He'd be decent looking without the muskrat on top, and he seems to have a twinkle in his eye, especially when discussing Lisa. Somehow, I don't think he's taking this as seriously as say, Flapjack Scott did. Also, he's nice to his old cat. OTOH, there's all the sex talk. He cherishes his elderly cat and it always speaks well for a man who has a supportive peer group of friends. I believe he likes to think he's channeling Hugh Hefner, which explains the colorful velvety jackets and his reluctance to show everyone his true hairline. Also the twinkly mischievous bad boy hypersexuality. I'm sure he's showing off for his senior men friends, but I bet the producers are encouraging all that inappropriate naughty talk, too. Who doesn't have an Uncle Stan? I kind of hate to see this Lisa person pill-crush his heart to dust. He and his foolish hairpiece don't deserve that. I'm also feeling a little bit protective of idiot Daonte. I think if Nicolle's going to take his thousand dollars and all the gifts, she ought to toss him a tumble. I clocked that vibe from Brittany immediately, and I’m guessing she also thought she’d have a leg up with Ray if she has the money in the relationship. Ray doesn’t need her if he has his family’s support, both materially and emotionally, and she wants to be needed. Ray has more support than Brittany does at this point since Brittany’s family isn’t about it. Ray’s grandmother asking why Brittany didn’t have a man on the outside if she had so much going for her had me howling. Courtney weeping about how she just wanted to matter to someone was a lot. I wasn’t surprised to hear about her abuse; three marriages before 30 made me think she was desperate for someone to love her and she likely wants to feel protected since she wasn’t as a child. She needs help, and I don’t mean that unkindly. Daonte is getting TAKEN. “Thanks for the stack, I’ll see you when I see you.” Yikes. If she doesn't intend to sleep with him, she really shouldn't lead him on. Daonte doesn't strike me as the type to just go away. I don't believe this is going to end well. The joke is on Britney. Miss Save-a-Convict thought she was going to be Ray's savior. Only, he appears to come from a middle class family and has plenty of support. Doug will be in prison within 40 days, I think the real question is whether or not he is going to beat the shit out of Rachel before he gets there. He is angrily demanding a new PO, and I'll bet his big talk is nothing but a whimper when he gets in front of the PO. Doug is much more likely to take his anger out on his easy victim. 2. Also, I don't care how tall Doug is, he is ugly. He looked decent in his booking photo, but on the show, hard pass. 3. Brittney is very clearly worried that she is going to lose her leverage on Ray, since his family actually has money and she can't hold it over his head. 4. Good on Ray Sr. for insisting on picking up his son. He probably wants to make sure that he walks the straight and narrow and isn't trying to violate his parole before he even gets home by stopping off at 10 different places. Ray Sr. didn't even looked mildly impressed with Brittney or her tee-shirts 5. Does someone have a grandmother who looks fairly healthy and isn't wearing outlandish metallic makeup and a dollar bin wig? Whats up with that! 6. But at the same time, I was annoyed when Josh was trying to ask her what she wanted him to do, or what her goals were for them and she made a joke out of it. But then in the confessional she made it very clear that she needed to see him put in some effort. Like, don't make a joke when he asks you what your expectations are and then get mad when he doesn't meet them. He isn't a mind reader, tell him what you expect if that is what he is asking.
