  1. I liked the Navarre Fl couple. He was picky and particular, but at least they both had a good sense of humor about it. I liked in the beginning that he bragged about her job since she didn't know how to describe her career because she wasn't practicing law at the moment.
  2. Manhattan Beach: I wish they didn't move the sink and the stove. They lost the window so that huge ugly hood could be installed. Then the back door was taken out as well. So much $$$ wasted to move the plumbing and gas and no natural light. All of it was totally unnecessary. What is Nate's obsession with banquettes? The countertops were way too busy. I liked the natural colored wood floors. When there's so much white, the lighter floors make the house feel warmer. Island Breeze: I loved this family! The design...not so much. The kitchen was beautiful! However, the long built in seating was a big fail, IMO. It looked very uncomfortable and out of place. Plus, having the long banquette in the dining room make it look even weirder. I understand covering up the fireplace since they never used it, but I think a nice comfy sectional would have looked (and felt) so much better. They definitely should have installed a desk in the father's room. I wish they would have done a custom nightstand on one side of the bed to hide the mini fridge instead of that huge cabinet under the TV. The father seemed very easy going and easy to please so I don't understand why N & J went so over the top with seating areas (and $$$) on his room. Nate saying the heated floors weren't expensive at almost $9000 was ridiculous. That was a good chunk of her budget that could have been spent on something more important (like living room furniture). I think N & J wouldn't have to "call in so many favors" if they were more down to earth when it came to recognizing that everyone isn't as rich as them. They could easily find less expensive accessories, furniture and materials that would be just as nice and function just as well.
  3. I have a feeling Ritter will be the only casualty. His character doesn't really do much and won't be missed. Plus, I'm pretty sure I read that all the main characters renewed their contracts. I like Brett with the Pastor, but we all know it's not going to last. Hopefully next season, the show will do away with these hokey B plots. They're getting old and are never funny.
  4. He totally reminded me of Dog the Bounty Hunter. I loved reading the comments about Buck and Eddie on the influencer's website. I know I've said it before, but JLH really needs to part her hair on the side instead of straight down the middle. I didn't know they were doing a 911 Texas version. I'll watch anything with Rob Lowe!
  5. I agree about the LI wife...she was horrible. I don't know what the husband saw in her. While I was watching, I kept thinking that the Astoria couple should move out of Queens and move to Long Island instead.
  6. Between the vocal fry coming from the buyer, roommate and the realtor and the over use of the word "amazing", I did a lot of fast forwarding. I know her budget was around $125k, did she stick to it? Was there a reason the dishwasher couldn't go on the other side of the sink instead of right next to the oven? Not only would it have looked better, but then the stove and hood wouldn't have been so off centered. And yes, that was totally noticeable and looked like an obvious mistake.
  7. I didn't really like this one. The foyer art was lovely, but I think it was too much. If it was just limited to one wall and the design/color was added as some accent pieces (throw pillows, a vase, etc) in the living and dining room, I think it would have looked better. For someone who favors neutrals/blacks and whites, there was a lot of blue! A lot! Again with the light colored furniture with three kids under the age of 6! I'm glad N & J talked to the homeowners about the children having their own rooms. I don't understand these people who are so concerned with having a dedicated guest room that would rarely be used rather than utilizing it as a space that would be used on a daily basis - a child's bedroom, play area, office, etc (Looking at you House Hunters/International) The little girl's room was very pretty, but she didn't seem too impressed with it.
  8. I'm glad it was wrapped up since the show has officially been canceled. However, it could have been so much better. Bellows pushing the cult guy off the edge was so badly done that it was laughable. So does Levi not have addiction issues anymore since it hasn't been addressed for at least 6 or 7 episodes? Did he ever get a job? What happened with Eazy and his wife? Did they get divorced? I didn't understand the allure of the cult guy. He looked like he just climbed out of dumpster (both past and present) and the personality of a wet mop, yet all these teen girls were so in love with him? Nope. The entire cult plotline was stupid.
  9. I loved them! I wish all the buyers were that nice to each other! I liked at the end that he had valid reasons for why they didn't choose house #2 or #3. Also, they had no manufactured drama or silly demands. Her issue with the mirrors at night was a cultural thing so I give her a pass on it. I cracked up when they toured one of the bathrooms/closets and there were mirrors everywhere! They even joked about it. They were so easy going. You could definitely see the love and respect they had for each other. It was nice to see the other brother join them at the end. I want them to be my neighbors. ☺
  10. Agree to all of this!! She was super annoying when the husband/boyfriend was excited about watching movies with the kids in the nice finished basement and she complained because she wanted everyone upstairs with her. Seriously? And the stove had to be in the island because she didn't want her back to everyone while she was cooking. But in true HH fashion, they or should I say SHE, picked the house with everything she whined about the most. On a vain note, she needs to buy her clothes at least one size larger. And if I never see a marriage proposal on HH again, that would be great!
  11. I agree about the Maddie plot being too over the top. If the show wanted to do a public thank you to the 911 dispatchers, I would have preferred to see an operator who had been there many years and was going to retire, not someone who was just hired a few months ago and was thinking about quitting so she could go back to being a nurse. I'm glad Eddie's wife will no longer be around. Abuelita didn't seem too upset about her death. The candy guy licking the sample cup and scraping it with his fingers and then trying to dip it back in the chocolate completely grossed me out.
  12. SF Bay Area: OMG with that mother/realtor!! I would have taken the first house just for the fact that it was a 50 min drive away from her! I can't see that marriage lasting very long. The wife seemed kind of meh towards the husband and then add Marie Barone to the mix and I see them moving to Splitsville in the future. St Louis: The buyer was kind of annoying. I couldn't tell if she was flirting with her friend or just trying too hard...maybe both? I didn't understand why she needed such a huge house. Or why she needed a "grand staircase to make an entrance." She was single and living alone!
  13. That was cringe worthy! You could see that Jeremiah was trying not to laugh because he knew it was so absurd. I'm really surprised that since N and J have two very young children, that they would be more conscious of decorating for a family. This couple had a 1 and 3 year old and they put a light colored couch and two large white chairs in the family room?! Overall, it was a nice design, but $183k? No, just no. I understand the glass doors and the staircase ate up a third of the homeowner's budget, but I just can't wrap my brain around the remaining $150k spent on cosmetic elements for three rooms. I wish they didn't hang the TV over the fireplace - it looked better on that huge empty wall where it was hung previously. A couple of vain notes, the wife was beautiful!! She was naturally stunning. And Nate looks even more handsome with glasses.
  14. Agree!! She was so loud and so annoying! The constant commenting about a place for her wine glass while folding laundry wore thin the first time she said it! I appreciated that he was a carpenter and paid attention to the details (or lack there of) without being obnoxious about it. He also tried to explain to her why the doors and cabinetry could be better and she just totally disregarded him. Plus, she didn't know what a hollow core door was? He told her and she still didn't get it when she asked if the kitchen cabinets were hollow core at the next house. UGH!
  15. Yes and he had the patience of a saint too because both the husband and wife were total jerks! I'm putting them in my top 10 of horrible HH people. The constant bitching about not having an island or double vanities, or the tiny kitchens or the lack of carpeting instead of the beautiful hardwood floors. The realtor was trying to give them helpful suggestions/solutions and they immediately shut him down...rudely. I had to roll my eyes when they complained about it being impossible to get ready together since there was only one sink in the bathroom. Seriously?! The husband would need the sink for 2 minutes to brush his teeth and he'd be ready! I wonder if the mom said their $600k budget was too much because she was paying for it or most of it? On a non relevant note, I was so annoyed that she was cutting all that fruit with a flippin' steak knife! Plus, she talked so slow...ugh!!

  17. It was mentioned on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah last night. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=605533879949899&id=7976226799&refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fwatch%2F&_rdr
  18. Another episode where one of the kids treats Beverly like garbage. And the other two siblings treat each other like garbage. I think the show has run it's course and this season proves it.
  19. It been reduced again. Now it's down to $449k. It's been listed for 134 days and counting... https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4317-Apex-Dr-Las-Vegas-NV-89147/7136379_zpid/ Tonight's episodes were both awful! Aubrey needs to stick to one type of texture for an accent. Metal, brick and wood all in a "tiny" condo is just way too much!! Her built-ins are always so huge and they make the room that much smaller. If she scaled them back, as well as the accessories and "glam" by 50%, the outcomes would look so much better. Again with her saying this "condo on the strip." Nope. It's in the same complex as the other 3 they did this season - at least a 10 min drive to the entrance of the strip. I agree with the broker - way too much blue! She could have used more neutral colors in a couple of the rooms and used blue accessories and linens to tie the house together. Same with the pink house. The pink shower tile looked very outdated. The white tile should have been used all the way down instead along with a pink curtain or pink towels. It would have been way more pleasing to potential buyers.
  20. Auditing, auditing and more auditing which translate to $$$$, $$$$ and more $$$$. Plus, they'll probably have to clean/disinfect the entire ship top to bottom with bleach and a toothbrush for the remainder of their life. I can guarantee that person will be blamed for getting measles in the first place. They should have been able to ward off disease with their super $cientology powers.

  22. I thought the agent not walking through the house with the buyers was strange too. At house #3 the realtor was already getting into her car to leave as the buyers were finishing up their tour of the house. Super weird! The wife was super annoying. I'm assuming the husband didn't have a say in which house she chose and he bought. And what was up with her "high end boutique" in the house? It didn't look very high end. She told the "customer" everything was 80% off. I don't know if that's a good thing or not as a business owner.
  23. I thought she said "Why didn't you save us?" Either way, that scene was devastating. I still don't understand how Bobby was cleared. Yes, there were many factors that lined up that caused the end result. However, Bobby was drunk AND high. I would think having drugs in his system would be an automatic termination whether he started the fire or not. Plus, I would think as a fire chief, he would know not to leave a space heater unattended and notice the fire alarms and sprinkler systems, etc were faulty. For those reasons alone, I would think he was incompetent to be a fire chief. I didn't miss Maddie or Buck. I actually would prefer Tommy and Sal to replace them. I did laugh when Bobby commented why there was so much traffic at 2pm. And Chimney being scar free. Ha!
  24. The design was ok, but the WHITE ottoman?! With 2 boys, not to mention all of the other kids from the extended family. I didn't understand the constant harping about not being able to see the kids from the kitchen. They were 6 and 8, not 1 and 2!! Overall, it was a good episode, however it bugged me that no mentioned eating outdoors. They had a big beautiful backyard, why was that never brought up for dining al fresco? Nate and Jeremiah should have installed those folding glass doors (like the ones in the hoarders bedroom episode). Not only would the family have a much better view of the backyard, but those 30+ people wouldn't still be all on top of each other.
  25. And she always looks like she just rolled out of bed. The Tammy/Bonnie plotline was one of the best this show has done. I didn't care for Tammy in the beginning because she was so loud and over the top obnoxious. Now that her character has been toned down (a lot), I think she is a good addition to the cast.
