I am not usually a shallow person, but I do have a thing about strange mouths. It started in my childhood when our family doctor had horrible teeth and I was scared of him and evolved into a dislike of weird mouths. I cannot deal with the champ and Ken's lisp or whatever it is at the same time......I just can't. Sometimes it is not even so much the lisp as the way their mouths look when pronouncing words. Just like singers, there are some I can watch and some I can just listen to. No all that plus one of my favorite movies with Doris Day....did someone say soap?

I enjoyed Brad more than I thought. So far I like him and James best as the Chaser. I think in my head, although I know the difference , I sometimes confused Brad with Buzzy.

I thought that was him, but missed the beginning. Did he address it? I wish they would give them some money, like they do on Beat Shazam

How can you not get John Wilkes Booth?

Any thoughts as to why Cliff got the worst edit in that whole situation? It was after that season that Top Chef became hit or miss for me when after Season 1 I thought it would be must see TV for me. I like the seasons best that they don't have a lot of drama.

I was on fire yesterday. Was it just me, or did it feel like the clues were really easy, even the DJ and Final? I had a feeling the champ was going to lose.

I too have not liked most sitcoms of the last 15 years..maybe 20, other than a few. Odd because back in the day there were so many good ones to choose from. I think I am the only person who never liked The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother and is it Broke Girls? I heard that MB is starring in a sitcom based upon Miranda from the UK, which I actually liked. All I could think of is how the Office and Coupling were hilarious...until they remade them in the U.S. As a host I am not sure about MB or Katie even just as guests. I would rather them concentrate on finding a solid permanent host than suffer through a lot of "gimmick" hosting shows.....

I was just coming here to say that I stuck with my, "I'm not watching" since Melendez was gone, but thank everyone for posting. came to the boards just a few times, and only this time because the title was Lim. Other than Melendez, this is one of the main reasons the show no longer worked for me....they took every stereotype about Autism and gave it to Shaun and sometimes it is not as much Autism as other things. I feel they did a good job of letting us know his back story and while I understand his parents and other things contribute to why he acts the way he does and not just the autism, a lot of what they showed was just tiring. From the way I read in a post toward the start of this post, this show has moved more toward ER or something...and I stopped watching that after a few years. I will check in every now and then to see if they have better writing for Claire and Lim because they are the only ones I care about, and Andrews to a lesser extent. Only because I like Hill Harper and Marsha Thomson and keep hoping they will bring her back as his wife. The Shaun/Lea story has no appeal to me.

I know a lot of people don't, but I love James! I had no doubt how this one was ending. I have watched the British version and I like this new one. Something to distract me from the fact that Alex is gone.

Love Marcus, and yes Eddie is easy on the eyes. Tiffiani seems to have good instincts of how to manage foods that are not common.

Maybe they are letting us get used to not having Alex by giving us some random, and possibly fun? people to ease us into a new host or they want us to be so tired of some of these people that when they make the final choice we won't complain.

Is that the Dirty Jobs man? What did he do? I think you are right. I think he did o.k. and I was surprised, but I think long term for me at least you are correct, the voice and demeanor is all wrong. His presence doesn't hit the right note.

I was ok with Ken but it was a difficult episode without Alex. Love how the champ didn't let his early misses get him down and just went to work...

I will give it another shot. Surprised at how I am not connecting to Jane! I usually like her in everything, but somehow she just seemed off. Not sure about long term . Never watched American Idol so I know very little about Randy. He was alright dawg!

I'll watch again. I want to see all three as the Chaser.

Yep, just like anyone can come on a national television show and pretend to have feelings for people, etc. for Instagram likes, a Social Media career, media opportunties, etc. with no proof that they really are these "nice" people in real life, but millions fall for it and make them wealthy. So we all can choose to believe whatever we want until there is evidence to the contrary.... they literally went after Demario with little proof and although I know very little about the the guy on Tayshia's season situation, where was the proof in that other than her friends saying one thing and his saying another? And interviewing people from Twitter, which I guess is more reputable than Tik Tok? Not saying she is not telling the truth but in most of these situations who really knows?

There is one person on this panel who has no business being there

@chocolatine She had said her faith was very important to her she did not elaborate he only watched part of Rachel's season and Peter's so knew nothing abt her whole religious arc or other leads. Not everyone watches the show or follows the contestants. He even said that.If he had been in relationships before where it was not an issue why would he think it was a deal breaker? She was on the show claiming she was open to anything and difference. She said that in his one on on and didn't add a religion disclaimer.She was the one who needed to ask the question if it was important to heart especially before hometowns. Just because it's a deal breaker too hard doesn't mean he would know that if he had experienced situations in the past where it wasn't. I really believe she had him convinced that things were so good between him that he honestly thought it was something that they could work through and he said they talked about that that he proposed having an interfaith relationship and she didn't rule it out. And yes she had said that she was going to have the rose ceremony as a formality so she was prepared to go through with taking him home until Ben showed up and then all of a sudden it became a big issue when she had another choice. Again Ivan is fine abt what happened and they are both better off. If wanted air time she was willing to fake a final two for the camera and thinks still would have with Ben until that talk with her father. So they would both be par for the course

@chocolatineConservative Christian explains a lot to me about Tayshia . What was more interesting to me was that he had no idea she was going to say it on national tv. He was ok with the break up, not mad about it or about her saying it, but apparently since it was said in Fantasy Suites he thought it was private as it is not something that he has shared with a lot of people. Not hiding it, just didn't have a reason to talk about it, now of course he is dealing with all these questions about it, from all areas of his life especially as it was given with no context. You ask this before Hometowns! He also said she didn't really act then like it was a deal breaker. He had dated people before that were religious and accepted he was not so he did not think at the end of FS that it was that big of a deal. And yes, I think she was well aware that she had sold this whole, "there is nothing wrong with Ivan, he is perfect," but now she is saying she always knew it was Zac, so she knew she had to subtly let the audience know it was BIG to make herself look better and like she was not just playing along. I mean she vaguely told Ben "that their pages were not aligned....so why the need to clearly spell it out with Ivan? It is not like he was acting bewildered? He knew what she was talking about when she said "we talked about some deep stuff," or whatever she said, and he responded something like he should have told her sooner, so it is not like she thought he didn't know what she was talking about. Why be so dramatic when you weren't before with Ben? And the lack of emotion.... I did listen to it, he is over it, positive, was complimentary of her and Zac, so I hope people don't try to paint him as bitter. He wisely said that someone who does not want him as he is is not the person for him. I agree, and that goes both ways.
