This has been one of the worse seasons. There is something off with Kyle, Dorit and Sutton. They are miserable sob sisters. Let see, Kyle and Sutton have left in a huff and tonight It was Dorit's turn. And for the record I think what Sutton said to Dorit was crass. She should be embarrassed.

Dorit also left in a huff from the Erika's song "debut" at the Viper Room, so, for this season, Dorit's in the lead for dramatic exits.  😂

Frankly, I don't know why they all make such a big deal of someone wanting to remove themselves from an awkward or uncomfortable situation, even if they are filming.  First of all, if one of them leaves, it gives the other women more screen time, and secondly, it gives the other women free rein to talk about the one who left.

The fact she brags about knowing fashion.. when Kaftains have been and are big in the fashion world is kinda funny to me ..

I did not know that... great news for Kyle!  In fact when Jennifer said all the women would be wearing caftans all I could think of was Kyle and her affection for the style, although she seems to have backed off that in recent years; maybe because they are now in style, lol.

Now I want to wear a flowy Mrs. Roper caftan and eat a big buttered baked potato, sans caviar since my tastes run more toward crumbled bacon.  😛

funny how fashion really does do a repeat … seeing things (not kaftans) that I wore as a teenager suddenly come back into fashion.. it’s creepy lol and makes you feel OLD

Also, although she looks fab thanks to a shit ton of plastic surgery, she is a little long in the tooth for a lot of rich men.  They want someone young enough to be their daughter.  Unless she goes for someone like Anna Nicole Smith did.  Old as the hills and hopefully deaf.

One of the best times I have had in the last year was a Mrs. Roper Romp.  Caftans are so freaking comfy!

I immediately thought of Kyle and her love of caftans too. 😂

LVP and Ken used to make fun of her for that.

I think that in the years that Kyle wore a lot of caftan-style clothes, she was very insecure about her body image.  She mostly hid her body in her clothes.  You rarely saw Kyle with just a swimsuit when they were in a beach/pool scene - she was always wearing a cover up (or caftan, LOL!) or something, while other cast members like Camille, Brandi and others were flaunting teeny, tiny bikinis.  When Kyle did wear something more body conscious, she was always tugging and pulling at either the bodice or hem, because the garment was ill-fitting and she seemed uncomfortable about showing so much leg or cleavage.

Kyle spoke about her eating disorder and body dysphoria in the past.  I think since Covid, and her subsequently giving up alcohol and working out like crazy, she's more confident and is okay with wearing more closely fitted clothing.  I also wonder if Kyle may now be working with a stylist who is helping her with her fashion choices.

I am not a fan of caftans, but I did think that Kyle wore them well.  I also think that in the last two years, most of Kyle's fashions seem to suit her and fit her better than in previous seasons.

Now, Kyle seems much more comfortable, both in her own skin and in her clothes.

I don't think Sutton thinks she is better than any of the women. The wallet remark was a veiled threat that if Dorit keeps up her BS she could sue her broke ass and Dorit can't afford the legal fees. She said the one thing that would have a real impact.

Dorit probably thinks that she is better than Sutton, but she's not. And she's been picking on her for years. That's got to stop.

So far the only former Fux Force alliance member who's shown the slightest willingness to stop picking on Sutton, even temporarily, is Kyle. And that's only because Kyle lacks a minion this year.

Speaking of, it was pretty funny to see Garcelle's utter terror at the namecard Ann Marie at the table. If there's one cast member nobody expects to ever see again...

And also makes you realize that some fashion trends should really just stay in the past.  Even with an update, some things are still just as bad as they were back in the day!  These women wear some clothes with oversized shoulder pads that seriously should have been left in the 1980's!

Kyle and Mo should be doing therapy together. I wonder how Mo felt last year when it appeared Kyle was having a fling with Morgan?
Oh please, not Boz and the baby discussion again. Time to make a snack and get a drink.

They did. A few sessions at least. According to Kyle, his unwillingness to engage in it was a sign he wasn't fighting for the marriage as per the After Show.

"Clearly if you want something to work, you have to do the work. And I didn’t see that being done. I think Mau thought, “I’m always nice to you.” And that’s not doing the work. That’s being nice to me. You’re a nice person. I’m the mother of your children. But doing the work, you know, I just don’t know if he has it in him. Or wants to. Not doing the work is what I mean when I say not fighting for the marriage. When it actually did crumble, you know, and we separated, we finally went to therapy but there was an agreement that he would go to therapy on his own, then we’d do therapy together, and I would go on my own. And he just decided not to do that."

21 hours ago, bravofan27 said:

Kyle is grossly fake. I actually am not sure I believe that she and Maurico are breaking up. I think they had legitimate problems, and leveraged that for both of their shows. Now that they have both played out the "divorce" foreplay, they need to either get back together or actually divorce. I see them getting back together, because I think it's all fake, or super inflated for TV.

Mauricio and Morgan and Kyle and all their friends are probably getting stoned around a fire in Aspen right now, laughing about all the money they are making from these stupid storylines.

Mauricio's been in Aspen breaking his clavicle, taking shirtless selfies on hikes, and hanging with PK. Kyle has been in Teddi's hospital room every day (and some overnights) and Morgan's been touring. Kyle talks much more comfortably about inevitability of divorce now.

"I mean, I’m not the first person to get divorced. I mean, people get divorced but like, last week was my twenty-ninth wedding anniversary. I mean, we’re not together but you know, this is a lot of years that we’ve spent together."

"It doesn’t bring me happiness to say my marriage didn’t work out and I’m moving on. But I’m happy that I’m in a place where I can at least say, okay, we should have these conversations. They’re not easy to have but decisions need to be made and I’m clear now."

13 hours ago, hoodooznoodooz said:

Why why why does Kyle continue to use this sour tone of voice with her exceedingly lovable and adorable dogs? Instead of searching the internet or watching YouTube videos, in order to train them, to minimize the behavior that incites her to start bitching about them or at them?!? We only witnessed 12 years of this. How many years has this actually been going on?

Mauricio needs full custody of the dogs.

Her dogs are rescues and she has had training with them. She's literally posted about it on Instagram before.

Off topic but who was that woman who came with Kyle and another housewife whose names escapes me.  And was she wearing the same lemon Caftan as Kathy?

If you're referring to the woman who came with Kyle, that was Jenn. She's one of Kyle's absolute closest friends, works with Teddi, and sometimes helps Kyle out as an assistant with events and things like her Amazon Live.

seriously. Shes stolen Teddy's crown for biggest gnat. And her blonde Ozempic look made her unrecognizable to me.

Sutton's wallet flex was embarrassing. I can't stand Dorit, but telling someone you're better than them because you have more money Is gross, especially in the current economic climate where most of us are struggling financially. Money isn't a measure of your morality or worth and I'm sick of rich people acting like it is. Her stock fell hard for me tonight.

That cavier looked like a turd on a potato.

That was a nasty dig for Sutton to make. It's clear that Dorit is just mad at everything and everyone. And it's also clear that she's jealous that the other women, regardless of their marriage status, aren't worrying about how to pay their electric (and Birkin) bills. If you think about it, all of the women (other than maybe Boz) only have the money they do because of their husbands/ex husbands, none are self made. Kyle will come out fine in a divorce due to the CA 50/50 split, plus it doesn't seem like Mo wants to leave her high and dry. Kathy is rich because of her husband Rick. Jennifer Tilly is rich because her ex husband left her a stake in a bajillion dollar TV show. Until things came crashing down with Tom, Erika always made her living as a trophy wife, and I'm sure she has a new sugar daddy grandpa already. Sutton is rich thanks to her ex husband. Garcelle is probably a 50/50 split between what she gets from her ex husband and what she earns on her own.

This made me laugh. Why does she have a giant cut-out of herself?

Why does Boz have her thumb strategically placed over what is supposed to be herself on the call with Dorit, when it's clearly a white woman with dark blonde hair? Who was Dorit really talking to and why are they trying to pretend like it was Boz?

Why did Dorit have to comment at all .. that’s the thing .. G who is her friend was asking about the alcohol and has never insinuated she has had a problem.. Dorit and Sutton have had an issue so she knew picking up the comment would upset Sutton and did it anyway .. again this is all on Dorit

Exactly. Dorit made the comments on purpose as a dig to Sutton, because she knew it would piss Sutton off. She did it on purpose to start a fight, because Dorit needs the RHOBH job. I think all of her insanity this season is her way of securing her place at least next season. She is like Teresa Giudice in that she actually needs the paycheck to keep the lights on.

I remember when Mauricio started bringing in the big bucks.  There was a shift in Kyle's demeanor.  She wasn't snobby or anything like that, but I felt like she was in the same league with people like Lisa Vanderpump once Mauricio became super successful.  They showed Kyle shopping a lot and buying quite a few expensive handbags at that time.  I don't begrudge her that.  It felt like she & Mauricio were next level kind of wealthy as compared to the early days of the show.

Yes, I remember the change too. Kyle started out owning that she wasn't "the richest girl in Beverly Hills." Her thing was her family. Her identity was always more wife/mother. She lived a very, very nice lifestyle from the beginning, but her money did not compare to an Adrienne Maloof or anything like that.

Dorit is SUCH a jerk. SUCH a jerk. She gets that stupid look on her face when someone calls her out for being a jerk, as if she is the victim when her little smirks and (poorly worded) snide remarks were intended to take her target down a peg. She always underplays things just enough (or so she thinks) to maintain “plausible” deniability, like not wearing a kaftan because she doesn’t like them, but feigning ignorance. Don’t get me wrong, the money comments were base, but I don’t blame Sutton for her ire, and I’m glad she is drawing a line in the sand (though I wish she didn’t stoop to Dorit’s level to do it).

and yes,  Chanel has made caftans  :)

Oh gosh, I'll never forget how much Dorit smugly smirked at Garcelle a few seasons back. She looked beautiful and had on this super cute baby blue ensemble, but her behavior was so off-putting! She really thought she was owning Garcelle, and a smug person in the wrong is the worst.

I get that we can all hurt someone's feelings without meaning to at all. I know I've sone it, but Dorit seems to do this suspiciously often. She has said offensive things to Garcelle several times and acts like she has no idea why any of it could possibly be offensive. I'll admit the child bride comment initially went over my head, but it was yet another example of the self-proclaimed child of the world saying something totally inappropriate.

Then there are these comments that Sutton finds damaging and triggering.

How come with Dorit it's always that she didn't know, that it's the other person's fault, that it's a "joke"?

Also, Dorit is probably the first person to have an issue with what someone shows up wearing. At the top of my head, she's criticized both Kyle and Erika for not being appropriately dressed at events, so it's ironic she was the only one who showed up not wearing a kaftan.

I think when the show has bigger aggressors, I tend to like Dorit, but she's one of the most aggressive cast members this season, and I wish she'd go back to being less engaged. But I guess "activated" Dorit is more likely to keep a job.

I don’t get the feeling Sutton thinks she is better than someone because she has more money. I don’t think she has ever even insinuated that to anyone else.  She said that to Dorit because, besides the fact it is true, it is the one thing that would finally shut Dorit up. Out of everything that could be said to Dorit, calling her out on her fake lifestyle is the most cutting.

I don’t really care about Dorit but damn if there hasn’t been too much sucky Sutton this season. I’m sick of her voice, her snobby commentary, her insults to Dorit, her southern lady bullshit and her overall grossness. She has money because it was worth it to her ex husband to get rid of the asshole. I like how she’s going for Dorit who is more of a talker than a fighter. Someone needs to tell Sutton she’s not that tough. I remember when Erika had her in tears and shaking in her overpriced shoes.

I always think these food events are a waste on the Oh Oh Oh Ozempic crew.

Stop with the Boz and the baby storyline! It’s so stupid and downright gross! I find it amusing that her name is Boz and she dresses like a clown.

Dorit is kind of like Gretchen. Always being picked on by the mean girls, yet desperate to be liked by them. Gretchen attempts at aggressively defending herself also failed.

I will give Dorit credit for being the only one to notice, and be legitimately alarmed (at the fashion faux pas) at Denise's upside-down pink coat gaffe. Which was awesome. Probably the most sincere gesture of kindness Dorit has shown.

imo Dorit has been playing a character since she first determined to reel PJ in - fake voice, cartoonish designer labels, every kind of pretension she could yank out of her butt bag. It’s all just coming to the inevitable end game.

I think the first thing I said about Dorit (here) is that she's a performance artist because everything about her was so over-the-top.

I still think she's over-the-top in a different way now.

Wasn't she the one who told Sutton, when Sutton first came around to treat this like a job, or did Dorit say that to another newer cast member?

Finally watched the episode yesterday after reading many of the comments here.

While I didn't love Sutton's "big wallet" snark, Dorit was simply insufferable with her nastiness and apparent amnesia about just what a horrible person she has been. The whole "she needs a mirror"? Dorit, you are the one who needs it.

No, she never apologized about the drinking allegations--and they were really awful. Glad they replayed the reunion clip to show she never apologized. And her robotic, rote attempt at an apology at the lunch was like a little kid being told to apologize. Not one ounce of sincerity.

And I did wonder a bit if Sutton's "big wallet" snark may have been a veiled suggestion that she could sue Dorit for defamation, as someone earlier in this thread suggested. The allegations Dorit made could have had serious, real world consequences for Sutton and her kids.

I used to be indifferent to Dorit, but in the last couple of seasons, I've found her to be just awful. And she claims to be all about fashion, but it's some weird idea about fashion that is just wearing a lot of labels. To me, it looks cheap even if the price tag was high.

Sadly, she will probably get another season, but this show would be a lot more watchable without her.

Dorit IS a MEAN Girl she might not be Regina George but she is definitely a Gretchen, Gretchen Wieners… she literally was/is in the faux force 5 or whatever they were called ..

did I fall down and smack my head and woke up in some world where this isn’t true?

She literally was/is wants to be in the clique…. Latched on to Kyle ..

Lol no, that's what @bravofan27 said and what I think too. Bravofan nailed it with the Gretchen description. I think Dorit probably was a doormat when it came to Kyle for years because she thought it would be best to be buddies with the anchor and OG of the show. She would much rather be in Fox Force 5 than be friends with Garcelle or Sutton. Now, she probably knows it's good drama for the show to fight with Kyle.

I don't think Dorit is the meanest mean girl Housewife, but no she is hardly a Stephanie Hollman sweetheart type.

Being classest is never a winning hand and I would think Sutton being good friends with a poker player would know this.

I think the money smackdown of Dorit probably has its roots in the fact they are more than aware of Dorit and PK being the griftiest grifters of all of grifterdom but still, not cool.

Dorit is a pretentious asshole and has more than enough terrible traits to call her out on rather than going the "I'm rich and you're not, nyah, nyah, nyah" route.

I mean why is there a hall monitor on how to be petty or how to fight back? So let's get Dorit but do it without the "distasteful" money angle?

Who cares??

Sutton has decided to be a bitch to Dorit cause Dorit deserves it. I find it funny that it can be agreed that Dorit deserves it but then want to scrutinize and micromanage how someone gives it back? It's so weird to me.

Do I like the choice of insult. Nah, not really but it doesn't negate the need for the insult to be slung and that's really the issue here.

I don't like low blows or vicious nastiness and I do eyeroll corny lame comebacks but at the end of the day Sutton deserves to push back on Dorit's ugly targeting of Sutton that's gone on for seasons. Sutton gets a pass from me. Plus she's not the most socially graceful or quick witted so that was her go to. Meh. Big deal..

The classist comment from Sutton was on par with body shaming & a mere small step above an antisemitic or racist insult. Worse that she's doubling down on it. Just gross IMHO.

That it was said to Dorit doesn't at all negate the ugliness so listening to people use that as rationalization/justification is disheartening.

Not sure why everything have to be an either/or situation? Dorit was wrong for her comment on Sutton's drinking AND Sutton was wrong for her extremely classist response (especially since the wealth was not self-made). They're both flawed.

Can we get back to hating on Kyle?

I think Dorit needs at least one friend. Everyone else seems to have cooled on her. Doris is SO angry this season. She is just simmering with rage against PK, which is being projected onto others.

However, I did think Sutton was a bit over the top at the dinner. Let the mouse go.

Whenever they show Kyle reacting to somethign negative, such as the pictures of Mo and the chick, it seems fake to me. It's one of Kyle's performances. I don't believe she is honest when the cameras are on her. I think she's projecting the image she wants to project. It seems that the financial aspect of the insult is rubbing most the wrong way and maybe a bit personally. Not for nothing, Sutton went for the topic that would most likely get under Dorit's skin the most so she's not wrong to use financial status to needle her. You go for what will hit the hardest (outside of viciousness like lets say going after children which is never okay) and I don't like low blows. But honestly, a stupid throw away childish insult about how someone else's pockets doesn't compare is kinda lame and I'm only kinda mad at Sutton cause it wasn't a much better, sharper or clever comeback. I don't think it's for all that but God forbid you use your money of all things to shame someone else. Oh the horror.

Here's the thing, Sutton was going for petty and insulting and maybe even shaming. Hello? since when are there perimeters when it comes to back and forth battle of insults. The whole point is to say something damaging, unfortunately Sutton chose a weak comeback but I think it's being taken waaaaayyy too seriously and too literally.

I also want to add that there is some truth to it. Don't come at me with some prestigious attitude as if you're the Queen of England when you are in the presence of Real Money. Hey, Look, I know that sounds terrible but there's a part of me that understands the frustration. Dorit likes to carry on and try to minimize the status of others USING her labels and mannerism and "Better Than Tho, Look How Affluent I AM" energy and Sutton simply reminded her that she needs to  hang up that act around HER because Suttons the one with the ACTUAL wallet and it isn't some kind of pretense. As distasteful as the "dick measuring" is I think Sutton decided it was finally time to hand out a reality check to Dorit. As "tacky" as it may have seemed it wasn't totally unwarranted or untrue. So there is that.
