  1. I think you mean the scene where Indy faces off against the Arab swordsman. Originally they planned a fight where Indy uses his whip against him but Ford had dysentary so they decided to have Indy shoot him.
  2. When the person who came along to protect her is actually more immature than her and being a bitch to the mother of a potential recruit, without any explanation, then it is her business.
  3. I like Lin but I don't think Korra was out of line. Korra had respected her wishes and agreed to not tell anybody she was there but Su's guy found out she was lying so they had to fess up. Then when Lin acts like a huge bitch Korra could have written it off as being her usual cranky self but she was genuinely concerned and wanted to know what was bothering her. I don't see her betraying Lin at all. Yes, it's not her business but she wouldn't butt in if she didn't consider Lin a friend.
  4. I want to get into it more when the episode actually airs but Lin's not mad about what happened to her face(it didn't scare off Tenzin). She's angry that If Su had stayed the same person when she was younger then I can understand Lin being so angry but the fact is Su had changed. And she wanted to reconcile but she chose to stay angry. No, what actually happened was Korra came to Lin's room very politely and said her niece wanted to talk to her and Lin says(throwing down her newspaper) "You want to talk. Talk." So Opal(in the sweetest way imaginable) tells Lin(sitting with her arms crossed and not looking at her) that she was excited to get to know her because she heard all these great things about her from Su and Toph and was hoping we would be part of her family. Lin says(staring ahead) "Get out." Opal is (understandably) confused and asks "Did I say something wrong?" Then Lin turns to her and yells "GET OUT!" which causes Opal to cry and she runs out. The Spanish version? Did you understand it? I wanted to throw a rock through my teevee when those assholes smirked at each other! Reading the synopsis, what actually happened is . According to the synopsis of the next episode
  5. Wow, spoiler alert. According to the synopsis of the next episode(which I now felt free to read, thanks) Su does apologize to Lin at the end of the episode.
  6. Wow, way to make your cute niece cry, Lin. On another note I am now imagining a Maury Povich-"You are not the father!" situation with Toph and her two baby daddies!
  7. Airplane! is full of great moments but the ones with Johnny(Stephen Stucker) are my favorite: These are the runner up:
  8. This great supercut video helped remind me of this:
  9. I just remembered in the first season casino scene Felicity complaining about the lack of slot machines and saying "How can you call yourself a casino without any Lucky 7s?!" You could say she probably grew up around them!
  10. Until somebody reminded me of it I had completely forgotten the early 90s Italian restaurant sketch with Kirstie Alley where the entire staff(Carvey, Myers, Schneider, Sandler) kisses, gropes and fondles her in front of her pissed off husband(Kevin Nealon). It's still one of the raciest bits they've ever done! Kirstie Alley was a really good sport(although she seemed visibly annoyed by the end) and the background bit with Carvey and a blonde female customer! 11. I wonder who's going to show up during "year 3" of Ollie's stay on the island?
  12. Game of Thrones, Season 4 – VFX making of reel:
  13. And the part during the car scene where blood splattered on the camera was an accident they decided to keep! http://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/scifi/alfonso-cuarn-calls-iconic-scene-children-men-happy-accident.html
  14. Loved this: It makes me sad that some people thought that it was actually Neil Young and not Jimmy doing his impression of him!
  15. Well if we can't have any more scenes of Felicity with Ollie's mom, I'd like some scenes with her own. I want to meet Felicity's Las Vegas cocktail waitress mom next season.
  16. I liked Iron Man Three a LOT better than the second Iron Man. There was some good parts to Iron Man 2 like the suitcase suit and Black Widow but there was too much of what I didn't like about the first Iron Man and not enough of what I did. She was awesome.
  17. A long but insightful and often very funny lecture by Garrett Brown, the inventor of the steadicam who also operated it on many major films like the Rocky movies, The Shining, Return of the Jedi, etc.
  18. Looking at Felicity's very first appearance in S1E3 it's hard to believe it was just going to just a one-off appearance. It's definitely easier to believe the people behind the scenes were watching the rushes while making the fourth episode and thought "We have to bring her back!". The character was already really well written but Emily brought so much life to it and her chemistry with Stephen was instantly so good.
  19. Someday I'm going to find a salmon ladder and if I make it up one rung, it will be my "Everest"!
  20. I always love the one-point perspective shots in Stanley Kubrick movies:
  21. I was distracted mostly that the fire chief was Jack Dawson's Italian buddy on Titanic.
  22. Innocence is when the show hit a whole new level and where I became a fan for life. I was kind of a casual viewer before, not obsessed to catch every episode. But when this episode hit I was like "Oh. My. God." and was ALL in, from then on. The scene with Willow and Oz in the van is one of my favorite scenes and one of Seth Green's best moments. I swear I think I heard every girl watching sigh all at once when he said "In my fantasy when I'm kissing you. You're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait." Other classic moments: Xander's reaction to Larry coming out of the closet in "Phases" and the hallway scene in "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered". Thank you ME for introducing me to "Got the Love" by the Average White Band: I didn't realize until either reading the Buffy episode guide years ago that the first two seasons were shot on 16 mm film and it wasn't until the third season they switched to the higher quality 35 mm. It really does give a quality and feel to those early seasons that I can't quite describe.
  23. "It would take a miracle to get out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles."
