My watch chides me if I don't meet the goals it sets for me. I appreciated it during the shutdown, when I had the potential of becoming one with my sofa, but now that I'm back to work in person, not so much.

My FJ streak is over -- I couldn't come up with Marshall for anything. Boo, hiss. For TS, I got hatch, coo, Born To Run, and krugerrand. Loved seeing Alex tap dance! But I can't imagine trying to tap and jump rope at the same time.

I drive through several roundabouts between my house and work. It's remarkable how many people treat those like four-way-stops. News flash: if there's no one in the circle (or within eyesight of the circle), you don't have to stop! At least they've figured out not to go the wrong way around. Mostly.

I think it has, too, as part of the new opening. I also believe that there is a different one each day, but they're repeated. So the Tuesday one is always on Tuesday, for example. I haven't really paid that much attention, though.

Dogs yesterday and Cats today! Today's was also an instaget for me. And another good game without too many TS. I only got nene and Lycra.

I should have gotten hazardous waste, but I thought they wanted something more specific and less obvious than just “waste”. I said chemicals for that one.

As soon as I saw Billy's mother with the foil-covered plate, I knew it was chicken, and I knew which chicken it was! And I laughed about it.

That was fun. Not enough of the camels, though. I suspect that Leo and Alanna were farther behind even before the yield than it appeared, after the ten tries to get all the questions right. I also suspect they would have been in last without the yield. Did the blondes really think the people cooking the heads were just going to hand them a head without a platter? I wonder how long it took them to figure that out? I can't believe Phil didn't comment on their facial hair! I was really hoping that they'd get to spend the night in the yurts they decorated.

I forgot to mention the Trabants! Gus and Hera would be proud of how most of these teams were able to drive them so well.

I really hope Hung and Chee actually did learn a lesson about this being a RAAAAAACE! Don't wait around for three other teams! I'm a little mad that NFL took their cab, too. The blondes have grown on me -- probably because no one is helping them. I'm sick of the alliance. I am so glad that some teams did the chicken song. I enjoyed the costumes -- they did remind me of Elton John and his chicken suit, though.

Oh, bummer! I was really rooting for Deanna. And actively rooting against middle guy, although he got less bad about picking up the pace a bit. I had to think about FJ for a bit, but arrived at the right response in the nick of time. Finally remembering that -phil- is love helped me tremendously. Only two TS for me -- zero, and smile smile smile.

Plus a sweater tied around her waist would completely wreck her pitch.

I haven't had a chance to watch last night's game yet, but I went through the archives just now. I definitely would have gotten the TS of Hawaii, and the missed DD of recant. I probably would have gotten bluebells, but for some reason, I can't see the pictures on the archive. I should have gotten "curiouser and curiouser", since I say it a lot, but I guess I didn't know the source of the quote. I did get FJ, but it was not an instaget.
