By God, Michael. Maybe take some time to discuss how to tell Wiley he was switched at birth? Maybe give Lucas a head's up? Maybe talk to a professional?

That was so out of the blue. It didn't sound as if Michael had talked to Willow about it in any extensive way, either. It's not just his decision.  And maybe Lucas would want to be there to answer any questions. UGH. I hate everything that has to do with Wiley. I cracked up at his reaction, though: "Whatever. Can we go boating?" What did Michael and Willow expect, Wiley falling to the floor and wailing that he doesn't know who he is now? He's not Nicolas Bechtel–era young Spencer, thank Jasus.

It was so strange.  When Willow suggested and Michael agreed to tell Wiley I thought they meant someday, not right that second.

Hearing he's a risk to Lulu and then having to break the news to Rocco (who only recognized Uncle Lucky from photos!) is a bad day. I was not expecting the first uncle-nephew and Dante scene before the mother and son reunion. Poor Rocco!

The Elizabeth-nuLucas scene was great. Kudos to both actors.

So Lucky lashes out at his late aunt's/now cousin's diner the same way he lashed out upon finding out about the Nikolas and Elizabeth affair. Except this time everything he broke or damaged was not his own property and the paying customers he screamed at had nothing to do with his pain. Now (preview) he wants Jason to get him back to Africa? Time for Laura to tell him to grow the hell up and be strong for his nephew and his son, if no one else.

The anvil from Sam to Rocco that she and Dante are not giving up and will find a donor ... headaches for all.

ETA: We get a Scorpio Brothers scene and it's all about Robert not getting his heart broken again? Mac is really anti-Holly? Since when is Mac encouraging big bro to be with Diane, knowing that she's Sonny's attorney?

I hope Lucky cleans up the mess he made at Kellys Bobbie's today!

Also, having spent so much time in Africa , and whatever illnesses he probably picked up across the globe, he probably can't donate blood, nevermind a piece of his liver.

Awkward for Lucas to talk to Carly about Wiley.

I get Lucky's frustration at not being able to be a donor, but does he really not understand that Lulu needs the healthiest possible liver, and that's not his?

And it was a bit much for everyone to assume Lucky would definitely be a donor. As Elizabeth pointed out to Lucky, he'd been traveling in some remote places. He was bound to pick up something that might make it difficult or impossible to be a donor. Plus, as someone upthread noted, Lucky had been a drug addict. People really needed to manage expectations, and they totally failed. Poor Rocco. He deserved better.

I thought his meltdown in Bobbie's was dumb and selfish. Go punch a cement wall somewhere, you nimrod. Don't make more work for the crew at the diner.

It's always a good day when we get to see the Scorpio brothers arguing, although I wish they weren't in agreement that Robert belongs with Diane.  She's too snippy and too mundane to be the romantic interest for my favorite aging superspy, but Holly is too flighty.  Honestly, I'd be happy if they brought back Katherine, the concert pianist of many, many years ago.

JJY looks healthy and handsome.  Love Mac's dynamic with Felicia.

I guess I'll cut Lucky some slack after the prolonged stress of captivity, but if not for that, I'd say he needs a good slap upside the head.  Why did he run to Carly?  And why did he trash her business for no discernible purpose?

Still impressed with DZ's portrayal of an anxious dad, and I was never particularly a DZ fan.  To my eye, Dante and Elizabeth are the most believable parents on the canvas.

And maybe we'll find out tomorrow, but I figured someone from Bobbie's(especially an employee) would call her immediately to tell her about this crazy person. Instead she gets a call from Brennan 🙄

He is a match however his liver did not pass the test(s) for healthy enough to be a donor. (Not surprising given his past drug addiction and drinking and that he's been in some remote/unhealthy places over the years of travel.)

First, he stopped in to see Lulu and his nephew heard what he said to her. He was already upset, but Rocco being devastated face-to-face with Lucky that he's not able "to save my mom" and screaming that they all lied was the final straw that provoked Lucky's temper tantrum at Bobbie's.

Also - while we all (mostly) love Lucky, let's not forget that he's the son of two parents who, over the years, have dealt with serious psychological issues. Lucky just handles his a bit better, is all.

Ideally, the character we all believe Lucky to be will show some contrition and even a bit of embarrassment about the blow-up. Not even Luke would have gone that far, he just would have downed a bottle of cheap hooch instead.

Well, when Laura went back to her catatonic state after they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, Luke destroyed the Christmas tree and let out such a scream, filled with RAW grief. Too bad the wedding wasn’t real, because Geary’s performance was so visceral. I’m doubly bitter because Guzasshole changed the cure mid-story-suddenly telling Luke, Larry, and LuLu the cure that Robin came up with was only temporary. Yeah, yeah, it was because Genie only came back for Luke and Laura’s 25th.

But still bitter.

I hate you, Show. I was really hoping that Laura would have walked in while Lucky was destroying everything. BUT. She’s supposed to be back tomorrow so I’m hoping for a mega reunion!

Oh, and Mac? That mob mouth piece, Diane, is also “FUNDAMENTALLY “ different from Robert!!!!!!

Emma Samms was blinking so much in her first two scenes, that, if I handn't  known better, I would've assumed she was trying to talk to Robert in morse code.

That was a puppet dog, right?

I think he wrecked Bobbie's because it's the only place in Port Charles that feels like 'home' to him now, dating back to his childhood and meeting Aunt Ruby. He can't have a breakdown at his childhood home now. He understands that his own choices have brought him to a place in life where his liver isn't healthy enough for him to save his sister. His nephew just all but said to his face, you have completely let me and my mom/the whole family down. Ouch! (Carly and Dante acting like Lucky's return was a sure thing to save Lulu didn't help.) The guilt of knowing that Lulu's been in a coma for years and he wasn't there, and the guilt from seeing in Elizabeth and Aiden's eyes that he's been a crap/absentee father to Aiden was already weighing on him.

He still needs a good slap upside the head!

I actually thought he was demanding to talk to Carly because he wanted her to tell Michael to get tested immediately.

Not surprised that Korte gave Violet the Brook Lynn and Chase because they are the most boring couple this show has seen in a long time, and I include Maxie/Franco. Although maybe if she hadn't, Korte would have had to actually write a story for them

Do you mean Austin and Maxie? Cause Maxie & Franco were never a couple or even dated. Maxie and OG Franco had a 🔥 ONS back in 09 but that was it 😫

Sadly, probably only the first part of that is true.  With her plot armor, she will immediately grow a fresh new kidney spontaneously.  As Carly must always win.

Funniest line today - Sam - "she told me the news about Lucky's liver."  Like Lucky's liver is a character on the show.

Worst part - Carly talking about throwing her weight around to get Brad fired. Such a Karen.

Also, how does a detective/P.I. go about finding a liver donor? Are there qualified donors out there in hiding, trying not to be found?

Yeah saying Dante could find a donor was dumb. But Kelly Monaco won’t be on this show must longer to say more dumb things.

That's mean considering the people who write her dumb lines will still be around to write more dumb lines.

I like how nobody outside the family was tested as a potential donor for Lulu.

The only thing I liked about Lucky's breakdown is  it was a callback to his frustration as a teen that he wasn't a match for Lulu. Maybe Laura will point that out to him, since the writers seem to have some sense of that history.

Lucky to Rocco: "You have her eyes (due to recent casting)."

  • LOL 6

I thought the breakdown was a bit much, but @Bringonthedrama pointed out Lucky DID just come from days in captivity where his life was literally on the line constantly. Found out his sister had been in a coma for years, and HER life is this close to ending. Everyone told him that he was her last chance. All looked good, and then whammo! Nope, because of your selfish decision to stay away from your family you ruined your liver and can't save your sister. Got yelled at and basically was told he killed his mom by his nephew, and this was after his son pretty much made it clear he was afraid to tell him he was gay because he didn't know if his dad would still love him.

So, yeah, Lucky has gone through A LOT! in the last week or so. Still shouldn't done what he did at Bobbie's, but as also pointed out, he has no home, no place to go. This place is the only sense of comforting 'home' that he has.

Taking that all in, it makes sense.

I'm glad Dante at least had the self-awareness to be like, "Yeah....maybe we shouldn't have put all this 'Lucky is the last hope!!!" out there before he was even tested." I mean he's been living and working in some remote areas for years. There's restrictions on just donating blood if you've been traveling outside the US to some countries, much less a major organ, plus they didn't even know if he was a match! Also Lucky had no questions about what kind of parasite he was living symbiotically with? Because I think I would have some questions on what kind of parasite I had at the very least. But I guess the "bright side" at least in all of this we'll get a BJ's heart redux where Danta places his head on Lulu's chest to hear Sam's liver churning away.

I guess now that Lucas is back in town and has seen Wiley he can stop being sad and instead be very grateful for the bullet he dodged.

I thought Sam or Dante said they were both going to get tested, when they heard Nikolas can't be the donor. Did the writers forget already?

Julian got tested and found out he was a match for baby Danny, prior to any of them knowing that Julian was Sam's father.

Yes, he was. It's just that his liver wasn't healthy to donate to Lulu because of where he's been and the parasite. That's another reason for his breakdown in the diner. He's a match. But the condition of his liver isn't healthy so he can't help his baby sister.

And Cujo can MISS me with all that bloviating about what Brad "did" to Lucas. Brad didn't DO anything. He panicked and took Wiley from Nelle so that both he and Lucas could have the baby they both wanted. Gee, I seem to remember Jax and Cujo doing something similar to NIK with Baby Spencer. So STFU you heifer.

I will NEVER be okay with Lucas giving her the time of day, the way she came in and destroyed his parents' marriage. Oh, finding out Bobbie gave her away for adoption. The HORROR!

I get the sense that the show wants us to forget that part of his history. Instead of his addiction being an issue, it's some kind of parasite he got. I'm expecting the parasite to burst out of his gut Alien style any day now.

I think she meant lying to Lucas for about a year all the while allowing/encouraging him to get attached to the baby, while he knew the baby was Michael's child - not their adopted baby. Brad had to know the truth would come out eventually and Lucas would get his heart broken.

The "sis" gushiness coming from Lucas is ridiculous, but I think what the Show is trying to push is that he misses his mother so deeply and profoundly that he feels the need to be around the family who meant the most to her aside from himself - Carly and her kids, Maxie (+ BJ's heart) and her kids and Felicia. It took me a bit to realize that Maxie's children are in fact the bio grandnieces and nephew of his late dad Tony, because Tony's brother Frisco is Maxie's birth/biological father. Maxie's kids exist because his sister BJ's heart saved Maxie's life.  Whereas Carly's kids are Bobbie's grandchildren and always knew her as Grandma Bobbie. I would guess he thinks some of Josslyn and/or Michael's memories of Grandma Bobbie will bring him comfort.

Josslyn, Lucky in the aftermath of a tantrum has nothing to do with you not recognizing him. You've never met him! (Seriously, I don't think any of the Josslyn child actresses were even ever in a scene with Lucky.) And of course Lucky knows who you are, nitwit- you're a blonde woman, young adult and referring to Carly as Mom. He's not so far gone he thinks Carly has multiple adult blonde daughters.

Joss: Are you drunk?

Lucky: Not yet.

Me: Really, Show?! Self-pity, trying to run away, and having Jason of all people trying to talk him into doing the right thing is ... not a good look for Lucky. Still no mention of Jake between these two?! It's like the Jason/Elizabeth/Lucky triangle and Jake's existence never happened. And Jason just happened to have that much cash in an envelope in a drawer, to help him? 🙄

I'm shocked that Molly brought up Claudia's death and Carly's role in cover-up.

It's also like Natalia's open bigotry never happened.

LAURA!!! The tears, the smile! Looking forward to their scene in the chapel!

If Noted Bigot Natalia wants to keep things "just business" with Sonny, she should set up an appointment with him during the day to talk, not drop by his phony restaurant at night.

Lucky went to the diner because he knew it was the family business and it was a "safe" place for him to let it out.

Ahem.

While I have no use for Molly, I LOVED her bringing up Claudia to Anna, and also her last line about "justice" and the "law" just being talk for Anna. Because it's true. Anna of a decade ago wouldn't have been this sad sack we've been saddled with since Faison was killed.

Just as Show is now pretending Lucky had no hand in raising Cameron and Baby Jake, I'm supposed to be shocked that he and Jason wouldn't talk about Jake? Right now, it's like Aiden is Lucky's only  child.

And I loved Lucky getting in Mini-Cujo's face. She was channeling Cujo, so of course that's how Lucky recognized her. And yeah, the last time Lucky was in town, this asshole was a toddler and they never shared scenes.

Why is Felicia helping Carly? Why does Felicia care if Carly is being followed by a PI? Aside from Carly never losing at anything.

This is their first one-on-one scene with Adult JJ. They were on-screen together very briefly during Tony Geary's retirement storyline in 2015. I think they each had like one line to each other and a hug when L&L rescued him.  This mother-son reunion should be amazing!

Because they made peace after Bobbie's death and now Felicia feels like she has to be another of SheBeast's protectors.

Carly and her repeating "my friend Felicia Scorpio" was annoying to the hilt.

Laura and Lucky seeing each other was a nice ending to an episode that had the most obnoxious characters in it.

I actual hope Laura already knows Lucky isn't a match.

I was looking up Lulu's blood type - apparently it's A- which is fairly rare (about 6-8% of the population). So yeah, she'd have a harder time finding a donor, but not impossible. I'm curious - have they mentioned her being on the transplant list for a deceased donor as well? They're all talking living donors like it's the only option.

So this means Lucky has to be A-, as well as Nikolas. Which means when Lulu donated blood to Aidan, she donated Nikolas's blood *technically* because of the transplant. Have they tested Aidan??

Does GH have a medical consultant? Because they should.

I think it was mentioned that being in a coma for years disqualifies Lulu from being on the national transplant registry. Or, I could easily have GH mixed up with another show. LOL
