    Season 03

I don't know if it is just because he is so tall, but the actor who plays OA never looks comfortable with his movement to me. I also find him a little wooden. I am glad they are giving more time to the second team of the new agent and her partner. The fact that I can't remember their names......ugh.
  2. I actually think they will end the season with him apart from Luna....just another reason he and Sharpe can't be together because he is "fighting for his daughter," and doesn't have time for the relationship. That will be the dramatic end because having him almost die just happened this past week and for it to happen again so soon would be too much....hence let's end the season with him losing his daughter....so we can have the "cliff hanger" of will he get his daughter back.
  3. I think a woman directed this episode
  4. Well, one of the shows stars had a picture on Instagram saying goodbye and IMBD only had the character up until this episode. I guess they could be holding back or maybe even after fan reaction there will be a "plot twist" and the character will be brought back next year......but highly unlikely. Would be fun though!
  5. Again, why is this on Dawn? The other three could have pulled together and made sure their dishes were cohesive and she would have been the odd one out, and she had nothing to do with their service or execution of what they did decide to put together. I know many people that cook that cannot verbalize what they are putting together. My mom was one. She was incredible in the kitchen, but had no idea what she was doing nor could she tell someone else. She just went in and created. Sure, ,she she should have told them, but I don't think she was doing it maliciously she was probably under pressure and just didn't know. Additionally, just because you come on Top Chef knowing there are team challenges, does not mean that everyone automatically morphs into actually being a team player. For some people that is a skill that is learned over a period of time. Like most thing, I am sure many come in thinking they can work as a team but the reality is something different. Irritating whatever she did ( I usually fast forward to most of everything except judging) but the cause of the demise of the team? Uh, not in totally or even the biggest part. From what you are saying in the comments, they all pretty much agreed to do their own thing.
  6. Not to mention they both know he is watching one or both of them since he knew they had been together at her apartment. No way he doesn't know where she is and they should know that, and I don't see her not being aware of his "eye in the sky," which is why it is comical that it would not have picked up Gina talking to the team leader. Again, who in that position who has security cameras does not check them daily??
  7. I am trying hard to figure out how Dawn is getting the blame for individual choices? She certainly did not prevent the others from going to talk to the judges or being more personable, did not decide on her own to not have a cohesive concept, and to my knowledge did not work on their dishes that failed. So HOW again was she the reason they did so poorly?
  8. They always have to create a "bad guy" for audience to talk about. Editing is what makes these shows. It is so frustrating because people believe what is chopped up and presented in one hour as gospel for things that probably took at least two days and are sorely missing context and entire conversations. I'll bet that even with that, they probably did interact a little, but for dramatic effect even that little was left out. I would find it hard to believe that no one topped up their drinks at least once
  9. No, I've never liked Restaurant Wars.
  10. I stuck to my word and have not watched an episode since Melendez left, and this is maybe my 2nd or third time on the board. What is disappointing is even without watching I predicted not only a pregnancy between the two, but that they would also write a miscarriage. Yeah, I am still annoyed that they went forward with Sean and Lea and not Melendez and Lim, or Melendez and Claire, or heck Jared and Claire or Claire and Sean. I had even come around to Carly and Sean. Lea annoys me and apparently Glassman and Resnick are still there.
  11. I thought that he would be involved with the ex wife, but maybe he is sleeping with Richard's daughter. I find it interesting that they thought to sweep the Faraday room after Stabler asked him to place a mic down there. I mean, he didn't do it before when he found one in the office. To me that just telegraphed there was a mic. I agree, surely if they have that much intel on Wheatley they know he is paranoid and would have camera's everywhere...which begs the question why her same camera did not pick up on them planting the one in the office. I hate it when shows are sloppy like that. I dislike the stories where the bad guy is always one step ahead. Maybe this is how Stabler becomes the leader....because if they have 3 failed busts in a row then the boss is looking bad without her family lawsuit.... Interesting that the whole family is corrupt without a decent one amongst them. I wonder if Angela knows that he not only has her children making shady deals, but has turned them into actual murderers? Although I know realistically you have to plan and corroborate with other departments, but knowing how "powerful" Wheatley is you would have to think that someone in the police or DA's office is an informant for him. When you plan the bust the day before that gives someone plenty of time to give him a heads up. Since two other times he was prepared for them you would think this would be a real fear. That or you hold one key piece of info until the last minute....like the buyer is working with you. They could have planned that same bust without revealing that until the last minute on the comms which would give someone very little time to tip Wheatley off. I am trying to understand why telling someone that you want someone else to suffer is considering "ordering a hit." But I missed the first 10 minutes so I don't know what she actually did. It just seemed in her later conversation with Stabler she and Richard had a conversation and he said Stabler killed her son and did she want him dead, and she said "no I want him to suffer." What are they holding her on? For wishing someone was dead? Love Steve Harris...so good to see him. Will he have any episodes with Dylan McDermott???!!
  12. During COVID it could have come down who was willing and able to do it. They had to stay in a bubble and some other chefs were fighting to keep their places open or taking care of the opportunity to be with family. Maybe others didn't want to take the risk. Personally I think the entire team should have went home for not having anyone act as host/hostess/front of house. I mean?!! As for Chris going, I believe they liked Chris' dish except for the pasta and really liked his final dish. At the end of the day, they have said several times in the past that it is about what happens on that challenge and not what happened on the last one or even three or four. I am not a big Chris supporter, but to me it was evident is was Gabe or Sara.
  13. I enjoy everyone's comments more than I do the actual show. I think I have missed too much at this point to try to understand what is going on. I've tried to enjoy the Nancy not being Carson's child, etc. but so far most things fall flat. Then again, the actor that plays Carson would not have been my choice. I will wait to see how they wrap up the year before I decide if I can continue. I do like the group mostly as individuals. I may be the only one not loving the George and Nick romance. I don't really see chemistry with them and I liked them more as friends. If they wanted to put Nick with someone other than Nancy I wish they would have brought in a different character. Put I guess it was easier for them to put the two minorities together. I think Ace may be my favorite character.
  14. I agree, but I am usually good with faces.
  15. I was over wanting Max and Helen together a long time ago. The way the character of Max is written he is just exhausting and I have no idea why any sane woman would want to take that on. I had hoped they were writing his manic behavior as him covering for not dealing with his grief and eventually they would ease up...but no. Why in the world would he try to fix something and why would she immediately try to help instead of at least calling someone to let them know where they were? Was there no one else in the hospital with the right safety equipment that could have rinsed him off? They go from the ridiculous to the absurd. It was clear to me we were headed for a custody battle as soon as I found out the child was staying with them during COVID... actually as soon as his wife died..such lazy and predictable writing all around The only way the Floyd/Dr. thing would have worked for me is if she had admitted she made up a husband to scare people off and there was no husband. Now I have no idea what the point is. I care less about Iggy, so nothing to say there Almost the same with Bloom. I usually fast forward through her scenes so I missed that her right hand was thinking of leaving....where was her new love?
  16. I am seriously questioning my sanity. I never miss Jeopardy, but somehow a lot of these people I just cant seem to remember from their original shows! There were a huge number o of clues that I knew the answer to that every contestant blanked on..
  17. Why can't I remember the champion who won tonight? Is his hair or something different? Or maybe I wanted to forget him.....
  18. Thank you. I actually forgot to DVR it and I missed the every beginning and came in during the end of the quick fire.
  19. I meant roughly for each candidate but thanks for the info. I believe you still get my point...and when we count the number of people who are in the country in total and possibly are functional enough and old enough to have access to social media there are millions more. It baffles me why the media and some people place so much emphasis on what is really probably a small number of people think and act accordingly. The majority of the country is busy living their own lives and worrying about their own problems....
  20. Was Gabriel on this episode and I missed him? This was taped a long time ago, so all the analysis of this elimination is baffling. This show has been on a long time and plenty of people have left while on a team challenge. That's how it goes, and they know it is a possibility when they came in. As I recall, there was also some criticism of his dish as well even if it was not the main issue. It's not like he made something that was "WOW!!!!" and still went home.
  21. Surprisingly I want Gina to survive but Ritchie to go. Saw an interview and they may be floating the idea of Wheatley or someone in the family being involved in the new spin off. Either he dies or he is coming back at some point to get revenge. At best he has kept evidence take sure if caught he has something to bargain with against hard time or anything but cushy federal prison. I just remember Angela talking to someone about expensive alcohol so she has a man that is not Richard and could be the snitch
  22. As a vegetarian I did not find the look of Sarah's food appealing. Obviously it tasted better than it looked. I really like Jaimie and I am glad she is back. I am surprised that Chris is still in the competition. I just think he really doesn't have a point of view that stands out from the people who are left.
  23. Oh I never thought Angela was innocent, but I didn't think she was into murder. Is it possible she will be framed? At this point the way they weaved Benson's brother into this mess anything is possible. 🙄
  24. Just when I had hope we would at least temporarily move away from the Olivia mess....here we go! It is not uncommon for someone to have a fling right after a spouse dies. I know it sounds crazy but some people are really messed up and are looking for a connection. What baffles me is the same people who were all for Elliott saying , "I love you," to Olivia so soon after his wife died will be the same people complaining it is too soon for him to kiss Angela! Now, I am really mad that they made her a bad guy because although I am sure the pandering to the fan base will eventually end with him and Olivia, I at least wanted to think that they could keep them apart for a good length of time. I am also sure her connection to his wife will be something crazy. Dylan, Dylan, where does wardrobe get the coats? Gina is on borrowed time..... as is Stabler's boss.... Meloni and Tamera have chemistry.... I can't....he tells you he is following ( and a smart man with "reach" would also be following the team investigating him) and then you meet with your police contact in a public place? And she calls the police from a phone she should suspect he is monitoring? And the plant the idea of a bug in his wine cage in the guys head so that he can tell him to look there? Ugh! The point of the wife's nephew's (?) story? Lastly, this ties into Olivia's brother?? UGH!!! I loved the Stabler character and was happy he was getting his own show.....but .....
  25. I can't even sit through a whole show anymore...not even for Jesse...
