I am obsessed with news and a student of both art and art history, and have even been dwelling lately on a theory of another possible reason for Van Gogh's self-surgery and subsequent suicide (skin cancer from being outside so much in the south of France with his red-headed complexion — those straw hats do not offer UV protection).
But that clue did not clue me in.
Maybe fatigue, or I didn't have my hearing aid in, or distraction.
