  1. He had more chemistry with the detached arm knocking on the table than he ever did with Jenna Dewan. I agree with other comments about the Bradford/Chen double date. It was totally lame and for neither one of them to realize how awkward it was for their dates, made if even more painful to watch. Ashley and Bradford have nothing in common and as much as I love Bradford as a cop, he seems like a total douche for a boyfriend. I knew that Italian cop was going to be trouble as soon as he explained his case. I like Grey out in the field, but this was a waste, IMO. I'm over Nolan being the union rep. I'm over Lopez and Wesley and their baby drama. Nyla being over the top cheerful and the other cops reacting to it was the best part of the episode!
  2. I don't think I can even "hate watch" this show anymore. It's so bad! The Darlene/Ben relationship has been over for a while, but yet they can't move on without either one of them being a jerk about it. At this point, I don't understand why Ben is even part of the show anymore? Because he works at the same place as Dan? (they rarely show Dan at work) And because he supposedly comes around to spend time with the kids? (which has happened once since they broke up.) As for Darlene, she is just a total drag! She's been miserable since she was a teenager so I don't see her changing...ever. I never liked Harris so I'm fine if she lives with Aldo and his psycho kids and they move away and are never heard from again. The "actress" who plays Becky is just awful! I cringe every time she opens her mouth and overacts.
  3. This episode was pretty weak. Bradford and his dad (sans Chen) were the only scenes really worth watching. I really don't want a Bradford/Chen hookup and I'm disappointed that the show is going in that direction. Bailey can leave any time now. She brings nothing to the table especially chemistry with Nolan! He's known her for like a month and he's already proposing. Give me a break! I'm so over Nyla and her ex husband/child custody drama. The Wesley and Elijah storyline was very anti climatic!
  4. This episode was pretty underwhelming. This season was a complete disappointment. I think if there's a season 2, it needs to be reworked, IMO. Maxine is really the only "new" character I liked, but I could do without her son. I wasn't really buying Allie as a CSI and I didn't care about her personal life at all. And I certainly don't want to see a hook up between her and the other guy. I would prefer if her character didn't return. I think the additional characters need to be fleshed out more. I feel like we know more about the quirky coroner than the rest of the CSIs/lab techs combined. I could take or leave Grissom and/or Sara. It would be nice to see a 1st year in the cast. Explaining the equipment and procedures as part of their training would make more sense instead of constantly discussing all of the advancements that have been made to Sara and Grissom as if they've been living under a rock since they left. Considering Grissom basically knows everything, I find it difficult to believe that he wouldn't have been reading up on all the latest technology used in law enforcement over the years.
  5. I like Eddie when it's not about Eddie. When he's in the "background" helping with rescues and having his bromance with Buck is when his character is at it's best. I'm over all of his brinks of death and personal dramas. I thought the lonely older lady who kept calling was eventually going to have a real emergency and no one would show up like the boy who cried wolf. But after Athena paid her a visit and she said she hadn't talked to her daughter in years because she told her she didn't like her husband, I was hoping one of the wives from the beginning scene was going to be standing on her porch when she opened the door. I did not miss Claudette. At. All. I liked Buck's bracelet gift. I actually want one.
  6. As of fan of the original and a longtime resident of Vegas, I was disappointed. I'm not feeling the new cast except for Maxine. Sara was one of my least favorites back in the day so I'm not thrilled that she's returning. Even though Nick left before the series ended, I would have liked to see him and Greg again. Wendy and David still working there would have been cool, especially if David took over Robbin's position. But instead we got a new group of good looking twenty somethings who know everything. Sigh... Why does every CSI show have to have a quirky character? This time around, the coroner seems to be the oddity. I thought at first the pawn shop was a junk yard since it was out in the middle of nowhere. I wasn't following that storyline. It seemed like it was rushed or disjointed or something. I felt like the writers were more concerned about explaining all the new technology rather than the actual plot. Didn't Catherine leave to go work for the FBI? I thought it was strange that Maxine said she met Brass at Catherine's retirement party since Catherine didn't work for LVPD anymore. Or am I thinking of Nick? Or am I thinking of someone from a different show? I don't like Hodges being the suspect or being framed as the suspect. A couple of nitpicks: Most, if not all of, Vegas homes do not have a crawlspace. Also, the tourist asking where Circus Circus was and the cop answering that was on the north end of the strip was correct except that they were all downtown. He and his family would definitely need to take a cab, not only because of the distance but because the area between the strip and downtown is very questionable, especially at night. Hopefully, the next few episodes are better otherwise, I think I'll have to let this one go.
  7. I'm hate watching this show so I didn't like this episode. I don't understand why Louise just couldn't tell Darlene the truth...that she's a complete buzzkill about EVERYTHING! I wouldn't even want her attending my wedding let alone, help with it. And who knew that Landford had Moroccan and Ethiopian restaurants. At least there was no Ben this episode. Harris looked lovely in the bridesmaid dress. Louise would have looked nice in something similar. I did not like the Becky sober sex plot. Becky only had sex when she was drunk? Seriously? What about all those years with Mark? I really wish they would have had Mike and Becky develop a romantic relationship instead of going with this friends with benefits/one night stand thing.
  8. I think Nolan (Nathan Fillion) is attractive, not HOT, but attractive. He's also my age (IRL). I think Jenna looks younger than her age, but IMO, I think the issue is she's just not right for the role. I'm not buying her as a female firefighter and I agree that she has no chemistry with Nolan. However this is TV, and the male star of the shows always have a super good looking, thin girlfriend/wife no matter how ugly, fat or dorky they are.
  9. I was disappointed in this episode as well. Like someone mentioned above, nobody else in the LAPD could figure out a jewelry heist except Jackson 2.0? And I'm not buying that a TikTok "star" knows all the details about how celebrities get their jewelry before an awards show. Maybe if the character was a son of a famous celebrity, that might be more believable. Tricia Helfer is very very thin! I'm over Chen and her puppy, but mainly Chen. And I'm pretty sure her apartment manager is going to be pissed with those graffiti looking walls. I could take or leave Nolan's new love interest. I wonder how long Bradford is going to last as a sergeant since he wants to be in the middle of the action.
  10. Didn't Albert get hurt? I remember him doing food delivery or something last season and he was on the freeway with the drunk driver lady. He was in the hospital, close to death, but he survived. I also remember him doing therapy.
  11. Lou was found out in the desert in the middle of summer after FIVE days with his throat slit and he's still alive? Come on! It never occurred to Athena or her captain that her house/family would be targeted because she too was a victim? I'm believe this even less than Lou surviving without water and sliced jugular for 5 days! Michael hosts the entire neighborhood at Athena's because they have a generator. Ok, fine. But if it's so hot outside, why is everyone sitting in the backyard? Why wouldn't they all be sitting inside the house with the sliding glass door CLOSED enjoying the AC? And why wouldn't he be cooking up the neighbor's food that is going to spoil, etc instead of grilling Athena's steaks? I liked the idea of the saving the kid on the ventilator using the power from the solar paneled house. I had to laugh though that every neighbor only had one indoor extension cord and not one person had an outdoor cord. Maddie's needs to find a new doctor! And Chimney isn't very observant if this has been going on for months and he doesn't see her getting better. What happened to his grandma/aunt/family friend who offered to watch the baby? I don't know why Eddie is so anxious about Ana . All this time, he seemed really into her but now he's having panic attacks because twice someone mistakenly thought she was his wife? What happened to all the people downtown? All those cars and businesses and yet the entire area was a ghost town except for those 2 guys that were bit by the alpacas.
  12. Disappointed that Jackson was killed, but I'm glad the La Fiera storyline is over. Now Lopez will have to deal with Wes's shady business relationships. Please NO Chen and Bradford hookup - EVER! Usually this show is a light hearted drama, but when they want a powerful death scene, they know how to bring it. Captain Anderson in S1 getting shot in the pool, La Fiera leaning against the chain link fence after being shot in this episode.
  13. I'm in the minority here...I thought this episode was awful. I didn't see the point of Mark's calling random Connors. Maybe the idea was good, but the execution fell flat. I'm over Darlene and Ben. At this point, Ben doesn't want a relationship with Darlene and he doesn't really bring anything else to the table as a character so I don't understand why he's still on the show? I would love to see Darlene join a dating website and meet someone different every week. I like Louise but she wants to spend a lot of money/have a big wedding because she thinks that will make her marriage better? Seriously? I would think since she knows Dan is already in financial trouble and was never good with money, she would save her money so they would have something to fall back on in the future if needed. Since when did the Lunch Box become a sports bar? I didn't really miss Becky.
  14. Per Wikipedia: In 1992, she allegedly began a five-year affair with Andy Bleiler, her married former high school drama instructor.[16] In 1993, she enrolled at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1995.[3][1][13] In an appearance on Larry King Live in 2000, she revealed that she started an affair with a 40-year-old married man in Los Angeles when she was 18 years old, and that the affair continued while she was attending Lewis & Clark College in the early '90s. She did not reveal the man's identity.[17] (references: [16]Clairborne, William (January 28, 1998). "Lewinsky's Former Teacher Discloses Affair". The Washington Post. p. A22. [17] "Monica Lewinsky Once Revealed She Had A Relationship With A Married Man Prior To Bill Clinton Affair". USA News Site.
  15. I don't think Monica was unhinged. I agree that Monica was lonely and had very low self esteem and Clinton totally preyed upon that. Knowing that her affair with Clinton was not her first (or second) relationship with a married man, and she was only 22, leads me to believe she is not as innocent and naive as the show is making her out to be. Also, they are making Linda Tripp completely unlikeable and pathetic as possible. Since Monica is an executive producer, I'm assuming she had a lot of input of how the story was written and is trying to portray herself to the public as more of a victim of Clinton and Tripp. Don't get me wrong, I think was totally taken advantage of by both of them, but she's not without fault. I'm not liking Clive Owen as Bill Clinton. He doesn't really look like him and he's not coming across as this charming captivating man that he's been described as by people who've met him. After all these years, it still bothers me that Clinton came out of this scandal the least scathed while Tripp and Lewinsky were completely vilified in the press and public opinion and still to this day!
  16. So far, I'm enjoying this. I thought it was going to be more about Monica. I'm assuming this first episode was concentrated on Linda Tripp to establish that she was a horrible person in case someone wasn't familiar with the story. I agree with other posters in that Edie Falco shouldn't have been cast as Hillary. I also think Betty Gilpin would have been a better Ann Coulter, but Colbie Smulders is fine. The actress playing Paula Jones is excellent. Sarah Paulsen is good as Linda Tripp, but I'm tired of seeing her in every Ryan Murphy show. I'm on the fence about the actress playing Monica. I can't tell if she is being portrayed as too naive and innocent or if that's just Beanie. I also think she's a lot shorter and heavier than Monica so that's bothering me too. It's strange that the casting/makeup is so meticulous for certain characters ...Linda Tripp, Paula Jones, etc but other characters, not so much (Hillary Clinton, Monica Lewinsky). The same thing happened in The People vs OJ Simpson. Marcia Clark, Johnny Cochran, etc were spot on, but Cuba Gooding Jr as OJ was odd. He was so much smaller than OJ that he was never believable. I've enjoyed the previous ACS so I'll definitely continue watching this one, even though it wasn't necessarily a crime, more like a scandal.
  17. I was surprised that Dan died. I actually was expecting Maze to give him her soul since she didn't want it anymore. What did Lucifer say to Dan's killer at the end? I know he was on his knees afterward, but I don't remember seeing him being killed by Lucifer or Maze. I'll miss Dan - I was actually wanting him and Ella to get together.
  18. I was definitely disappointed that this was the finale. I didn't like the Adam cancer storyline. I didn't like introducing the new characters, etc. It would have been nice to have the episode centered around Tammy's sober birthday (instead of a few episodes back) and have the girls reflect on how far they've all come, etc over the years. They could have had Jill mention she was getting married and give Bonnie a throw away line about why Christy couldn't be there. The final scene could have been Wendy asking if anyone else wanted to share and then have Shannon raise her hand while her mom was sitting next to her. The show would have come full circle.
  19. Hopefully, Chen never has to go undercover where flirting is required because she would be killed immediately! A wet noodle would have been more believable. I knew something was going to happen with Lopez and La Fiera. I'm not in law enforcement or a drug lord, but I would think La Fiera could put a hit out on Lopez (or Chen or any of the arresting officers) from behind bars so I was surprised there weren't any on duty officers stationed at the wedding. Harper looked gorgeous!! I'm disappointed Smitty wasn't DJ'ing
  20. I've streamed the first five episodes. I did a lot of fast forwarding. Her personality is a bit much. She would be fun to have at a party, but if I'm spending $50,000, I want to deal with someone a little more professional. Her renovations are well done and she has some great ideas. However, some of the her designs don't seem very smart overall. For example, the pool house. I would think if people are swimming and partying, I wouldn't want upholstered chairs and a heavy wood table in the dining room. The episode with the wine rack and two younger children was decorated with WHITE furniture in both the living room and the PLAYROOM! Overall, it's a good show and I like that there are two different clients per each episode and she renovates multiple rooms.
  21. I was surprised that TK and Carlos's house didn't have any smoke detectors. If they were hooked up to the security system, then I'm surprised they wouldn't have at least one stand alone that was battery operated. I would have thought Owen would want to check his house to see if the arsonist left him any presents or at least have a line saying he checked it. I'm glad this storyline is over. I hope Tommy's husband isn't dead.
  22. I would have rather had the husband mention on the video that he already completed everything to legally have Michaela be the woman's guardian. Instead, he talks about giving her the house. A nice house in NYC would get a lot of $$$$ that could go towards putting the mother/wife in nice facility. I thought it was even more fat fetched that they called one place (off screen) and an hour later, someone is there to pick the woman up.
  23. I used to like this show a lot more, and it's still enjoyable, but I think it's run it's course. At this point, I'm liking the kid's friends more than anyone else. Tripp, Cooper and Oliver are the characters that stand out. I'm disappointed that Katy is pregnant because it feels like lazy writing. Usually shows introduced a new baby because they've run out of ideas. If this show has another season, I guarantee it will be the last. I liked Joel McHale as Cooper's dad, but then again, JH is great in everything! I still can't warm up to Katy's new breakfast friends - I liked Doris and Angela so much better as well as the original Anna Kat.
  24. Toks has a British accent in real life. I believe she talked with her real accent when she appeared in Castle, but on the Rookie, she's always spoke with an American accent.
  25. I liked the pilot better. I think this show has a lot of potential but it's trying way too hard. Karla and Topher have absolutely no chemistry so I can't see them as a married couple. I think she was miscast - she is way better in dramatic roles.
