Week 2:  4/5 w. * (T, W, Th, F*)

I know I'll be going downhill from here but, YTD: 7/10. (70%) Let me have this moment please! My YTD% for last season was 39%, and I should be heading there shortly. 😄

I will bring Pasta e Ceci to the table. I'm Italian American on my Dad's side. When the clue asked for the alternate name for garbanzo beans, I confidently said ceci. I couldn't think of the word chickpeas. They were always ceci at my house. Ceci pasta, as my Dad referred to it, was one of his favorite dishes, although not mine. I like the look of that perfect medium rare steak and mashed potatoes. 😋

Sadly, my actual steak was a tad more done than intended (mostly because I lost track of time and 7:00 came while I was cooking, so I was trying to pay attention to both Jeopardy and the stove), but it was still pretty good.

Oh, in my stupefaction over getting Friday's FJ correct, I forgot it was an asterisk! So my correct score for this week is 4/5 with the asterisk.

Already there, my friend. You gave me enough info. :)

1/5 with the *

My tomato plant is still producing so I’ll bring a Panzanella salad to the table.

Yum! Mine is too, but they're very small early girls (getting later all the time).

2/5 for me: Fantasia and Do The Right Thing.

It seems only appropriate to bring a big bucket of movie theater popcorn to the table. (With real butter, not that nasty flavored oil.)

Well, now I just have to go down to the store and get some IRL popcorn...thank you! (not sarcastic)

1/5, no *.

I’ll show my age by bringing out one of my five fondue pots, none of which have been used for years.

3/5, including the two movies and a very lucky "*".  Overall, 5/10, 1/3*.

I just gave away my once-used fondue pot on my local Facebook buy-nothing group.  When I pulled it out of the box, I still had the gift receipt from about 12 years ago.  Looks like it found a good home!

Shoot! I went to the store this morning trying to remember what it was I wanted to get that wasn't on the regular list. Should have read the forum first - boo, hiss.

Sorry to be late to the party. Wasn't in much of a party mood anyhow (2 funerals this weekend; both good friends; both unexpected deaths; sorry for the downer post)

2/5 and *

Anybody like greek chicken wings? (lemon; oregano; seasoned salt -> you might be surprised how yummy they are)

No need to apologize. I’m very sorry for your losses. And I would love to join you for some wings. Good food can be very healing.
