  1. I just watched the first season over the last week. I think I need to rewatch it because I am completely confused and feel like a missed so many details. I need some Cliff Notes for this show! ๐Ÿ˜„ What's the deal with Petey? I get that they made a plan to do the Overtime Contingency. Keir Egan is Helly's dad? I don't know why I thought he was dead? Is he the board? Harmony got fired so why does she care if the people know they are severed? If anything, I would think she would be on their side now. Why does Irving have all those newspaper clippings, employee lists, etc? It looks like he was trying to expose Lumon before he was severed. All this stuff is at his house, but he doesn't know to look at until he's not severed? I get that Ms. Casey is Mark's wife who he thought was dead and doesn't know she is his wife. That part is really the only thing I understand about this entire series. ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  2. I thought it was a pretty good series. Definitely had to suspend belief in a lot of the situations, but all in all, it was entertaining. I wasn't expecting the ex wife twist. I fell for the red herring of Jo's wife being kidnapped, not a flashback of Wier's ex wife. Obviously, the person on the other end of the earpiece in Crawley's ear is the villan for season 2. Hope they bring Kyle back. I can do without Jo's daughter and her BS. Also, I don't mind the flashbacks intertwined with the present day, but I can do without Weir's fantasy scenarios. Biggest complaint of the series is NO ONE except for the kid at the electronics store recognized Weir. The dude is plastered all over the news and I'm assuming social media, but no police officers or fbi agents or any people on the street notice him? Also, he's in that high tech vault setting off the sensors, yet there is not one camera in this super secure room capturing him walking outside the lines on purpose or Hailey removing the key from the box? Glad Ed survived...I was getting a bit worried there at the end. He and Kyle were my favorite characters.
  3. This was a total dumpster fire!! The actual story had so much potential to be turned into something awesome since it's creepy in real life, but unfortunately Ryan Muphy ruined it before the 1st episode was over! I can't believe there is going to be a season 2 of this!!
  4. Every episode is worse than the previous! I hate the John List murders were intertwined with this one especially since it happened 20+ years earlier. The real life Watcher story is so intriguing and mysterious and had so much potential to be turned into something great. This series on the otherhand, is 99.999999% fiction and a total dumpster fire! Glad there is only a few eps left.
  5. This episode was awful. I'm assuming Trey killed the bad guy or if Josh did, Trey is going to take the fall for his bro. The stupid storyline of the Allie/ Serena/ Josh triangle will have to drag on so nothing is going to happen to Josh. Although he should be fired immediately for his actions while interigating the guy, he'll probably be put on a short suspension, if that. I don't understand why Allie was chose for the promotion? Max admitted she's inexperienced, etc but she's a hard worker so that makes her qualified? On a super vain note, Marg H looks like she's losing her hair and her hairstyle isn't doing her any favors.
  6. So far, Iโ€™ve leaned Jason is very high maintenance! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. I stand corrected. I thought it was an internship at a boutique - I didn't hear that it was specifically for a sales position.
  8. THIS! I thought Dee was downright rude to Stacey about what personal choices Stacey made to pay the bills. Nobody with financial privilege (Dee) should shame someone else for how they earn a living. I don't think Stacey needed to defend her choices to an entitled teenager who has no idea how the real world works when it comes to making compromises/sacrifices at a job in order to keep a roof over her head, pay her student loans, etc. Plus, Dee's snide comment about Stacey having the day off because she was wearing her hair natural, was completely uncalled for. I think Dee's story had so much potential, unfortunately it was so poorly written! Braids or not, I thought it was quite arrogant of Dee to complain about working in the backroom. She has no experience and most businesses have unexperienced employees start in the back and move up. I don't understand how she would think she would be put out on the floor her first day not knowing anything about the merchandise, inventory, etc.
  9. I was wondering that too especially since THEY were the ones that went looking into the disturbance after hearing something in the alley. I was bothered by the fact that neither one of them had their gun out while investigating! Chen and Bradford did the same thing - Bradford finally put his hand on his holster when they heard a noise from the hallway. I'm not a cop, but I would think having your weapon drawn would be Police 101 when you're looking for bad guys. YES!!!! Or at least their feet! I don't know which fight was more ridiculous - Chen / Bradford against the bad guys on the fire escape or Nolan / Bailey getting their a$$es kicked, and Bailey doesn't have a scratch on her yet Nolan's face is cut up. Since they all knew they were being targeted, I thought it was pretty stupid for all of them to be at the same hospital at the same time (for various reasons) along with one of the suspects. I really thought Lopez was going to fight off the bad guys while in labor just like Nyla did. They were all pretty quick to decipher the riddle which basically told them nothing except it was dialogue from a play. I totally lol'ed when Chen said they checked all the costume shops in S Cal and non of them sold the masks. Does she or the dept not realize people can buy stuff off the internet? Was the nurse who came in to change Aaron's IV bag one of the suspects? I thought it was odd they specifically showed her looking at Celina. I couldn't tell if she matched the woman from the white board photos. If she was, I'm assuming that's why Aaron was coding. As the show continued, I was paying less and less attention. How did they know it was the guy who served time for elder abuse? And who was the guy at the end in the limo boasting about distracting the LAPD (but only the Mid-Wilshire dept?) so he could carry out an even bigger crime? I definitely don't want AI generating scripts, but the writers really need to step it up. Lately, this show has been more misses than hits, IMO.
  10. This show has really gone downhill! STR plot was awful! I can't stand Chen no matter what she is doing! Lopez looked like she still had a couple of months to go so her schtick seemed really OTT! I was really over it when she was struggling to walk up the stairs! Seriously?? Don't even get me started on Bailey!!! She's even more annoying as STR! The only positive for this ep was it wasn't so Dolan centered.
  11. I'm a few years late to the party, but wanted to add my two cents. I LOVED seasons 1 and 2! This season was a mess! So many plot holes, too much filler, etc. Ep 9 and the first half of ep 10 were more like the previous seasons, but he rest of the eps were badly written and poorly executed. The only character I liked was the Gloria the sheriff. I thought her storyline was going to be interesting with her trying to figure out who her stepdad was, etc. Unfortunately, that was a total letdown. I didn't like any of the other characters and couldn't have cared less if they got killed. I'm 30 mins in on season 4 and I'm already bored and disappointed. Sigh...
  12. I'm with everyone else on the Darlene being a lunch lady is stupid. Even if Darlene's management job was low paying, she would still be earning at least twice more than a lunch lady (not to mention health insurance, benefits and a 401k). So if Mark is currently a junior in HS, she could easily save a portion of her manager pay for the next year and used it towards Mark's first year or least first semester of school (instead of saving money for a car for Mark like she had planned). If that isn't feasible, why can't Mark go to community college for the first year and then transfer to his "dream school" after that? Even if that wouldn't work, she could save money over the next 5 years and pay a good chunk of his student loans after he graduates. I'm just not understanding Darlene going through all of this because Mark deserves the "college experience". I assume he would be living at home and not the dorm since it seems close by so what is the "experience" they both feel like Mark would be missing out on if he went to community college? Has it even been mentioned what he wants to major in?
  13. Will someone please explain to me why Mark couldn't work at the college cafeteria to get the paid tuition instead of Darlene quitting her manager job? I find it unbelievable that Neville would even think about driving while intoxicated. Him (he?) getting drunk seemed completely out of character so I'm not buying the drunk driving plotline and Dan taking the fall just to show a point about how family helping each other.
  14. Greg seemed very weird to me this episode. I don't know if it was Eric Szmanda's bad acting or the character's know it all attitude. But his Mark Zuckerberg haircut wasn't helping. I don't want a Josh / Allie romance. Even though Trey was a total dirtbag, he was easy on the eyes. I like the new/temp coroner.
  15. I totally agree! I find it difficult to believe that the abusive fiancรฉ would go after Marjan especially knowing which bus Kylie had boarded and where she was headed. It would have been nice to see Kylie checking in on Marjan at the end of the episode. That's pretty much the character he played on The Grinder - it worked on that show because it was comedy.
  16. I agree with everyone else about Owen taking over the wedding planning! So stupid! Aside from Marjan rescuing the girl, was there an actual rescue after the car on the power line? I'd much rather see some more firefighting/medical emergencies than Owen being Dadzilla! I didn't care for the Gabby Pettito storyline. Marjan putting herself in danger multiple times trying to help this girl who obviously wasn't ready to leave. If this guy is capable of killing his girlfriend, what would stop him from murdering a stranger out in the middle of nowhere? Even though the boyfriend got arrested and it had a happier ending the true story, I'm pretty sure this isn't the end of it.
  17. I guess I'm in the minority here because I thought the Darlene / Ben storyline was awful! They've had sex once since they moved into that house - they've lived there for months! As a newlywed couple, I would think this would have been brought up way before now. Darlene trying to talk / be sexy with Ben was total cringe! They literally have no chemistry together and Darlene acting so over the top trying to get his attention was frustrating to watch - like she wouldn't know what would turn him on. I just can't buy them as a couple...at all. I thought when he was lying to her about having to stay at work, he was having an affair.
  18. From what I remember hearing, he was brought in as a fill in for an off screen character that had never been mentioned until this ep. I don't think he is a current employee because he mentioned something about working on a book since he left CSI. It would have been nice to see Greg running the lab or at least having some type of supervisory role when the series returned instead of bringing him back halfway through season 2. Then again, it would have been nice to see David as the medical examiner and Wendy and Archie promoted as well. I feel like anyone from the old series who is brought into this series is wasted. Brass was on the first ep and never spoken of again. Hodges being framed was a lame storyline, Catherine with her daughter and dead student drama and now Greg.
  19. This show is just awful...even just as background noise! Simone is the worst character on the show! When she's not on screen, the show is so much better! I especially noticed it on one of the crossover eps (or maybe it was an ep of The Rookie that just had some Rookie Fed cast members). I like Niecy Nash, but I don't think this is the right fit for her and it drives me crazy that she dresses so unprofessional!
  20. This week's episode was soooooo much better than last week! I wish Nolan was wrong about the cop. Can he just be wrong once in a while? I like Celina, but I was hoping her storyline would have taken the entire season to solve instead of literally one day. I hate Chen and Bradford as a couple!!
  21. And Nolan solves 99% of them, but sometimes he needs Baileyโ€™s help. ๐Ÿ™„
  22. There definitely was a lot of plot holes in this episode, but it was one of the best ones since the series returned. Regina Taylor knocked it out of the park! I would have preferred if she didn't die at the end. I agree with the others about Greg not being needed. I didn't miss Catherine at all. I liked that it seemed most of the supporting characters had equal time on screen. I think they were trying to make one of them the red herring. I totally forgot about the diver until they showed his pic. Since they knew the gun belonged to someone older and showed all the family members it could belong to now, I thought they were going to do some genetic genealogy. Instead, looking at pics of driver's licenses is all it took to solve the case. Sigh...
  23. I think she was released/not charged with a crime. The cherry on this stupid, beyond ridiculous, completely unrealistic sundae of an episode.
  24. I hope it's not Karen's dirtbag ex girlfriend! Maybe Eddie's old girlfriend? I think she was Christopher's teacher. BTW, whatever happened to Lucy? I hope she's not coming back.
  25. The Killian restaurant storyline is ridiculous! For the first few eps, I thought he and Corrine were married, then I realized they weren't. He's put a bunch of his money up for her and his name is on nothing?! Idiot! I guess that worked out in his favor though since she's having problems. However, now he's willing to go work for some shady businessman so he can keep his ex girlfriend - who wants nothing to with him - in business? Beyond stupid! I can do without Brandy's mom. I find it hard to believe that a rich older man just gives a recently recovering addict a beautiful condo to live in rent free. IRL, it would be to a woman half her age and with plenty of strings attached. I like most of the characters, but I think my favorite at this point is Richard Kind's character. I'm glad they toned down his quirkiness a bit.
