mojoween January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I would have demanded a kiss on the cheek before I took that Globe from Jon Hamm. When would you ever get that chance again? 9 Link to comment
thuganomics85 January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 (edited) I didn't love Deadpool like I thought I would, but it being along all of these other films does amuse me. Wait, Claire Foy is the lead of The Crown! I remember her from a silly pirate show called Crossbones, with John Malkovich as Blackbeard. Really need to check out that show! Bummed Evan Rachel Wood didn't get it though. Edited January 9, 2017 by thuganomics85 1 Link to comment
sally-can-wait January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Really wanted either Evan Rachel Wood or Keri Russell for that one. 3 Link to comment
galaxygirl76 January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Claire was outstanding in The Crown. 3 Link to comment
DHDancer January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Yay for The Crown. Absolutely great series! Claire Foy is tiny! 4 Link to comment
Avaleigh January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Claire Foy is the only person I can stand seeing win over Keri Russell, so I'm okay with and happy about this one. Good for her. The Crown is the best show on Netflix IMO. 4 Link to comment
Chrissytd January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Claire Foy's dress reminds me of a bad 80s prom dress. 4 Link to comment
ShadowHunter January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I was pulling for either Winona Ryder or Evan Rachel Wood. I like The Americans also so Keri Russell would also have been great. Most of the stuff I watch is not winning lol. 2 Link to comment
jjj January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Guess I need to watch The Crown -- actually looking forward to it. Claire Foy is lovely, and the dress slightly old-fashioned in a good way. 6 Link to comment

His trolling/bromance with Hugh Jackman HAS to lead to a Deadpool/Wolverine movie. They can be shirtless for 2 hours, so we all win. 7 Link to comment

I don't see what's so revolutionary about a movie with pretty white hipsters singing (relatively poorly, by Hollywood standards) about the entertainment capital of the world. I. Don't. Get. It. Boo on Sterling K Brown not winning for OJ. Hollywood people LOVE movies about Hollywood and actors/stardom. They always win tons of awards. I know the Golden Globes are voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press, but I guess the same rule applies. How have I never heard of half these TV shows? I watch a ton of TV, I don't see how I could fit more in my schedule. 3 Link to comment
thuganomics85 January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Man, Game of Thrones was the only drama that wasn't new. Yep, the Globes loved The Crown! 1 Link to comment

sally-can-wait January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I have not seen The Crown but GoT had one of the best episodes of television I had ever seen last season. I would have liked to see it win. 3 Link to comment

And Matt Bomer is my pick in the battle for anything else. I'd stick Bomer between Michael Vartan and Liam Hemsworth as hunks I unabashedly drool over the most. Also, I'd literally stick him between the middle of them as well, that would be deliciously yummy. And Bomer would enjoy the man eye candy as well :D 2 Link to comment

Misslindsey January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I am so glad The Crown won for best drama series. I would have been fine with Game of Thrones or even This is us. I was worried Stranger Things would win, which is a series I thought I would have loved but was disappointed in it. Yes I am the only person who did not love Stranger Things. 2 Link to comment

Negritude January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Winona Ryder was nominated? I thought she was terrible. Eleven gave the most standout performance in that series by far (and Barb). 6 Link to comment

DHDancer January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 (edited) Oh the French Lieutenant's Woman! How long ago was that!! I just love Meryl's body of work, with my fave being Julia Child I think. But seeing all those clips reminds me just how many great roles she's played and how many of her films I've enjoyed. Edited January 9, 2017 by DHDancer 5 Link to comment

mojoween January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 I'm pretty sure the only Meryl movies I've ever seen are "The Devil Wears Prada" and that one where Julia Roberts was her daughter. I think I might have seen "Doubt" too. I'm not a very good movie fan. I watch a lot of blockbusters and sequels though! 4 Link to comment
