“Lacifer”, good one Brandon.

Rodney handled the break up as best as could be expected, as well as the rest of the guys, I wasn’t expecting them to be as compassionate towards her as they were. This feels like the 1st breakup in paradise where no one came out of it looking like the jerk.

Look at all these guys playing right reasons Bachelor. And the new guys have had no game so far whatsoever. They’re giving me no fodder to snark on. I guess we have to keep Jill and Genevieve for that. 

Wow they didn’t even give rick and olu a shot with any of the new girls. Guess they had to do it so there’s not an equal number of guys and girls without bringing in new people which would be too much for all the changes made in this round.

Okay, now we know why they let Lace come: So she can tell the guys they have new guys! The producers thought the guys would go wild having the upper hand, but more than half are waiting it out—just like the women are. The OGs thought we just need to be on our best behavior and collect our women. But now they—okay, Brandon specifically—are spiraling just like the women!

In her original BiP season she left with a guy named Grant.  I can’t remember if they got engaged, but the did get matching “Grace” tattoos while still on the show.  

Now Logan is interested in Katie?  How does he decide what to eat for breakfast?  The guy always sees the grass is always greener.

There is no reason other than the fact that all the guys are staying loyal, so Jacob and Logan are the only two chances to stay in Paradise. Last episode Kate was basically saying Jacob is a means to a rose. But if you’re stuck pretending for 24-hours a day, maybe Logan is less repulsive. This woman also just seems like she’s here to stir up trouble! Does anyone know who she is? I have absolutely no recollection of her. As for Logan, well, this checks out! Of course he’ll jump at the chance for a new option. This is what he does!! (I got behind on the show, so not up to the date yet.)

I don’t understand Shanae at all. It’s perfectly fine for her to go from man to man to man—and always have two on rotation at any given time. But god forbid one of them is interested in someone else… I thought Logan was your soulmate (of the day); leave poor Tyler and Brittany alone.

Alex is mighty dreamy. I’m not sure how I missed him on Rachel’s season. Though, he does look similar to her husband, so I probably just never realized they weren’t the same person at the time.

I couldn't care less about Logan and the woman that he is dating (I don't even know her name), but I have to admit Victoria and Alex are interesting.  I can't believe she likes Johnny that much.  He's every woman's dream?  Seriously?  have we seen anything to indicate what that means, how that's true?

Logan had trouble deciding between Rachel and Gabby, then he left the Bachelorette. There was a rumor that he was flirting with a staff member, or someone on that cruise ship.  All the women need to steer clear of him, he can't stay with one woman for more than ten minutes.

Alex looks like that, speaks Russian, and used the words "elated" "palpable" and "archetype" correctly in about two minutes of conversation. Why is he here?! He is too good for everyone on this show.

I totalllllly agree.  Rodney is even dreamier now than he was on Michelle's season.  He handled it perfectly.

Especially if you compare him to Jacob, whose main accomplishment is that he's "mastered breathing air."

This season has really been dragging for me. Does anyone know how many weeks are left to go?

According to Wikipedia until Nov 22. 

Same. The time of year it’s being run is a bit odd to me, too. Crazy antics on end of summer tv is amusing. Not as enjoyable this time of the year. I watch about every 2 or 3 episodes and even then only parts.

The guys were great, i think they understood that Lace is very fragile. It was hard not to feel for her. Who knows if it would have lasted, but the way that happened was sad

Victoria agreed to see where things with Alex went, because she does have some red flags about Johnny (like how Alex is an adult hunk and Johnny is barely old enough to rent a car, and told Gabby like 3 weeks earlier he wasn't ready for marriage).  Then it pivoted to a very odd sequence involving Brittany, Tyler, Genevieve, and Shanae.

Basically, Shanae is pissed that Brittany might have stolen her Jersey chew toy which was keeping her entertained until she can get back to the beach and get dumped by Logan. (Genevieve is helping to gather evidence, and Tyler is happy to obliviously suck on Brittany's face.)

None of these people should be allowed within 100 yards of each other.

I have never seen anyone generate more cliches in a row than Kate.  She was like a terrible stand up comedienne at one point.  She and Logan are both dull as dirt and may well be happy together.

Because this “twist” was so poorly thought out.  I’d be surprised to see it again in its current form.

I think they were trying the twist to see if it would make it more interesting, but as usual their cast is dull as dishwater, so it didn't work, lol.  I agree with you.  I also think they will have to do something different to keep it going as it has lost a lot of momentum over the years.  So they will try something else to keep it alive.

I think a lot of the guys on the beach seem like really nice guys.  They were all so nice and supportive to Lace.  Almost all of them  were really nice to her and also spoke nicely about her after she was gone.  Johnny & Aaron are coming across as really nice guys with some of their comments. I had previously thought Aaron was just a meathead jerk but he’s changing my opinion.  
 

I don’t think Johnny and Victoria  are at all a match.  He just seems like a hometown boy you’d meet at your local bar and she is all about the glam.   She’s going after Alex because that’s what she usually dates.  Clearly what you usually date isn’t working for you Victoria.   She knows Johnny is the type of guy she should date but she wants some eye candy on her arm.  
 

I like a Tyler and Brittany together.

Maybe Logan is just not very bright. He seems to be easily distracted by the next new shiny toy. Could his behavior even be related to some type of attention deficit disorder? It seems like something more than or beyond a 'player's' mentality. Shanae's behavior has been similar but we can see she is sampling men to find the one with the most clout! I've lost track of how many people these two have hooked up with but I think it must be record numbers for BiP.

I agree.  The whole point of the twist was to create conflict and drama at the reunions.  Since neither of them would do that by escorting one of the “girls” back there was no point as part of the producers strategy to create as much angst as possible.

This is the same situation as the double bachelorette - that was poorly thought out as well. And I agree the cast for the most part is way too dull. I'm having trouble getting though the episodes each week now.
This twist was a huge disaster...I think it was so bad that it appeared cruel and abusive. And it was a waste of time. Nothing positive nor exciting came out of it. It looks like Tyler is the only one who gets integrated into the group and they could have just brought him on to the beach in the regular manner. This was certainly a waste of time for the other new men.

It looks like they are having trouble casting for this show in recent years. This season will make that worse going forward now. Who is going to want to go on the show when you might get forced into something as horrible as being torn away from the person you have developed a relationship with and sent away to stew while they are tempted with new options? Who wants to be humiliated and made a complete fool of on national TV? Who wants to go on a show if chances are the editing ends up making the public dislike you? And word is out about the crab-infested, hot as hell facilities.

I hope they make big changes to this show and turn it into something similar to Bachelor Pad with weekly contests but no overall grand final prize. And I hope they find a new location. This season was so bad that the cast has been speaking out on social media. I don't think we've ever seen that before.

Agree. I don't think she's that into Logan. I think she just wants to stay on TV. 

Hard to believe Tyler is 5'10". He looks much shorter. Wonder if he fudged a little.

Alex is a hunk and seems smart and sweet! 

This season is missing something but I'm not sure what it is.
