I did not watch, but I have heard about Walken's performance. A smart person on this thread said they should have cast Ewan MacGregor, and now I think that would have been fantastic!

EW has named Jimmy their Entertainer of the Year. Also--surprise--Jimmy had another daughter via surrogate--Frances Cole. Congrats.

I think Ted was phenomenal in S1.

How come every time I like the art of a tattoo, I hate the subject matter? I did like Cris, maybe it was his sad puppy dog eyes, or the bow tie, but yeah, he was just okay in the tattoo department. I'll take bow tie anyday over loud tank tops and flip flops.

Frankly, Jimmy giggling is one of my favorite things about SNL (which I love), and yes, he giggles in EVERY sketch he's in. It looks like he's having such fun. The Barney's sketch with Sean Hayes is so classic for just that thing.

I adore funny nerds. My new crush is Seth Meyers. I have always thought Jimmy Fallon was adorable. He's not a funny nerd but my 30 year old crush on Ted Danson has not abated yet.

Since we haven't had an episode in what--months? I've decided I don't miss this show and won't watch the new version. I do like George, so I hope he's going on to better things.

Jimmy and Tina also interacted hilariously, my favorite is still "Here is my room key, these are my panties, Jimmy Fallon!" And while I love Seth by himself, he and Amy at WU seemed to be having the time of their lives, especially toward Amy's last year or so. Che and Jost act like they've never met, much less have a little fun together.

Flat, lifeless acting, but with an English accent? Then that makes it all okay!

See, now I'm just going to have to rewatch. I thought it was too frenetic, but then, my husband was talking all the way through the episode, so I think I missed too much!

There have always been moments of cleverness--the alternate universe episode (including Stewie and Brian as an actual baby and dog), the Star Wars episodes, when Peter gets placed in classic sitcoms' opening titles.

Fun show! I enjoyed all the sketches, glad Leslie seems to have gotten her mojo back. Sasheer still does nothing for me. Love Baby Boss, I even liked the UPS poem. It seemed a good use of the entire cast. And hey, WU is funny! "If you want more on the immigration topic, bring it up to your grandfather at Thanksgiving." And agree on Bruno Mars as a performer, he's just sooo entertaining. I hoped he would pop up in a sketch, perhaps they are saving it for a second hosting gig.

Promos were good, I hope the show is as funny. Bruno Mars is a teeny tiny sized man but he's so cute!

I think the clever has left this series and they are relying more on gross-out humor than ever before (and we know it was always a staple). I think it may be time to wrap up the show for good.

My unpopular opinion: I know there are a lot of Shelley fans (if not here then elsewhere), and while she's good, I always thought Ted was either just as good, or better.

The preview looks HORRIBLE! This looks to be a trainwreck. Allison Williams seems so wooden and flat, is she saving her energy for the actual show? She needs a Red Bull or something.
