Andy asked Kathy and Kyle how Kim was doing, and that he heard she had moved to Florida.  Kathy said Kim's "spending some time down there" and that Kim was doing well.

Kyle said that Kim is "doing better" but didn't elaborate, and to me, it sounded like Kathy was going to go on with more about Kim, but Kyle shot her a warning look, and the subject got changed.  (At least, that's how it looked to me - I'd have to re-watch to confirm, but not sure if I want to watch this mess again!)

I enjoyed how quiet Sutton was. Garcelle said almost nothing, but did a ton of reaction shots, and "Wows" and flashbacks to her "DAMNS!" , and smirking which she seems to know is akin to a reaction shot. She knows the formula and can dial it in and have her camera time to boot.

For the most part, Garcelle sat there looking disapproving. I really don't care for her. She REALLY didn't like the "witches of Eastwick" comment, which I kind of loved.

Kyle and Dorit shouldered most of the work, they did the most talking. I see why Andy keeps them. They have very reactive and emotional faces, which makes good TV.

Sutton's "don't make me your enemy, trust me" comment did make her seem like a psycho.

I sort of remember, that in the past, it was against the rules to bring up things that weren't part of the show/seen on the show. Now, it seems super normal.

I agree with you, and I am glad that Andy did challenge Kyle.

But, I do also agree with Kyle - the housewives fans are/can be completely rabid and borderline crazy in their posts, comments and everything else on social media.  It's scary to read some of the stuff I've read on social media towards housewives.

I posted about this a few weeks ago that I think originally, Kyle thought she was doing Morgan a favor by pushing her on social media, etc., and neither one expected the extent of the negative fall out.

Most country music stars don't really face the same kind of vitriol and outright hatred that housewives deal with from all those keyboard warriors and plain old trolls.

Kyle and Morgan did themselves no favors by posting photos of themselves together on their socials, making that music video together, etc.  They continue to do themselves no favors as they are still posting photos together to this day.

Morgan needs to decide what she wants more - a true friendship (or relationship) with Kyle, away from the public eye, or the fame and blowback that goes along with posing and posting photos with a Real Housewife.  She can't reap the benefits and then bitch and moan about it.

Frankly, I am extremely tired of hearing about, talking about or even mentioning Morgan Wade.  She's not that great of a singer or performer, she's annoying and seems entitled.  I've seen and heard waaaay better country musicians playing for tips at the bars along Broadway in Nashville.

Expand

I agree.  I don't find Morgan Wade all that talented or likable.  But to each his/her own.

I do think Kyle could end all the speculation by either refusing to say anything else about it, state they are just friends and that's all, or say they are in a relationship.  I don't think she has an issue with lying so I think she knows if the speculation continues, it's publicity.  And there is no such thing as bad publicity.

But that's essentially what she did isn't it?  It was Garcelle and others that kept mentioning it.

We know Kyle wants to avoid being drawn into conflict at all times, my favorite example being her high-tailing it out of the restaurant in Amsterdam when Kim and Rinna went at each other.  I think she would be happy to not have this subject tossed at her by these co-workers.

PK lost all his booze bloat.  And it looks like he's staying at a golf club in Florida.  I wonder where Jaegar and Phoenix think he is right now?  Walking out the door is one thing, but if you leave young children behind you should keep one foot in the door.

I think publicly trash talking each other is really dumb of him and Dorito when there are young children involved.

Dorit, at the end of he reunion episode, was baiting Sutton.  ‘Here she comes…..’.  What the actual hell was that?  Dorit is a mean girl through and through.  Bait Sutton and, when/if Sutton rises to the bait, Dorit can gloat about how right she is about Sutton.

I sincerely hope Sutton doesn’t give her the satisfaction.

Expand

Yes!  And she has been doing that all season.  Dorit has accused Garcelle of throwing jabs in the past, but seeing her poke at Sutton like that was revolting.  She has no self awareness if she doesn't understand how she is provoking people this year.  Kyle and Dorit were literally screaming at each other at the Viper Room, but somehow Sutton's calling Dorit a "bitch" or "honey" is completely over the line.  SMH

I’ve been watching since season 1, but I don’t think I’m continuing. It feels like the only way Poorit can stay on the show is to rant and rave. I wonder if there’s a clause in her contract that for every “C word“ she gets a bonus. How did she get first chair? Her storyline is being a grifter.

Jennifer Tilly is a call back to what the show should be, fabulous wealth, and having fun with it. I don’t turn on to watch screeching, I tuned in to watch escapism.

And I can’t blame PK for running as fast as he could away from that obnoxious skeleton.

The show has devolved to actual bully behavior and I honestly think women are better than that.  Petty, sure.  Snarky, yay!  Character assassination, mocking and baiting, no.  The way Denise was treated, how Diana (and Erika) spoke to Sutton and now how Dorit spoke to Sutton was gross.  It is though they feel they have permission to do whatever they want to her and she can't respond.  The meanness reminds me of Rinna.  Who I believe is Coach to the feeble minded.

I've read everyone's comments (thank you) and just watched Part 2.  I'm scratching my head wondering what Dorit is trying to accomplish.

She is clearly being a jerk--is this what she wants to accomplish?  Does she want everybody to be glad when her house gets foreclosed on?  Does she think disagreeable will get her "fan favorite" or is she embracing being the unreasonable screeching harpie crown?

I hope we get to hear a little more from Boz and Erika.  Boz clearly believes herself to be the arbiter of accountable, or at least, reasonable behavior.  Let's see how it works out in Part 3.

Yeah, Jennifer would have to massively step it up if she were to become a FT HW.

Right now, her schtick is cute only because she's still a Friend Of. She's not expected to carry the drama on her shoulders. She's primarily there to observe the action and make a few funny quips on camera.

That said I'm looking forward to seeing Dorit living in a box on a main road during next season.

I'm with you there.

I didn't mind Dorit as much in her early seasons. I remember saying that she must be a performance artist because she was so over-the-top with her persona.

But these days, she's more genuinely unhinged. I sincerely hope Dorit has an excellent support system because I'm pretty sure her behavior is mostly tied to her failing marriage, but she needs to take some time to get herself together. She went from being somewhat amusing (problematic comments aside) to pivoting directly into an Erika Jayne persona.

One Erika Jayne is more than enough on this franchise. We don't need duplicates of her.

Her behavior lends credibility to the idea that some have proposed here that Rinna is coaching her FF5 cronies.  She is counting on that Bravo paycheck now more than ever and will do what it takes to keep it.

I'm definitely leaning a bit harder in the direction of some of these women being coached by Rinna offscreen.

It's probably the closest Rinna will ever get to being on this show ever again.

But I also agree @albarino in that the logic seems faulty, unless it's solely about keeping her spot and diamond on this show.

It'd be interesting to see how her alliances work out for next season because I'm not sure any of the women actually like her anymore, except for Boz.

I mean, both Kyle and Dorit had a lot to say (on camera, and to Erika's face) about Erika's lack of empathy toward Tom's victims. I highly doubt Erika forgot about that.

I think she's playing different sides here, but I don't think she genuinely likes or trusts any of them. Not even Kyle.

For sure, Sutton has made missteps and responded with snarky  and unkind comments. And I think the sisterhood thing, while well intentioned, was a misstep. I just don’t see her missteps as worthy of season after season of FFF attempted takedowns, and I certainly don’t see Dorit’s targeted nastiness this season and at the reunion as defensible, either. She seems to see all this as her opportunity to let it all fly and get herself to the top of the heap. All these women could learn to think before they speak. Viewers remember.

I think Dorit really doesn't have her own persona. She models others behaviors (Diana, Erika, Rinna), dresses like a poseur but doesn't see she looks stupid AF, and has no humor. I mean it was an idea (I'm sure show driven) that didn't work out. To hold her feet to the fire cause she chose this theme for the season to build trips and events and maybe some bridges with, especially with these wenches, seems a bit much but I mean whatever these women can get there hands on to YET AGAIN pile on Sutton is what they will use.

I don't have a problem with Sutton trying to create that space cause I believe it was genuine however, when bitches be bitchin' and assholes be assholing then I'm not going to police how Sutton responds. Yes, she chose some harsh ways to respond but people are acting like Sutton just woke up and decided to mistreat everyone in her path just because and for the life of me I can't understand this rational. Good! She is insufferable.

If I hear Kyle refer to the others as mean girls another time, I'm going to lose it. We know who the true mean girls are, Kyle. You and your minions!

Oh I didn’t know about Kim. How sad.

Yes. Kathy and Kyle didn't say much. It doesn't sound good.

About the only thing I appreciated about this episode was Andy bringing up the point that if Kyle didn't want attention about her relationship with Morgan, then maybe she shouldn't have played her love interest in a video.
