I just watched a trailer for the next iteration of the Bring it On! franchise and it is blatantly a teen slasher film, which makes me sad. The original movie is one of my guilty pleasures. I'm sure there were earlier ones, but this is the one I remember. In addition, the original actually presage the upcoming world of social media.
