Yes. I have not been on here in a long time since I no longer have Hallmark and I was sad to see that comment. But it was ok for some to go decades with never seeing anyone who looked like them reflected, and if they were it was in a negative light. The lack of diversity....and I mean more than just skin color, is the reason why I don' have Hallmark anymore.....that and I got tired of Holly and Candace sharing the same wig

Love Brandon and love that not all of the Chasers are from Jeopardy. I too got emotion when Shawn got emotional. I totally understand about mom

It was telegraphed last week (and before in my opinion) that Nick and Damaar were leaving at the start of the episode...the order was the only thing in question

Death In Paradise - General Discussion

We all look alike -
Seems I didn't miss anything. Bye Freema, I have sorta lost respect for you for agreeing to film this mess, even with a contract. I left the Good Doctor over the constant ruining of the Claire character ( and the loss of eye of eye candy in N. Gonzalez), so I can for sure leave over the horrible writing for Helen. I disagree upthread, not wanting Max or barely tolerating him is the ONLY thing about her behavior that I understand and agree with. I would not want someone who behaves as he does...and she is always explaining to him that she wants a "partner" (and I hate the way she says it) and they are always trying to pretend that he is even remotely worth putting up with that for. Sorry, not sorry, because I do not feel like the actor is attractive. I came in at the end of the episode, but sounds like I didn't miss anything. Iggy, Floyd and Lauren are such useless characters that as soon as I read and realized that whatever the latest disaster was did not take one of them out that was enough for me. Why were they trying to have a wedding on a roof....??? And wouldn't Lauren or somebody have been with Helen to help her get ready? Never mind....I really don't care.....

And we are still supposed to believe that Barry is smart enough to build Gideon...when every season he does something dumb

I think I asked the same questions because I fast forward through most of her scenes.

They always spoil who is going home at the beginning. I knew all episode, just not how it would play out. As usual, the winner was identified a long time ago if you were paying attention.

Yes, immediately Guiding Light came to mind. Luckily I never watched the show more than a few half episodes before Dylan, so I can't waste time comparing him and his predecessor, whom I have never enjoyed in anything he was in. He was the main reason I didn't watch the show, although the weak supporting cast is an issue for both leading men. I've liked Dylan since Dark Blue and I think he is doing a o.k. job. After a couple of episodes, I realized I just don't like the show that much, even after giving him a try. I don't like the International one at all, and would have rather saw Dylan there. It is nothing but a poor imitation of Crossing Lines ,which did it so much better and should have been given a shot. Not recognizable or marquee? Isn't there an Oscar nominee in this cast?

Maybe they're saving him for the final

Maddie was always my least favorite part of the original show and continues to be the weak link here. Here acting is horrible, she looks awkward all the time and has one facial expression. I do love Bosch's new tech guy, am liking the Honey partnership more than I thought, and same as everyone else love seeing some of the old squad. I am still hoping for an alive J. Edgar and the female detective that transferred to Robbery with him. Always good to see William DeVane and wish he'd had a larger role. I am still hoping the son is alive and there was a mixup and he deserted or something, although I think this is leading to a child of his more than anything. Is Maddie still with her boyfriend? I fast forward through her parts so...... Ask and you shall receive!!! โค๏ธ๐

I have tried so hard to warm to OA. I don't know if it is his height, his acting,or a combo, but he just looks so awkward to me.๐ค

Right! I was literally screaming Poldark? Like, what?

Have never been able to make it through Citizen Kane, although I am also one of few who does not like It's a Wonderful Life, so what do I know?๐ Didn't understand the wagering tonight, but I guess it worked out.

I am glad they got someone who was NOT on Jeopardy.

This right here is why I side eye the "ken was the best." He was the best under he current rules. Who really knows who was the best to play the game? All things were not the same. Back then they did not have this high dollar tournaments and people were limited to 5 days. This is why in sports I also side eye the GOAT (an acronym I have come to dislike) debates when equipment is different, rules are different, even the way and access they have to take care of their bodies is different. In general I don't like comparing people that way but I hate how everyone pretends that some of the whiny NBA players could have made it back in day when every scratch was not ruled a foul and you didn't have all the flopping and acting.

I enjoyed tonight's game

Ah ,my husband who knows me so well, watched with me tonight. I had never said a word, but at the end he said , "oh my god." His take is that it is the mix of youthful exuberance along with the "old woman" mannerisms that does it. He said, and I agree, she is the person that you can just see, saying "old pshaw," or something like that.

I don't dislike Mattea, I just don't enjoy her as a contestant. She is not the first and won't be the last. As I said before I don't enjoy the show as much any more for many reasons including not enjoying this forum as much, but that is my issue. People are entitled to their opinions as I certainly have mine , but the Mayim thing has been over the top for me. I also think it is unfair to compare her to Ken. He has spent years likely knowing this would be a shot for him and preparing. I personally did not feel that any former contestant should be host and I still feel that way. I also don't think he is SOOO GREAT as a host that they should stop looking, but I have resigned myself to the fact that he will be. All the rhetoric around Mayim's clothing, etc. has been disappointing and I absolutely believe that women have had it harder. I remember one really great contestant that had a large chest and won a few games and one particular show she was with two other females. I was so excited to see three smart women playing which rarely happened on Jeopardy, but while she was on everyone kept harping on her outfits that in their opinion showcased her chest. As a person with a similar one, it doesn't have to be showcased, they are just there๐, but just another example of how a man is not scrutinized that way. I am certainly not perfect, but I can only remember one contestant that rubbed me a certain way and I still he believes he was one who was trying to make an "impression" for future opportunities. It is hard to know if someone has a hidden disability so in my mind I try to keep that possibility at the forefront. I really try hard not to post a lot of negative comments about contestants and when I am thinking them I challenge myself as to why it bothers me. Different is not scary, it is just different, but we also all don't have to like the same thing. As my dad explained it to me once, that is why Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors and there is a Heinz 57...or is it 67??

Love Dylan in most things. I tried to give him a shot in this, but generally I think his supporting cast is very weak.
