Rob is super creepy. I cringed whenever he opened his meth faced looking mouth. Just such a weirdo. And I agree with Aisha about his sharp face features not being attractive.

Rob is attractive but it depends on how is hair is styled. I just wish he would OPEN his mouth when he speaks!!!

Overall, I didn't really like this season - it was too much like a Real Housewives show with all the drama!  This seems to happen with every Bravo show - the longer the show is on, the more producer-manipulated drama.  This show doesn't need that - with all the different personalities sharing close quarters and the general stress of the season, we don't need all the other manufactured stuff (situation with Hannah, specifically, which was sooo wrong on soooo many levels).

I thought I was watching Vanderpump Rules At Sea for a moment.

Please explain what is so attractive about Rob? He's got the personality of a wet paper bag. He was creepy from the get go. He’s definitely got a dissociative personality. I'd laugh in his face if he pulled out the lines,  “You’re soulful” or “ You make me feel seen, I've never felt seen before” (gag)  You’d have to be a fairly naive person to fall for that.

I see he is scammer too. What a loser.  He's named well tho. Robs women of their money and self worth.

I do think Jess is beautiful but very needy and serious. I wouldn’t want to be around someone so self absorbed with her “partner” of 3 weeks.

Bugs impressed me with her energy and positive attitude. She leads well. Hannah was more about being the boss whereas Bugs was about being a leader and teacher.

Sandy is just ugh. I was hopeful at first to see a female Captain, but Sandy rules with her ego and her emotions. Shes a very mixed up, damaged person who happens to have a position of power. In another industry, she'd be called out for harassment and inappropriate behavior with her staff. Can you imagine if Captain Lee told his staff that he loved them? Or demanded hugs from them?

I can’t seem to copy the link but there’s an instagram account about Rob and how he takes women’s money then ghosts them.

below_rob_westergaard

Someone came for him with receipts!

I was reading some of the posts. Why do people send money to people they don’t really know? That is a huge red flag. It would be simpler to hire a male escort. Or head to the bar and bring someone home for free. Read some bad poetry together and the bang. That's basically  what you get with Rob.  He isn't that special. Besides, if he can't pay his own way, then toodles.

The biggest takeaway I took from this episode was:  where is Pete?  How did they manage to erase him from the tip meeting and final dinner?

Second takeaway was wondering why Malia couldn't be bothered to hang out in the galley to help Kiko but somehow had all the time in the world to assist Tom.

Sandy should have given Malia a certificate for being the best chef #2/sous chef on the boat.   I guess she was a decent to good bosun  -- when she was actually being a bosun.  Once Tom arrived, she was always in the galley.

Even if their relationship wasn't totally toxic, Rob had already told the engineer guy (Dave?) that he was going to do the crossing.  So he shouldn't have gone back on his word, if nothing else.

Aesha is probably a great stew because she's generally happy and excited but she's always SO happy and excited over everything, I'd probably want to smack her if I actually had to work with her.

Bugsy is a great chief stew.  She's always pleasant to the guests, always smiling, she's encouraging with her crew and gets stuff done.   She should hang on to Alex.

I did laugh over hearing that Malia and Tom broke up.  Karma's a bitch, isn't it, Malia?

While he wasn’t a highlight and he wasn’t shown speaking you could definitely see him throughout the final night multiple times, if I had done the drinking game where you take a shot every time he is seen I would have probably gotten wasted doing that many shots so closely together. Editors are magical which is why these shows don’t need to be actually scripted because a story can be crafted in many ways.

Am I the only one that thinks Jess is not beautiful? Maybe it’s her ugly personality or neediness that makes her more unattractive to me. Rob is no prize either, but he dodged the proverbial bullet dumping this cauldron of turbulence!

The producers clearly edited the show thinking the audience was going to love Malia. She got the "last to leave" spot along with Tom and one of the last talking heads. I bet they actually thought we would all be like, "You go, girl!" when she talked about inspiring women.   Sorry, Bravo. Not happening.

The producers, Sandy and Malia ruined this show.

Karma?  Was she even remotely involved in anyone else's relationship drama?

Actually, Hannah's apparently in relationship heaven now, she probably helped that one.

Malia may almost have gotten away with it if she hadn’t had that short span during which she got Sandy to ok the room changes and then tattled about Hannah’s “drugs” when Hannah gave pushback re the room change.

Sandy is embarrassing. I think she was trying to channel Kate’s epic font talking head but the stupid certificates were beyond lame.

No, not their relationship drama, just their mental health issues.

This came up with Mrs. Juice last night. You just know about 70% of these fools do not account for the tax on that revenue, number one, and number two, none of them seem to be the type to like save it or do anything smart with it. Prime example, Sally Sourpuss and The Introspector are planning a trip to Bali. You know they are blowing 3K easily there. I guess you do a job like that for the adventure, and, at least according to these casts we've seen, because you have a hole inside you that you're desperate to fill with bad relationships and over-medicating with alcohol.

An interesting Daily Mail article:   "Tears, tantrums and tragedies Below Deck: SIAN BOYLE exposes the seedy reality of superyacht crews being overworked, abused and facing mortal danger while chasing tips from spoilt guests featured in new TV series"

No, she’s ugly. She may have been pretty nice but now she just gross.

Some Math:

At $14,000 for six weeks work @ 6 days/week for 16 hrs/day comes to about $25/hour.

When Sandy (and Bravo) was recapping how much they made, Sandy said something to the effect that a wise way of spending it would be to put it on a down payment for a house. I don’t know where Sandy lives, but you won’t get much for 140k on the coast of Florida if they want to continue their yachting careers.

Also, given that she recently bought a run down fire house nowhere near the water to turn into a “yacht themed” restaurant despite having absolutely no experience at a time of huge turmoil in the restaurant industry, I would not take her advice on what to do with my money.

No but she had a tantrum meltdown when Hannah didn’t want to switch rooms because, you know, she and her One True Love just HAD to share a cabin. And many (myself included) believe that spat was the impetus for her going into Hannah’s purse, taking out the Valium and pen, photographing them and sending them to Sandy.

I am no Hannah apologist—she had her issues for sure. And is Bugsy a better and more efficient chief stew? Yes. But the way that whole Firing situation went down was messed up beyond belief. And yeah. Malia’s obsession with Tom has a whole heck of a lot to do with it.

- shrug -

I actually think that Hannah throwing a mopey hissy fit because of Bugsy being hired was childish.  "Suffer, couple, you aren't as important as my hurt feelings".  I truly think that the proper thing to do was to be annoyed, but to not allow a serious relationship to room together because of her own bitchiness makes her the smaller person IMO.

Honestly, the whole Rob and Jess thing was the problem.  There was NO reason THEY had to live together.

I also felt that Malia only cared about “doing her job” and reporting Hannah when there was a chance she wouldn’t get to bunk with her lover. She didn’t give a rats ass about the Valium before when Hannah had a panic attack. Malia was a trollop in an earlier season being a tease and flirt with the chef and a deckhand. She’s still just about a man. I didn’t buy any of that girl power crap, she was a terrible bosun! Sandy is a horrible captain. The guy from season 1 was much more professional. It’s time Bravo axes Captain Sandy.

I'd have to consult the tape.  I don't remember this being said by Bugsy.  (Which is not to say it wasn't, I simply don't remember.)

Malia made a right old arse of herself this season (and her first season too but I don’t want to delve into that too much). And, in my opinion, it was mostly because she seemed to think that she and Tom were some kind of amazing, untouchable Motor Yacht Power Couple who deserved special treatment and unearned reverence. In addition to the fiasco with Hannah, she badmouthed Kiko’s cooking, yet never stepped foot in the galley to lend him a hand. But somehow, she miraculously managed to become the boat’s unofficial sous chef when Tom was whining... errr, I mean, cooking.. in the kitchen.

These are just a few of the reasons that some people may be indulging in a bit of Schadenfreude when the news of her and Tom’s tragic uncoupling was made public.

Bugsy agreed with Hannah that them rooming together would not be a good idea.

She also said she didn't want to room with Hanna during dinner the night before, but you know there were a number of hours in between so they all forgot she said it.

I could not believe her.  So needy, so toxic and in such a short amount of time.  You can't do a "hit and run" and then expect it to turn into a meet-cute.

Exactly.  Not to bright that one.  He could have completed some sea miles and gotten his next certification and bridge time.  IDIOT.
