So true. Amy will never stop being angry, spiteful and jealous of any good things that come Matt's way. 

It's not a matter of if, but WHEN Chris and Amy will divorce. I know they're not married yet but I still don't believe it will last long. 

If WE can see the doomsday for any man marrying Amy, why can't Chris? He seems fairly intelligent. And as I've said before, WHY bother marrying when you're in your 60's? Amy already has a huge family of kids and grandkids, Chris has no kids and that's ok too. But why marry at this stage in life? I don't get it. Maybe I'm dumber than Chris. I hope not! Lol.

Amy will never be happy and just wait, when her romance of the century with her dream man Chris falls apart he'll be the villain and all her fans will be chasing Chris with pitchforks and torches!!!...  I hope his TLC money is worth it, he sold his soul to the devil when he proposed to that succubus.

I keep hoping that she'll piss off and take Chris with her.... His old man body & giant nose hairs give me the creeps plus his complete comfort in letting her put a roof over their heads without him contributing anything is pathetic and typical for a man child like Chris... Some of us have wondered what he sees in her and now it's obvious, he's there for the money, he dragged it out as long as he possibly could but as usual Amy started getting pissy and said 3 yrs was enough so he crumbled like the bump on a log that he is, went and got her a ring out of a popcorn box and did his duty because his paycheck and free loader lifestyle was on the line but his body betrayed him and he had a freaking panic attack at the thought of sticking a ring on her gnarly fingers.

I still can't get over what a bitch she was to her friends when they said her plastic window was ugly and should be updated, she was so rude and snippy, typical Amy... She wants everyone to blow smoke up her ass and tell her how awesome she is and they all take her shit because TLC pays them to do so.

Once the gravy train ends all her fake friends and her fake boyfriend will be gone.. *poof* and she'll be sitting in her shack bitching that no one wants to visit.  😂

Haha! That's the first thing I noticed was her toe nail polish worn off on some toes and partially there on other toes.

Please Amy, for the love of pedicures, DO NOT put your bare feet in a FOOD display on Instagram. Ever. 

I've noticed Amy is smiling with her mouth closed in alot of recent pics.

In the past I've held back when it came to Amy,

But now I've had it with her.....

She decided to act like an insensitive bitch to Zack, she didn't give 2 shits how he felt being blindsided and even after Zack reminded her dumb ass that he made ONE request she still badgered him into talking about her engagement to Chris.... and as if that wasn't bad enough.. SHE phones Matt, interrupts his day in order to gloat about her stupid engagement and when he reacts in a pleasantly, congratulates her, compliments her, compliments Chris, wishes her well and goes out of his way to be nice... all she can do is sit there rolling her eyeballs, making faces, being snippy and acting like a total asshole.

That was the final straw for me, now the gloves are off.. lol 🖕

I listened to Amy last night with her friend/business associate Lisa.  It is the same stuff over and over again.  I asked if Chris's family was excited that he is finally getting married and of course they didn't answer my question. I find it odd that his family is never mentioned concerning the engagement/impending marriage.  I noticed that Lisa tries to get Amy to dis Caryn and Matt by calling out the questions like "why did Caryn call you Miss Amy at the BBQ" and then say why did she do that? Amy mostly resists   The friend acts like she is the one that got burned.  Amy is pushing hard for her own cooking show.

The dichotomy of her views/behavior:

  • "God is always with me.  Jesus is in control.  His strength carries me forward."
  • "Chris will be moving into the house to live with me without getting married as soon as I get things put away, and then we'll get married next year."  (In spite of all the Bible verses condemning sex outside of marriage.)

Of course, knowing her habits of putting things away, this could mean he actually won't move in until after they're married.  IF she gets things put away by next year.

I remember seeing that when it originally aired and even now, as an adult with a family, I still can't believe it!  I guess the kitchen reminds me of how mine can look when everyone is rushing around, eating and getting food out.  But the boys' bedroom is really bad.  I felt itchy watching that.  My boys are total slobs and they hate to clean up, so when things get bad we do it together.  There is no excuse for not having sheets on the bed.  MAYBE once here or there, that's ok if the sheets are still drying, and aren't ready in time for bed... but I don't think we ever saw sheets on the boys' beds.

Well, if she takes them, there won't be much space for the windows once she's got her whole face filling the lens.

Also - even though I'm bored out of my skull, I'm not taking advantage of a discount on an autobiography written by a negative person.  I wouldn't read it if it were delivered free to my house.

ETA:  Several hours after seeing this post for the first time, I realized that it MAY be related to a (I think) a live instagram or Facebook stream tonight?  I'm not sure.  At all.

I still can't figure out why a childless man and a woman with four children who are long past high school (prom age) are throwing a prom-themed event. 

But that's just me.

I agree. I really don't understand all the negativity about Amy. Clearly she forgot Zack's request (which could have been a couple of years ago), but she did apologize. I thought it was interesting that they actually showed all of that rather than edit and re-film the scene. We know there are so many "scripted" scenes anyway after all these years, compared with some of the more "raw" footage from the earlier years.

I also thought Amy seemed thrilled with the proposal, and Chris seems quite sincere. I don't think people can fake that for 3 years. I wish them all the best and have no reason to believe that her personality will magically turn nasty after the marriage. Chris gives her the love and attention that Matt didn't have time for. Amy and Chris have taken plenty of time to get to know each other, unlike Matt and Amy, who were young, and only dated a few times long distance for a couple of months before getting married.

I just watched the episode where Amy and Chris get together with Matt and Caryn.

Caryn says compliment (to Amy): you two seem very well suited to each other.

Amy says: (something like) "well so do you two but you've known each other for a very long time so you should be well suited."

You could just see the anger and jealousy in Amy's face and eyes. She is truly a bitchy witch.

I'll never blame her for not embracing Caryn, who has essentially stepped into the life she had for almost 30 years and replaced her on the farm.  If that makes her a bitch, then good for her.  Caryn deserves whatever bitchiness comes her way.

I never understand when the reactions to bad behavior are judged more harshly than the bad behavior, itself.

I hear that, but it really hasn't been all that long since Amy found out her life was blowing up and SHE gets to decide how long it will take to move on and she's definitely taken many steps forward.  It isn't fair in my mind for Caryn's "kindness" to be used as any metric for Amy.  Caryn's knew before Amy did that Amy's life was going to blow up.

I always wondered what the real hard proof was that Matt carried on an affair with Caryn while married to Amy.  Did Amy catch them together?  Did Matt go out at night or not come home with no explanation given?  I don't think I have ever heard any real evidence. His relationship with Caryn obviously developed because his marriage was falling apart. I can't imagine if they were happily married  he would have had an affair.  I don't know the timeline.  Amy couldn't stand Matt, so you would think she would happy she is rid of him and now the only other man she has ever had a relationship with she is also going to marry.  I hope she gets happy and forgets about Matt and Caryn.

And I can't be the only one who remembers when they first stated the show and Matt traveled for work.... and Amy sat home bitching to the kids about him, Zack in particular. She spoke of him with hatred and contempt and they were not even in high school. Jacob was what? Maybe 7 or 8 in that first season? I can't imagine why their marriage fell apart. The house was a sty, she wouldn't make the kids clean and wouldn't let Matt attempt to help or even mention it. I remember when they added rooms on to the house the twins were early teens and they talked about how Zack was too lazy to go to the bathroom at night so he just pissed in a corner of the room for a while. You know the whole house had to reek of pee. But yeah, Matt was the root of all the problems in the home. 

Shockingly to no one, she still has a shit ton of stuff in the farm house, all the preschool crap that she claims is good stuff. Doubtful. It's crap that no one wants. Throw it away. Now her excuse is she can't donate it to anyone right now. Donate it to the garbage men, they will haul it away for you next week.
