I think Kenny and Armando should have been on a separate show. Their story seems genuine and they seem like real humans. Their story feels the most organic Like the first seasons. They try to edit them like the other caricatures of humans we get these days. Their scenes feel like a different show.

Why can’t Kenny lay off and just allow Armando to handle the stuff with his family the way he wants. Why so controlling?  I find that intolerable.  From the way Armando looks, I don’t think he will tolerate it for long.  Once a person starts bossing you around, they get worse, unless you shut it down.

They would have stared at whoever Armando brought, male or female, especially if that person didn’t bother learning the language of their adopted country.

I learned some common Russian phrases when I traveled there. I cannot believe Kenny didn’t learn some basic Spanish, how ignorant and dare I say intolerant to not learn at least a few key words.

I can read French, German, Italian, and Spanish reasonably well. I can understand a lot of spoken Spanish and German and a bit Of French. I could hold a basic conversation in Spanish and German. Ironically, I studied french the most but its hard.

I used to get cigarettes at a drugstore near my work, 55 cents a pack or two for a dollar.

Maybe making the announcement in front of the whole family was a bit much.   They should have told her first.  
 

eta... and it is usual to introduce the boyfriend or girlfriend and get to know them before an engagement.   Even in a straight relationship, a kid bringing someone home and announcing they were engaged would be shocking.
