Okay, so I used to think Frank and Dolo were kind of cute—him bunking with his ex wife and their grown kids—and I still like both of them in their ways, but hearing Frank just describe watching TV in the evening with David and his new woman?? So Frank is the couch surfer/house guest that you can’t get rid of.  I have an ex-bf like that— drove my BFF and other roommate nuts.  I’m just getting loser vibes from Frank lately, but for some reason, goddamit, I still find him endearing!

Why can't Margaret let anyone finish a fucking sentence or thought?  She is answering for everyone, constantly interrupting and then gets mad when someone interrupts her, to actually answer the question that was asked!!!

Are you sure you aren't talking about Jennifer?

I hope since Delores has a new boy friend Frank is cut from the show.

Louie lost his job because of the show.  Guess he’s ready for a spin off with Tree and the girls.

I am pretty sure it might have something to do with his business practices and maybe his earnings for the company may have declined and add in this shit show and all the times he has had to defend his own behavior...in combination probably because if he was earning a lot of money for the company they might have turned a blind eye to the HW nonsense.

Teresa rolling her eyes Everytime someone speaks.  What’s her problem?  She looks like she is done with the show that made her millions.  She’s putting too much faith into Louie thinking it will last forever.  Seems like they all hate one another tonight.  Jen just doesn’t shut up.  Everything is coming out in the wash, lol.

I just looked at it as her going insane in the membrane, because Andy told them to stop talking over each other, and every time someone mentioned something she could relate to in any way (i.e. Jennifer mentioning her kids being hurt by Marge), it was making her crazy to bite her tongue and not cut off what another hw was saying.  She is a fucking narcissist, and only how Tre feels about any given situation ever matters to Tre.  The hamster wheel—as you so hilariously put it— is because she finds it physically hard to not cut off someone else’s feelings.  She wants to interrupt with her own nonsensical narrative.  Ughh!! Sorry I’m getting all worked up now.  Teresa is just such a ridiculous human.

Omg I’ve been talking shit about the set they have for this reunion—it’s based upon a trip they had through the season to Nashville?  Other trips on franchises have been to beautiful destinations, of which they don’t t base a reunion theme!  Mr. Bones doesn’t usually pay much attention to howives, but just walked in and asked if this was the real Steakhouse Wives?  😂

  • LOL 15

I cannot believe that Andy did not ask for an example, when Tre said that “yes”, she has once changed her opinion later on, after thinking about a situation on her own time.  Wow, Andy.  You really dropped the ball on that one.  He asked the question but didn’t follow through.  When have you ever done that, instead of holding a grudge, Tre?  Andy just kisses the asses of the Guidices/Gorgas because he knows where the NJ bread is buttered!

I’m just so surprised at all the boobage shown on all these women young and older.  Boobage down to their waists.  It might look good on a twenty year old, but women at this age, not so much.  In my day, ( when Broadway was a prairie) we wore “boatneck beautiful dresses.  Not a boobage to be shown.  Delores, although looks great, is a bit much when dressed up.  Just my opinion.  Teresa boobs look very fake when shown.  Like two hard baseballs.

The ONLY situation that I could possibly think of that Teresa changed direction/opinion, was with Danielle.  That obviously was a bad choice of change of opinion, because Danielle completely fucked Teresa over the last time she was on the show.

Teresa was horrible this season and especially during the Reunion.  I have NEVER seen anyone so thick-headed and stubborn and not willing to listen to anyone!  I can't even figure out what goes on in that tiny brain of hers.  It's really like trying to reason with a three year old - it's completely impossible.  She decided that Margaret was going to be her enemy this season and she ran to the finish line with that.

Even creepy Louie understood and explained and forgave Margaret.  I can't freakin' stand Margaret, but Teresa took this whole thing way too far.

If Teresa would have just let Louie speak to this whole mess in the beginning, none of this stupid storyline would have even happened.

Where’s Tiki and wife ?  My husband was listening to him on his radio show today.  I don’t think he liked being on the show.

I was wondering the same -didn't we see preview pictures of Tiki's wife before the reunion shows aired?  Could she have been soooo boring that they even edited her out of the reunion show?   🤣

I probably should put this in th WWHL thread but it recorded with the Jersey reunion, I'll add it here.

I found it very odd that when Andy asked all the men to name one thing they love about their women,  that Evan said he loves Jackie's spunkieness(?). Then qualified it by saying "I lived in Argentina so I like that" . It felt strange to me.

I can't figure out Luis.  Is he so sure he has Teresa wrapped up that he's willing to make nice with Margaret? Teresa didnt even want him shaking Joe B's hand.  I would think he'd go along with her craziness but maybe Luis is better at running the long con than I thought. I only say this because Teresa is a lunatic and any man stable enough to put dumb shit aside would not be with this woman. So, I'm watching Luis very very close.

  • Love 7

I just can't build up the bad feelings for Luis that many seem to have. He has been nothing but well thought out and calm whenever I have seen him. Unless proven otherwise I will give him the benefit of a doubt.

Can't believe how.aggravated Andy got but it must be so.frustrating when everyone is.screaming.

WWHL records too when I record NJ. Last nights ep.was.hysterical featuring the husbands.

Teresa does not possess one single redeeming quality. I don't get what Luis can possibly see in her.

I thought Andy's head was going to explode when he couldn't get Tre and Marge to shut the hell up. Comedy gold right there.

This is why I side eye Luis. Teresa is a horrible person.  If he truly is this wonderful zen person now. (I'm not going by his past rumors ) why would a person like that want to be around Teresa? Teresa can say he'd never seen this side of her , sure Jan.  Are we supposed to believe that luis never watched or stumbled across one episode of Jersey or the table flip heard around Jersey?

P.S. Sex and the City is Louie’s favorite show?  That’s a red flag in itself.  I love that show, but if it was my husband’s favorite?  Sorry, that would just be weird.

Ha!  My wife had the same comment.  It was a good NYC show (and I randomly knew one of the late-season writers) for a very fun era, but favorite's a bit strange for this particular crowd.

But.  There's also some kind of trouble there with that reaction, IMO.

As this (RHoNJ) group is pretty stereotypical, heteronormative, and just plain basic it does come across as "wrong" and "red flag".  However, to get all down on someone for liking quality television because of the main characters' sex is actually buying into some pretty lame sex role expectations.  Does anyone get down on a woman if their favorite show is something similarly male-oriented?  Peaky Blinders?  Rescue Me?  Sons of Anarchy?  Probably if Louie wasn't so goddamned creepy in a million other ways it would be less weird.  But that plus all the crappy fake testosterone cultural garbage does make it stick out like a sore thumb.

(Honestly, he probably just said at some point once "oh, I like that show" and that was it for Teresa's simple brain.  "OMG HIS FAVORITE SHOW".)

Oh he knows exactly who Teresa was prior to stalking her, he has a penchant for toxic relationships.

Somehow I knew he was suddenly going to be unemployed and live off of Teresa for as long as he can and she will make excuses why he is not working.

As far as the rumor from an ex about wanting sex 4 times a day, I do not doubt it but Teresa is receptive to so win win, it's not like he does not have the time, lol.  Teresa's love language is sex, having sex with someone proves it is love, she may be mistaken with Looie.

I truly would not be surprised if Teresa and Luis don't make it to the altar.

The thing is, she'd have something of a legitimate argument if she said, "Margaret, you talking about the rumors are giving them legitimacy and I'd appreciate it if you stopped." But her insistence that Margaret was talking to the ex-girlfriends, that Margaret was the one putting the rumors are out there, that Margaret just wanted to ruin her "love bubble" just shows her to be the narcissist she is.

A narcissist always needs an enemy, Marge is Teresa's target/enemy and nothing anyone says will make her veer from that.

It is interesting that Teresa is not going after Looie's ex's for putting out all the dirty detail but I guess a narcissist hears what they want to hear and believes what they want to believe no matter what.

She did say she'd never divorce Joe. But, money and perceived fame were involved, so I'm not sure that counts, because Teresa's ego know no bounds.

I thought that I may get a little pushback on that comment, because it was a bit sexist on my part, but I do appreciate the good-natured attitude of your reply, and it does make me feel better that your wife had a similar reaction.  TBH, I was a little buzzed, and on a roll when I posted it, so I do apologize if it was offensive to anyone.  Louie just didn't strike me as the "Carrie Bradshaw is my spirit animal" type.  😄

Also, I do tend to agree with your last statement, that "Favorite" may have been a bit of an exaggeration, on Tre's part.  Either way, as you summarized, people do like what shows they like, and shouldn't have to be shamed, I just found it kind of surprising for that to be his "favorite".  Maybe "red flag" was the wrong term for me to have used.

I agree with everyone who has already posted that Teresa is a friggin' moron.  I've said it (sort of) before, but it pains me that she's rich -- not because she comes from a family with money, or married into money, or -- God forbid -- has any kind of inherent valuable talents -- but instead because we watch her on TV.  She's rich because of us.  🙄

Some additional random thoughts:

I was thrilled that Gia wasn't there.  I have no interest in seeing her get a bigger platform on the RHONJ.

I think it's odd that they didn't have Traci (had to look up her name) and Tiki on at all.  She was there for all of this; you would think she would have at least warranted a tiny segment at the reunion.  My guess is that Tiki wasn't going to show up to the reunion, so Andy/Bravo figured what's the point?

My take on Luis mentioning that he had lost his job was that it was coming from a place of "see, I've already been punished more than enough, so everyone take it easy on me in the future."

Melissa's face filter got a little bit wonky near the end...  she couldn't help the expressions that were crossing her face when Teresa was rambling on about how she changes her mind on things.  Gotta love Teresa's minion, Jen, though piping up to confirm it's true.  Well, if Jen says so, case closed.  Good Lord.

Wasn't Dolores and Frank's son working for Louie? And wasn't he a Real Eatate Agent? They are on commission. If he lost his job it wasn't because of this show. Even if the publicity hurt him with some people, others would be drawn to the "fame". Something fishy there too, I bet. Teresa has always been horrible, but she has actually managed to get worse. She is just vile.

  • Love 11

I think Luis has finally met his match. His asides to her that she was making herself look bad and his pleas for her to behave were met with Tre’s patented unawareness and noncompliance. When this relationship self-destructs it’s gonna be Tre at the wheel of the bus not Luis. He’s gonna rue the day he ever latched on to that hair-trigger, narcissistic moron.
