I said gymnosperm instead of conifer -- I wonder if they would have given it to me? All conifers are gymnosperms, but not all gymnosperms are conifers.

I hate this season. I hate the alliance. I really hate James or Will or whichever one said, "Good." when Phil said one team was missing. I hate that Phil told them where they're going next. Some of this episode might have been fun and interesting but for the alliance. I did like the lions at the marketplace. They looked like they were having fun.

Instaget FJ for me tonight. I love that book. The recent Harrison Ford movie? I didn't love it quite as much. Seemed to be a good game tonight. I got distracted somewhere in the middle because Santa Claus came through my neighborhood -- twice, because of the way the streets are arranged. Instead of a big parade where everyone crowds together on the street and watches it go by, the town is bringing Santa and the fire trucks through the neighborhoods. The rest of the parade is a drive-through event with stationary floats set up in a big parking lot. Anyway, the only TS I got were Catch-22 and Hamburg.

I just saw a commercial for a Baby Yoda chia pet. It's Baby Yoda in the floating bassinet, and the chia grows up around him, not on him.

No idea for FJ tonight, either! I hope it gets better for the rest of the week. Of course I got William and Mary. I'd have to return my degree from there if I'd missed that one. And thanks to taking Physics there, I got thermodynamics and flywheel. Other TS I got include Lerner and Loewe, Josephine, and Peter Frampton. I guess Frampton was before their time.

Vacation Bible School was where I learned a good healthy hate of graham crackers and Tang. Every day, year after year, the snack was graham crackers and Tang. Each is bad enough by itself, but together? The stuff of nightmares.

Not true. If you want fertile eggs and chicks, you need a rooster, but hens do quite well laying eggs without benefit of sperm.

I loved Gloria bonding with Dottie over the old neighborhood. Maybe it was a little educational for Dottie, too.

Most urban areas that allow chickens only allow hens, not roosters.

John is okay, but he needs to stand still. Especially when he's wearing that jacket. I did not get FJ. I said minotaur, knowing it was wrong. I don't think I knew unicorns were in the Bible. Are they only in the King James Version? It made me very sad that no one knew Sequoyah. I got that, void, and diminuendo.

Because they aren't veterinarians and goats are not people! Sorry, but that always bugs me, when TV assumes that people doctors can effectively treat animals, too. (See also MASH).

I think that's why I like it so much. It is problematic, to be sure, but it's also fairly real in a lot of ways. Particularly that they don't all have a happily-ever-after. Plus, I laugh like a loon when .

Tree nuts. All tree nuts. I can't stand the taste, texture, or smell of any tree nuts. Many a decent pound cake has been ruined by almond extract. Big nope on macadamia nuts, too. And keep your nasty Nutella away from me. Black walnuts are the worst of the lot, though.
