Actually I remember that episode and Heather wasn’t mean enough but the poverty row debate  of Gina’s house is just the kind of pettiness I watch this for.

Tamara in the scene near the end when she was having her hair done looked old. It looks like her hair is thinning. I don't know what is happening with her but she is not aging well and she is not that old. She is only 57 but looks so much older.

I suspect Tamra spent quite a bit of time in the sun when she was young. That damage is forever. The thinning hair might be from too many extensions, but it can be hereditary too. Didn't her mother, when she made appearances early in the show, have thinner hair.

Everyone was so happy to see her last season. She thinks that being the meanest girl is her job. She needs to give it to someone else.

Did anyone else notice that during the Jenn/Tamra confrontation, Tamra reacted exactly like Rinna when Rinna would be caught out?  It was like watching a mirror image down to the clapping.  And her commenting that Jenn was finally speaking out.  Shades of Rinna and Eden.  And the same lack of compassion

Heather seems to LOVE having Tamra all to herself and Shannon on the outs. I think last season, when Taylor was a friend, Shannon was all butt hurt because Tamra and Shannon were friends again and she felt left out on their little ranch trip. Heather gave her speech about how people that work on farms and farm work made her appreciate all the people that give her her beautiful life, which, unsurprisingly, triggered Tamra who was out to get her and made every effort to dog Heather at every chance she had. 

Now she has some sort of pact with Alexis and John and is about getting Shannon kicked off the show and Alexis brought in. Which is clearly not working and now she is saying she is autistic to change the story. Heather  is usually  Heathering,  but she's not usually  as mean with it,  but being  with Tamra  is rubbing  off on her. Did Tamra actually  say, all her money she  has she's saving. What about her new face she put all over the internet,  she told Teddi she went to Texas to get  brand new teeth for a new smile. She doesn't  seem  to understand,  no amount  of surgery,  helps what's going on in the inside. That woman  is beyond  nasty, why does she want to spoil the trip for everyone. I like this cast except  for her. God she looked awful  at the end, when Jen( WTG Jen) went to see her, I barely  recognised her. Tamra is only happy, when she's been drinking,  and can take her clothes  off.

I would  like to have seen more of jolly old London,  but just looking  at the fish and chips  made me hungry, just  add a pea fritter.

I liked the costume photos Shannon, Gina , Jen and Emily took.

One can age (and look it) very fast just after menopause. The older women (Tamra, Heather, Shannon) look well, older suddenly within a few years. It's normal, but they are on tv, so it became more obvious to us (we saw all three without makeup, or minimal makeup). Tamra looks like somebody who was out in the sun for many years without sunscreen.

Tamra says that because she is autistic that's why she lacks empathy (at least it's good that she is admitting that she lacks empathy), and it's also why she drinks so much--> because of paralyzing social anxiety (her answer to her drinking problem). 

She claims there are going to be big changes now that she knows. Probably similar to the blink and you miss it major change she made when she was baptized.

Jenn is not jobless! She can buy something for filming if she wants. If Ryan bought it for her, even better. Heather was probably jealous because she looks like a skeleton at this point and wouldn’t look good in that dress. 

I enjoyed Jenn going off on Tamrat as she sat there looking as ugly outside as she is on the inside. This is probably one of the scenes that made Rat decide to fake autism. It is absolutely no wonder why her older daughter wants nothing to do with her. I like how Jenn said she has her kids without coming out and saying unlike you Tamra.  Good for her.

I was not impressed with Tamra and Heather discussing the cost of Jen's dress, or their elitist attitudes sneering while wondering how Gina would know a designer's name.

Tamra's claim of autism is ridiculous. I've tutored many students with various diagnoses, including autism, and her attempt to align with any 'close enough' descriptor is beyond desperate.

Does Eddie have a job? Does his heart allow him to work still? Does Tamra have a real job? Does she actually make any $ on her podcast? What does Heather do on a daily basis? Is Gina starting to sell enough houses to pay her bills? Does Shannon still have side ventures, or are they dissolved? How can Emily fault what Jenn is spending, when she doesn't work herself.

Frankly, I like most of these women, but when Tamra was warning Heather et el, that Jenn is so oblivious, she will be left in the lurch if Ryan were to abandon her, my only thought was, "Puhleese".

I couldn't help but think if we turned the mirror around, every one of them would be devastated if their present partner left, much like Gina & Shannon were in freefall with their divorces. And they obsess about Jenn's $6000 a month support, yet Shannon and Gina were also receiving support, at one time.

Those comments don't make anyone a caring or compassionate friend.

I found it rich that Emily criticized Jenn for buying the dress and commented on Ryan's employment status when neither she or Shane work (despite both having professional degrees) and live off his parents money. 

She needs to take a seat alongside Tamra & Heather. Who are they to wealth shame anyone when they're all earning a salary most people would kill for just for 3 months of work filming this show? 

Tamrat looked like a drowned rat and I loved that Jenn barged in at the moment to tear into her. I might have actually stood & clapped :)

I am not sure that is really true, there has to be a cap on what can be written off, about twenty years ago I worked for a caterer in the sales department, I was required to wear a white shirt and black suit, it was our uniform, they did not furnish us with that outfit, we had to buy it on our own so when tax time came around the CPA told me it was "personal choice" to buy what I bought to wear to work since the company did not offer a uniform for purchase, I really hated that CPA btw.

Jenn running into Tamra's room reminded me when Alex huffed and puffed her way to Luanne in her Herman Munster boots.

Tamra is fully in Lisa Rinna territory and that is not a good place to be.

The double decker bus looked fun however they had no idea what the tour guide was saying but I guess that was not the point of them being upstairs, it is bloody cold up there too!

Shannon has got to stop with the costumes, I'd die of embarrassment if I had to wear a tiara and cape thru the streets of London.

Did they go to Harrod's or Fortnum & Mason's or Oxford Street, Picadilly CIrcus or Buckingham Palace, or Covent Gardens? Idon't remember seeing any of that just them picking at each other, they all do the gossiping and talking about each other, etc... they should all just get over it. 

Gina getting pissy about her house not being worth as much as the others is stupid because it is true! Shannon should feel bad because she rents, lol.

Money doesn’t make you a good person. Even paying all your bills on time doesn’t make you a good person. Having money issues doesn’t make you irresponsible or stupid or unworthy of comforts.

However, counting other people’s money, gossiping about how they spend it, laying down judgments as to how someone should budget their funds, and using someone’s hard time to shame them, well, all those DO make you a bad person. 
 

Everyone would do well to learn that lesson. The reverence of money (and those who have it, like Heather) is astounding. Wealth is the very opposite of a virtue.

I think it stems from Heather's talent for making others feel less than.

Gina's home may be smaller than the others' but at least she lives within her means and is not dependent on someone else to pay her bills or bail her out of debt. Unfortunately her costars prioritize appearances over practicality. She will forever be mocked for having to live in a pool house casita, but she worked her way into a sad little townhouse and got a real job -I'm sorry, but trying to defend Jenn or any of these women by saying they have a real job, meaning the show, is beyond stupid. Everyone knows the show is not a reliable source of income; next season's contract is not guaranteed, these shows are dwindling in viewership, and complete reboots have happened and are being considered with other franchises

All of the women have their own money, and real jobs outside the show, which is a job anyway. Shannon still has active businesses, Emily worked as an attorney for many years, I'm sure Gina earns a lot as a realtor in a high end area, well beyond to cover her expenses, Heather builds and flips houses for millions of dollars with her husband (the last one sold for $55 million), and has businesses like a cosmetic line, a fashion line, and a lot more, Tamra has a successful cannabis related business and a podcast (Eddie is a co-owner of the business, and his heart problem was fixed). None of these women need a guy to support them, and if they were divorced they would be fine by themselves. 

So, no, it's not hypocrisy. Jenn doesn't have a real job (the yoga studio is a vanity business that is not even hers, there are other partners), and she depends on Ryan's income (that she doesn't even know the source of)- she doesn't have a problem with it either.

Kelly and Vicky did an interview where they said they could only write off outfits that were shown ON camera which is why they are much more casual when it is one off scenes versus the all cast scenes where they usually up their game.

I only remember it because Kelly said she paid a ton for an outfit and it was an all cast event and it did not get shown and she would not have purchased it had she known.  Since they and Independent contractors I think it is different than if you work for someone.

Having money issues doesn't make you a bad person, but having money issues because you are (proven to be) immature and irresponsible at 47 with five kids, and depend on a guy with "problems", and no legitimate job kind of does make you a bad person.

So, no, it's not hypocrisy. Jenn doesn't have a real job (the yoga studio is a vanity business that is not even hers, there are other partners), and she depends on Ryan's illegal income- she doesn't have a problem with it either.

Jenn had a terrible divorce lawyer; it sounds to me like her ex used her "guilt" and naivete to get a really good deal.    But it's done, and she got an orange. 

I agree she is in the most precarious position financially, especially since she really doesn't have any skills and has never supported herself.

Caught in what? The "investigation" was asking a realtor friend if Ryan had a mortgage broker license (he doesn’t) two years ago. It was a nice deflection maneuver by Shannon.

Flashback to season 3 when Tamra, Tammy Knickerbocker, and Quinn had a botox social setting at a plastic surgeons office.  Dr told Tamra due to her sun exposure, she had a lot sun damaged skin that would need work and would age her down the line.   Contrast that with Quinn..who was in her 50s and looked closer to 40 then mid 50s.

Jenn has some faults like lousy taste in men and spending money she doesn't have.  Also, wasn't she the one to leave her husband because she wanted excitement with Ryan?  Why should she be rewarded for being selfish?

That said, she is no Gretchen or Alexis.  She pushes back and I think Tamra is thrown by that.

Not all of Jenn's kids are with her. Her older son left to live with his father just after Jenn moved in with Ryan. It was shown a couple of episodes ago.

Yes but he still loves his mom and has a relationship with her. Tamras daughter won’t speak to her and is embarrassed by her and hates her. The daughter that does live with her doesn’t seem to like her very much.

Let's see what he, and the rest of the kids will think of her regarding Ryan's "problems". As for Sophia, she seems to have a good relationship with her mother (they are even on confessionals together, she was on Watch What Happens Live), and she still lives at home while she is attending college.
