sainte-chapelle February 22, 2022 Share February 22, 2022 https://screenrant.com/90-day-fiance-omar-avery-wedding-anniversary/ Nice to see an update from an authentic couple. I didn’t much care for Avery but I think Omar is a good match for her, she seems to have really matured. 1 6 Link to comment

UniqueHandle February 23, 2022 Share February 23, 2022 Every time I see their name up high on the list I think "please don't let this be bad news, please don't let this be bad news." I am ALWAYS relieved when it is something happy about them. ❤️ 8 Link to comment

The common deviated septum or the trend of buffalo fat removal. It is possible that she did get hit by a suitcase but having it land on the face is odd. 1 Link to comment

Not if she was pulling it down from a shelf that is taller than she is - and she is short. Every time I pull luggage out of an overhead bin, I fear for my face. 1 1 2 1 Link to comment

I have a scar on my chin from a shelf coming down on my face when I was pulling inventory out of my store's back room. I was removing splinters for months lol. Helluva time to find out that the previous manager didn't make sure the shelves were secured when he installed them. Only reason anyone still believes me is the sales associate with me at the time wound up with 4 broken toes as a result of the same shelf. I haven't watched much in the 90DF universe for a couple of years now, but I am happy to see that this crazy couple seems to be making it work. Refreshing, given the shitshow the rest of the cast has become. 2 3 Link to comment
Mondrianyone November 25, 2022 Share November 25, 2022 Did you take your screen name from the shelf accident? I guess it really did have a lasting effect! They say that scars are reminders of all the things that tried to destroy us and failed, so I hope you wear yours proudly. 🤕 2 1 Link to comment
ALittleShelfish November 26, 2022 Share November 26, 2022 @Mondrianyone ha! my screenname came from somewhere else entirely but i might now include this incident with it LOL. My dentist was very impressed my teeth made it intact and/or my jaw wasn't broken. I have nowhere near the makeup skills that Avery has to be able to cover my scar, but it's been almost 30 years so it's less noticeable thankfully :) 3 Link to comment

They did, but they might have been visiting his family who still live in the Middle East or having a vacation. Didn’t they live in Dubai for a while before Omar got authorization to live in the USA? Odder things have happened- if she did injure herself I feel badly for her. They seemed genuine. They aren’t enough of a train wreck to have in the universe! 3 Link to comment
silverspoons February 12, 2023 Share February 12, 2023 Sadly Avery posted that Omar had 5 family members die in the earthquake. 3 were young children. I hope his family and all the families can find peace and healing. 17 1 Link to comment

My family is Dominican and during the Trujillo dictatorship, there was a lot of suffering. The only good thing he did was make sure they had strict building codes so that things would stand up to hurricanes and earthquakes. All the made me think of that. 3 Link to comment
1011101010001 February 13, 2023 Share February 13, 2023 Yeah they had war, earthquakes, and severe winter all at the same time. Most of us are so lucky in comparison. 4 Link to comment
sainte-chapelle February 14, 2023 Share February 14, 2023 Good Lord isn’t Omar from Syria? He lost family in the war and now this? How much can one person take? I feel for him and his family. He seems like a very nice young man. 7 Link to comment

Pepper Mostly March 14, 2023 Share March 14, 2023 (edited) Good for them. A two year DMD program for internationally trained dentists is the norm in the US, I believe. I worked at Tufts Dental in Boston for twelve years. My boss was Greek and got his DDS in Greece. He had a PhD from Harvard and a certificate in Periodontology from Tufts. He was an Associate professor and he was able to practice onsite in the Faculty Practice. But to treat patients in a private practice in the US he had to get a DMD from a US school. As a Tufts faculty member he was able to do it there for less $$ (if any). Maybe Omar can swing a job as a clinical instructor or an assistant at Rutgers while he's completing his DMD. Or get hired there after he graduates. Its a great move for him and I'm happy for them both. Edited March 14, 2023 by Pepper Mostly 7 Link to comment
kacesq March 14, 2023 Share March 14, 2023 Oh wow, Rutgers!! I live nearby! Maybe I'll see them around. :) Rutgers is a great school. And wow, so nice to have a success story amidst all the other trainwrecks. 7 4 Link to comment

The fact that he is good enough to get accepted or the fact that they allowed him to be accepted ? These 2 are 2 of the best from the 90 day universe and I for one wish them every success as I originally thought "no way is this one lasting" and so far they have proved me wrong.
