maryis1 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 One day this past week I happened to catch the Carlina White story on Lifetime. Sherri played her biological mother who was reunited 23 years after Carlina was kidnapped from Harlem Hospital. Gotta give Sherri props for a wonderful performance. Halfway through I forgot I was watching Sherri Shepherd and saw her as rather her character instead. I have said before on earlier forums that I thought that seeing Sherri in different acting roles I always thought she was very good at bringing the comedy etc. She really displayed the complex emotions of a mother who was reuniting with a child who was not an all good or all bad person. I liked the way the movie showed the turmoil after the reunion. Keke Palmer was very good as her daughter. Now I understand the connection Sherri mentioned that they have. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-757814
TribbleTrouble January 27, 2015 Share January 27, 2015 Then don't watch KC Undercover (I've never heard of it) http://instagram.com/p/yNqS0EILqi/ I've never heard of it either. Apparently it's a Disney Channel sitcom for kids. Sounds perfect for Sherri whose emotional maturity is about the same as that of the target audience. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-762206

merriebreeze January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Elisabeth Hasselbeck accuses former McCain staffer and The View co-host Nicolle Wallace of having PTVS (post-traumatic View syndrome) for telling David Letterman that Palin's rambling, incoherent speech in Iowa revealed the "gaps in her knowledge." Mumbles January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Oh my goodness, she really is stupid - here is the video from Bitsy's rant about Nicolle mentioned above: http://crooksandliars.com/cltv/2015/01/elisabeth-hasselbeck-accuses-nicolle First off, since when is Letterman a "leftie"? Second, Bitsy's "explanation" about PTVS - that when you're at the View, you're "on such guard for the ethics and politics" (HUH?) and when you go to the "lair" of a leftist like Letterman, your guard is down - is so stupid and bizarre I don't know where to begin. Is she implying that Nicolle needs media coaching? Girlfriend, Nicolle WAS a communications person at the White House and various campaigns. Don't even go there. She also uses this to talk about her extensive campaign experience appearing with Palin at one event - in which she totally screwed the pooch by mentioning the cost of Sarah's clothes, an issue that the McCain people had wanted to fade away. Finally, for someone who claims to care about the military so much, nice way to trivialize PTSD, shitbag. 18 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-772324

bannana January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Ha Ha Ha! So idiot Bitsy is hitching her wagon to Sarah Palin, when even the Repubs are trying to distance themselves? She didn't make a lot of a sense (as usual) with her description of PTVS, but this is an offensive hijacking of a term that is used to describe what happens to people who have been assaulted, and more importantly for the Bits, so many in the military. Weird. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-772438
backformore January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Typical of the black/white way bitsy sees the world. Republicans need to support republicans ,no exceptions. Nicole says Palin has gaps in her knowledge. Bitsy spent time with Palin, declares her a good woman. To bitsy, those two things are contradictory. People are either all good or all bad, you cannot criticize a "good " person. PTVS? That has got to be the stupidest thing she ever said. She depicts her time on the View as a time when she was under attack by liberals, and couldn't let her guard down. (At least I think that's what she's saying, my bitsy-to-English translator is out of whack). The View didn't have to be a political show. Bitsy saw it as a platform to express her political views. She saw the other hosts as the enemy because they weren't republicans. It's how she sees the world. Us vs Them. 12 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-772942

susieq147 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Eliabeth's entire career has been about defending the crazies in her beloved Republican party. It's what she does. Without that she got nothing. But for her criticize Nicolle where Sarah Palin is concerned is so fucking laughable. Nicolle was her handler during the 2008 election. She spent weeks with her. If anyone is in a position to speak about Palin's numerous shortcomings it is Nicolle. Not Elisabeth who spent probably a matter of minutes with her. First off, since when is Letterman a "leftie"? Second, Bitsy's "explanation" about PTVS - that when you're at the View, you're "on such guard for the ethics and politics" (HUH?) and when you go to the "lair" of a leftist like Letterman, your guard is down - is so stupid and bizarre I don't know where to begin. Well anyone who doesn't worship all things Republicans is a "lefty" in Elisabeth's eyes. And on your guard at the View for ethics and politics? Is she fucking serious? She spent every single day spouting off shit about President Obama and his "socialist agenda" without so much as a single shred of proof. Just lies after lies. Before her split screen with Rosie NOBODY outside the View even knew who she was. She made a name for herself because of her "discussing" politics on the View. As mentioned by a previous poster, her lack of gratitude is pathetic. But of course Elisabeth probably thinks she was always meant to be famous. What with her being a white blonde woman with no discernible skills why wouldn't she hit it big on TV? 9 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-773506
Mumbles January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 What's Bitsy's explanation for William Kristol's abandonment of Palin? Joe Scarborough's? Former National Review writer Bryon York's? Scarborough called Palin's speech a "tragedy." What "lair" had trapped him? I think this bizarre showing reinforces two things about Bitsy (other than she's inarticulate): She's the kind of woman who doesn't like other women. There's a reason why Nicolle was singled out and not those men. We sort of knew this, from her remarks about Erin Andrews, and the fact that on "Friends Week" on the View, she brought an old college roommate who seemed not to like her. She's a narcissist if she thinks a few hours on a bus six years ago qualifies her as an expert on a person, especially over someone who spent months with the same person. 9 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9541-former-hosts-professional-life-after-the-view/page/21/#findComment-773819

I've always thought Elisabeth was a narcissist. How else do you explain her truly believing she is some sort of journalist because she attended the "Barbara Walters school of journalism" or whatever she said when she was leaving the View. Or did she say that when Barbara left the View? Anyways my point is Elisabeth thinks she somehow earned everything she has. Which to me is nonsense. She got the View gig because Bill Geddie has wet dreams about vapid stupid blonde Republicans. She got the gig at Fox News because she Barbara called in a favor or so the rumor goes. But I'm sure Elisabeth would argue that no no she is truly qualified to sit on national TV day after day voicing her opinion on things she has no interest in or knowledge of simply because she is Elisabeth Hasselbeck. And if you don't agree with her then you are just a lefty anyways.
