  1. I am going to watch the show, even though I find her really obnoxious, she seems like the kind of person who is acutely aware how "adorable" they are, and I hate that. I'm watching for Jason and Cortney, I love Cortney, I'd marry her if I could.
  2. Hmmmm. I"m just not certain yet. I wanted to love it. I liked certain parts of it, liked Mark Duplass, I am a fan now after seeing The One I Love (great movie, go watch it!). Liked his friend, not sure about either actress yet, I wish the wife was an actress other than Melanie Lynsky, she's okay in some things but overall, not sure she has any personality at all. Didn't get why she wouldn't have sex with her husband (but then, I don't have kids!)
  3. Punchline: "You don't want carrrrrrpet, you want an AREA RUG!"
  4. Not a favorite commercial by any means, but now that the Trivago guy has gotten a makeover, he looks kinda hot.
  5. I thought for sure either Mei or Melissa were goners just based on their "we are great friends!" TH at the beginning of the show. The editing monkeys have changed up their game!
  6. This episode had a few funny moments, but the show itself has indeed jumped the shark. It seems so desperate now.
  7. Bill Hader isn't classicaly handsome but his humor and talent are completely endearing.
  8. I thought that Taxi episode was so very heavyhanded. but I feel that way about a lot of Taxi episodes.
  9. I'm fine with Fred, always have been. He marches to the beat of his own comedy drummer.
  10. I'm another who's "meh" on Blake Shelton. I'm not a country music fan and don't watch The Voice.
  11. No, you're not alone. I still think it's the best sitcom of all time, and I watch at least two to three episodes a week on Netflix.
  12. I loved the song on the last Colbert, until I saw the song on Craig Ferguson's final show. Emotional, and I wasn't even a regular Ferguson viewer.
  13. Yes! And they keep doing what they're doing, even though the police are asking them questions! No one seems to sit down and act nervous just because--hey, police! They keep bussing tables or working on paperwork or cleaning their house! Stop what you're doing!
  14. I did enjoy it, Aradia, I thought "No One is Alone" was going to be the undoing of me.
  15. Christmas Eve day I asked my husband to go see Into the Woods. He made a face, and refused to see it. By Saturday I had convinced him, but only because he was doing it for me. He REALLY enjoyed it. Same thing happened with Les Mis, which now I'm tired of. I think people who say they hate musicals need to see one or two musicals that really can do the trick for them. Not all musicals are for me, I can't watch just any musical.
  16. I love The Californians too, it might help I'm a native Californian. They just crack me up. I don't mind Fred Armisen either, in fact I really like him and his brand of comedy. Kristen Wiig, however, I am TIRED of. She can go away.
  17. I may get pelted with tomatoes for this, but I actually liked Justin's outfit (I won't go so far as to say it was a design). I dislike the menswear challenges because a) everyone has a freak out and b) everyone feels the necessity to over design all the outfits. Zippers, extra pockets, really? I liked that Justin made an actual outfit for a nice looking man to go on a date. Fabio's looked like not only a medical assistant, but a medical assistant on the Enterprise.
  18. I used to love the Muppets (hey, I had the Muppet Movie soundtrack on 8 track), but the "new" Muppets I can do without. Without Jim Henson, they're just not fun anymore. The magic is gone for me.
  19. I do too, and I think Jimmy would rather have Sir Paul on than Franco and Rogen.
  20. Eric looked pretty good to me! But Oliver--shirtless with a blazer--ew.
  21. I was really happy to see Kyle in the opening (which I LOVED) and then again as the 12 year old kid in the Mass sketch (which should be in SNL's yearly Christmas specials from now on). He was spot on as the kid with his mumbling and his sleeve pulled over his hand. I'm also finding I like Pete Davidson whenever he is on, he seems to rise to the occasion in every sketch he's involved in.
  22. I liked the pearls on the head and I liked the makeup, they were somewhat avant garde. What I didn't like was that pink monstrosity dress. It probably is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen on this show. How disappointing, if they had had more time someone could have made a fabulous masquerade ball gown. Does Michelle only design in the color green? I thought Gunnar's was awful until I saw Fabio's. Helen's dress was blah and overexposed at the same time. I actually liked Justin's dress, it seemed perfect for the occasion of gallery opening. All in all, disappointing runway.
  23. I enjoyed it, it seemed to have the fun factor to it. I'm a sucker for a Star Wars parody, so I loved the SW trailer. Bobby can be Princess Leia in reading glasses anytime, the reason why Cecily did not do it is because--hey, funnier with a dude in drag, just sayin.' I thought Peter Pan was cute, they must have altered the writing pretty quick when Walken proved lackluster. Tonkerbell made me laugh a bit but I think seeing her again is pushing it. Loved Password, very original. I guess I won't mind Mike O'Brien being banished to the writers' room as long as he gets to do stuff like this, highly original and funny. WU is just awful, I cringed though everything except for Colin's "take any my internet" joke. For me, if any of his jokes land it's because they smack of Seth Meyers' essence, I could see Seth delivering that joke and it being a riot. Che is the worst, just the worst. I thought Nicki Minaj showed up too much, we could have done without the Kardashian bit and been fine.
  24. Sam's fabric was so, so bad. It looked like one of those sweatshirts you buy in junior high and wear it until it's filthy and falling apart. I thought it was hideous. When I heard it would be a coat challenge I got excited, coats can be so beautiful, lovely tailoring in pretty jeweltones, but no. I think everyone trying to design something "cool" went overboard. Coats with butts hanging out? Coats with short sleeves???? No thanks.
