I have been listening to some podcasts and they often talk about Karla's dad.  They seem to think he has some suspicious business dealings.  Karla has money from her dad because of this.  

I also heard that old girlfriends of David's have done some talking on social media.  They all seem to think he is a nice guy and they like him.  But.... he is never faithful.  He is suppose to be quite the player.  His one ex girlfriend said he would never be faithful whether he is married or not.  He loves the women and will always cheat.

Jasmine from the Nashville season posted to her Instagram that she got engaged. She was always coy about this guy and never posted him to her social media, but looks like he turned out to be the real deal. :)

He probably has no desire to be married and did the show to get himself out there. Yes he’s in terrific shape but it’s too bad he got a spot on the show.

Yikes! I'm embarrassed for him. He's handsome, but then he opens his mouth. Same deal with Karla. She's beautiful but has such a flat affect and no sparkle. Both a little too in love with themselves.

@Crashcourse, that was my same reaction to hearing she was engaged. I think she must have known him before the show and then after she was matched with Ick-man, she decided she was better off on her own! Ick hates her because she isn't impressed with him or his condescending way.

I thought I read that this was shot in September 2023. If that is the case, she has had plenty of time to finish shooting, dump the Ick, date a new guy and get engaged.

If that was the case, then it's strange that they would show it as a preview for an upcoming episode, instead of MAFS Where Are They Now? later.

Yeah, Google tells me Season 18 MAFS began production in March 2023. But that might include all of the casting/matching and maybe filming wrapped up by September 2023. And maybe Ikeche left by August 2023, lol.  But agreed that that’s plenty of time for Emem to find someone else and get engaged by now. Bravo shows film about 8 months before airing. MAFS seems to be over a year between filming and airing. It’s kind of crazy that these people are expected to hide their personal lives for so long. Well, not Bravo. We wait for everything we’ve seen on social media and the gossip rags to play out on the show, lol. But all of the dating/marriage shows have to hide their spouse and/or any other relationships for several months to a year or more.

There were many comments about this season being so delayed from the last one. I thought they were trying to fix it since they knew were heading in as bad a place as they were at the end of last horrible season. Maybe they fixed it the best they could, or figured that we had waited for so long, we would be happy with ANYTHING? That would be wrong and wrong.

I am just shocked that this program actually had a successful pairing, but of course, it was not on the show or any of the show's couples

Madison & David were recently spotted together at Target. Meanwhile the show was filmed a year ago. Also, Allen was liking Michelle's Instagram posts.

OMG. This recapper is hilarious. “David, you need to write a letter to your 34 and a half-year-old younger self and say when you turn 35, don’t lie to your TV wife about sexting.” The photos and the re-enactments of dialogue took me out.

As for the spoiler, I wonder whether they’ve been together all this time or show stuff got them talking again? I can see why Madison and David—and even Allen and Michelle—would have been better matches in the first place.

I don't think they're a fit as Michelle was very clear at the beginning that she kind of likes the 'bad boy' who is stylish (but David wasn't her idea of a 'bad boy').  Allen's quirky style and humor would rub her the wrong way I think.  She has a very defined image of herself and doesn't seem open to expanding her perspective/world view.

He seems to have a well paying job and he owns his own condo, so THAT she would like...

I do not worry for Allen as after this show there are many women who find delight in a bit of quirky.

I can't imagine any reason to ever go on a second date with Ikechi, much less invest two years in him. Maybe it was a FWB situation? Or since I can't really see him getting the "F" part of that, just a hookup? His personality is just so horrible...
