Rami Malek, Mr. Robot (OK, "right" in my world!). Link to comment

TVFan17 January 13, 2019 Share January 13, 2019 (edited) I'm watching the red carpet (actually it's sort of a blue-purplish on my screen!) arrivals on my CW local affiliate channel in Los Angeles -- KTLA (in the Tribune family). This is the same channel that will show the awards as well. Edited January 13, 2019 by TVFan17 Link to comment
FoundTime January 14, 2019 Share January 14, 2019 I was seriously confused by the whatever-color-carpet as I thought the show started at 6 but according to the countdown clock onscreen it will actually start in nine minutes (?). Also, hi Rami! Link to comment
Valny January 14, 2019 Share January 14, 2019 Never in a million years would I think Glenn Close and Lady GaGa would be TIED for a Best Actress award win!! But when Dafoe said it was a tie, right away I thought it's going to be those two....same with the tie between Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette. Very bummed that Jodie Comer didn't win for Killing Eve. Sandra Oh keeps winning this!! Link to comment
GHScorpiosRule January 14, 2019 Share January 14, 2019 (edited) 🙌🙌💃💃WOOT!WOOT!!!💃💃🙌🙌 Double Win for Christian Bale! Though I'm at a loss as to how Vice falls under Comedy. And was this the first reunion for Bale and Ben Stiller, who were in Empire of the Sun together? Edited January 14, 2019 by GHScorpiosRule Link to comment

Sandra Oh keeps winning this!! Yes Gaga and Close surprised me as well. I can't see Gaga winning SAG. I think Close will win the Oscar because they may feel it's her time to win. They love to do that. Vice is not a comedy. At the Oscars it will be in the same category as the drama films which it is. I thought Amy was good in Sharp Objects so I am glad she won. I have not watched Escape at Dannemora yet it's on the list. Link to comment
