  2. I feel so out of it. Ken said, "You had to think of the Parthenon in Nashville," and all three of the contestants went "Ohhhh, yeah!" Meanwhile, I went, "There's a Parthenon in Nashville?"

  4. MaryLand is a 3 part British series from ITV. It will premiere on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday, May 5 at 9pm EDT.
  5. This was worse than a Hallmark Channel movie. From Book's trite and sappy log entry to all the declarations of undying love. Tonight, a very special episode of "Soulmates in Space." Oh, and it just had to be an Enterprise in the wormhole, didn't it? Not a Yorktown or a Farragut or a Potemkin, nope of all the ships in the Mirror Universe it had to be an Enterprise, because cheap feels, right? "That was my brother's station." Sniff. Has anyone noticed just how bad Burnham's dialogue is? "It's a mystery and it's up to us to solve it!" or whatever the fuck she said. No Saru = a small mercy. I predict that in years to come, Discovery will be widely regarded as the Highlander II of the Star Trek franchise (or even worse, Highlander: The Source).

  12. braised chicken with mushrooms
  13. I think the problem is the evidence of the pattern is the women testifying there is a pattern. At least he isn't going free. Now he can be sent to CA and begin his sentence there.
  14. yeah who were they? I gathered that the blond (?) guy had a restaurant? Maybe where they were eating? And maybe that he does "chaos food" whatever that is? Who was the woman? I see someone found a chyron of her name. I gather she is some sort of food journalist. I imagine this showing won't add much to her following LOL.
  15. Suze O. jumped ship from QVC to KYV a while back. Wonder if she regrets it now. I think she'd relate more, brand-wise, to the commoners rather than to the fancy posers. These "Number over Number" club gimmicks are tiring. So much for unity and inclusion. Just hawk your overpriced crap and go count your money. I don't find any of these women inspiring. Bradley Cooper? Joe must have been busy taking calls from world leaders.
  16. To be fair, even George agreed with him. It’s so typical of Sheldon. He looks down on geology because the girl who got him into it (and probably had a crush on) called him a child. He disses engineering because the professor challenged him. And he can’t bring himself to admit he turned down MIT because of the weather, so he acted like it was beneath him. But he shouldn’t beat himself up over it: CalTech is a great school and things worked out great for him there.
  17. Another Deadline article suggested that the two episodes were added to "wrap up" Spencer's storyline, and that the show would likely be renewed but start over with a new cast to keep things cheaper. https://deadline.com/2024/04/cw-canceled-renewed-all-american-homecoming-walker-status-1235889923/ I don't agree with the line in the article that talks about new cast "breathing life into an older show." If they have decided to wrap up the story (which may be a good idea), then the show should end. If they want to launch a new show (maybe around Deion who was introduced this season?), then include All American in the title, but give it a slightly different name. I don't know if they intend to have any returnees in this scenario, but it still wouldn't be the same show, regardless of what the CW thinks.
  18. Today
  19. Thirty seconds later, Molly made the mistake of using the word "alcohol," and TJ yelled, "KRISTINA WAS DRINKING?!" If Molly hadn't clarified that it was Josslyn drinking, I think TJ was going to make a beeline for Kristina to...who knows? Imprison her like Nikolas did with Esme, maybe. TJ is as quick to get agitated as Sonny is, but we have a story reason for Sonny. I have a hard time figuring out what they (both E-Trick and Chris/Dan) want us to think TJ's personality is. I also wonder how much this actor's delivery is responsible. To me, he always seems a little too intense about whatever the emotional sate is.
  20. The next thing will probably be deodorants for other people's bodies, so if someone's aroma offends you, you can spray them discreetly from a distance.
  21. A magically growing boy, because he stole a body. I liked the mayor and his wife, on the phone. That was sweet.
  22. Best line of the night, Hetty taking a shot at Jay by saying, "Man, you're a chef." The fact that he couldn't hear her just made it better. They are bound to the land, just like some of our ghosts, who have been at Woodstone before the mansion was built.
  23. Rusty came through!! Next Schwartz tattoo: Gloves! I love gloves! Ronnie & Ben riff on Rusty’s name. He works at a tattoo parlor! Maybe Hepatitis was working on another client.
  24. Does anyone need to be good at directions anymore? GPS.
  25. Saddened and surprised to see the mom had passed away. Covid really wrecked a lot of families. But in the end, also surprised and quite happy to see Breia had lost so much weight. I hope she finds her happiness and peace.
