mojoween March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 (edited) I literally cannot even with Cara. She is heinous and gross and does she even listen to herself? I mean Paul is whatever, if I saw him on the street I’d leave the planet, but Cara has turned into a giant disappointment. It’s surprising that she can think about anything at all with how much space Kyle has rented in her head. Also, she needs to keep talk about other people’s relationships out her damn mouth. My husband could not stand Zahida’s accent but I love listening to her. However, she needs to find a bathing suit that fits holy hell that bikini was way too small. Turbo is awesome. TiffanyNichelle March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 So exactly when did Zach and Cara become friends and then stopped being friends? But then again listening to the shit Zach has been saying about Cara throughout the challenge why is he so mad that she's coming after him. But Cara also needs to take down a notch. She is doing too much about this great relationship which is hilarious knowing that they are broken up now. But also, sit down Jenna. You and Zach aren't exactly relationship goals either. Bear is an ass but I'm so glad that Da'vonne is staying. She's too much fun. Happy to see in the previews that Wes wants to break up the UK alliance. I don't know why all the vets are trying so hard to get rid of each other instead of going after the UK group. 8 Link to comment
Lantern7 March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 So much shitty personalities this week. The person I feel bad for most is Zahida because she picked the wrong horse in Zach. Then I remembered she was the last female "prospect" to pick, and Zach was her only choice. Remember to always do your best, kids! I want Bear punched. Seriously, from what I understand, BMP signed him to a contract the way MLB teams sign Cuban and Japanese stars. I hope they love his drama. Basically, if you grabbed CT and Wes, pulling their worst attributes and mixing them up, you'd get Bear. Arrogant AND angry. Da'vonne probably went to bed happily . . . not that her asshole partner didn't get her sent packing, but that he didn't try to use the chain to hurt her. Cara Maria says Zach is jealous she's in a stable relationship. WOW. She's really far gone, isn't she? She's basically what happens if Tonya was trapped in a Hot Topic for a week. She's a bitch, Zach's a dick, so is Bear, Kyle & Paulie are two days away from hate-fucking each other, and Jenna probably wants to be anywhere else. Oh, and Paulie might be rubbing off on Natalie. The guy is a disease. What if she gets infected? I don't think they have quarantine areas on American Ninja Warrior. Turbo? Still seems too good to be true. Any week now, he'll snap, and then we'll hear people in Turkey all, "We call him 'Dis-Turbo' for a reason." Hey, the Reunion will be filming in London! We're gonna get an intentional incident! Also, the phrase "tea party" will be in the title. No way it won't. Bravo to Wes and Dee for upending Z/Z's picking them. Had they lost, Johnny would have gotten off on that for a few months, and I can't abide that. Bad news: Wes/Dee have the Relic. Wes will have power next week. Are you scared yet? 1 9 Link to comment

Jillibean March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 In a staggeringingly short amount of time, Cara has become my least favorite person this season. She's honestly such a BABY. The cheering and self-satisified smirking when she got what she wanted--I mean, there's trying too hard and then there's just being a heinous human. I think in the past the fact that Cara was an "underdog" hid some of her mental health mess, but now that she sees herself as the star of the show and the bestest athlete, some real narcissism is showing. Cara has known Zach for years. When Zach is on Cara's side and defending her he's a good guy and a good friend, "I love you and Jenna together!", etc. But as soon as he is unflattering to her over a period of several days, he's not just a bad friend to her personally, he's actually a terrible human being, a misogynist who is disrespectful to all women, and a bad boyfriend. Cara, unfortunately for you, you're on TV. There is footage of your hypocrisy (on multiple fronts, not just this one). So maybe stop talking. Quote So exactly when did Zach and Cara become friends and then stopped being friends? But then again listening to the shit Zach has been saying about Cara throughout the challenge why is he so mad that she's coming after him. But Cara also needs to take down a notch. She is doing too much about this great relationship which is hilarious knowing that they are broken up now. But also, sit down Jenna. You and Zach aren't exactly relationship goals either. It seemed to me like in the Tribunal Zach was basically telling Cara that regardless of what he thought of her as a person, he still had her back in the game as he had for many years, so if she wanted to come after him for personal issues, that was on her. But Kyle and Cara had this dynamic last season and Zach didn't get dragged into the middle of it, so I'm thinking Paulie is responsible for the breakdown of that friendship. I cringed when Jenna "disagreed" with Cara about how Zach treats women--not because I agree with Cara necessarily but because I honestly don't think Jenna is even bright enough to understand what people THINK the underlying issue is with Zach. I think Jenna legitimately believes Zach isn't sexist. I also don't think Jenna could give you any sort of coherent definition of systemic sexism, feminism, or misogyny. However, I did respect Jenna's statement that when Cara's three month relationship with Paulie was closer to five years Cara will see just how perfect it really is. She turned out to be right on the money. In actuality, it took a lot less than five years for Cara's blissful romance to hit the fan, but judging by her social media she still hasn't learned any lessons about glass houses and stones. If you choose to take back your emotionally manipulative, gaslighting, CHEATING ex, that's on you--but you completely lose your platform to judge anyone else's relationship, as far as I'm concerned. My favorite part of the night? (Paraphrasing) Zach: "Can we go now?" Cara doing her best Queen of Hearts impression: "You'll not leaving until I say you can leave!" Zach: "So we're good to go, then?" Jenna might be better off from a social game perspective without her giant social liability around. Cara and Paulie, I think, are going to make things pretty difficult for themselves in future games by blowing up so many alliances and doing so in such a gross way. 7 Link to comment
strippedhalo March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 Da'vonne is so great. So much better without being shackled to Jozea. Wish she wasn't stuck with Bear, though. He seems awful, and kind of like he doesn't understand consequences? Although I guess this episode suggests that for him, consequences are threatened but don't actually materialize. Turbo is so sweet. I hope he doesn't turn out to be secretly awful. I don't like to root for anything that makes Paulie happy, but yay for Wes and Dee! Wes > Zach forever, even though it was nice to see Zach consistently treat a female partner well. Also, how crazy is it that Zach refused to pick Amanda to go against in elimination because they were on the same side?? That's how you adapt and let things go, Cara. I think I don't actually like Ninja Natalie very much, and not just because she keeps helping Paulie win missions. 6 Link to comment
luckyroll3 March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 Cara needs to stop acting like she chose Zach because she's defending the female race. She chose Zach because she wanted to get back at him for talking shit about her. And Zach is jealous about your stable, healthy relationship?!?! Also, Zahida legit thought she could beat Dee over Amanda?? She clearly hasn't been paying attention to the game. She should have just went for Bear and Davaughn; Bear had already pissed everyone in the house off - her alliances would have been fine. Speaking of Bear - is he 3 years old? ImpinAintEasy March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 I wanted to like Bear. He seems like a witty guy(or cheeky). But like TJ, I hate quitters. Just finish the challenge. There are no repercussions for finishing last, which is the only problem with this format. So instead of lugging it out he quits and proceeds to show an amazing amount of unwarranted arrogance, which you know is all a performance. MTV paid him to come and be Bear, and he’s giving them him. He’s there to perform, not to compete. I do still like the other UK members, particularly Georgia. Turbo continues to be the best. I’m rooting for him or Wes to win. Wes has a better partner, but Turbo is a far better competitor than him at this point. Just like Johnny stole Kenny’s schtick, Cara is morphing into the female Bananas. I was never a big fan, but I didn’t actively dislike her. She is my least favorite challenger at this point. And spare me her women empowerment speech after she cherry picks when to defend women. Amanda is essentially assaulted, and Cara takes the stance that she deserved it. Fuck Cara. 9 Link to comment

RHJunkie March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 If you think quitting is better than losing then you don't belong on this show. Bear was embarrassing, especially as he sat there watching his partner try to complete the task by herself and then had the audacity to call other people useless. Sitting on the sidelines watching other people compete, by definition, makes you the useless one. Day's extended eyeroll was amazing, lol. I can't deal with Cara and Paulie. I just can't. They're both think that people disliking them is a sign of their superiority when really it's because of their embarrassing level of assholery. Cara didn't even try to negotiate with her partner. She railroaded him and made the decision herself. And all roads lead back to Kyle. The level of infatuation that both these idiots have with Kyle is just so puzzling and pathetic. She and Paulie together are just bullies. And her spiel about choosing Zach out of some responsibility to womanhood. Oh fuck off you imbecile. It had to do with Kyle. You made a decision that was all wrapped up in your infatuation with a MAN, that is the most opposite thing to female empowerment. Cool, I get that Zach doesn't think Wes is someone he can trust in the game, but calling him out during an elimination, especially when you have to rely on your partner to be able to handle Wes' partner, that was just bad strategy. If you want Wes out, win power and vote him in there to battle for his survival when yours isn't on the line. I loved how amused TJ was each time he would turn the lights off on them, lol. The challenge was entertaining though. Jenna isn't one to talk given her relationship history with Zach but neither is Cara one to talk. She finds the shittiest of guys to fall for her and then when it's finally over, she talks about how horrible they treated her...but yet she always stays until they send her packing. Paulie has lied, cheated and manipulated Cara and all the world saw the proof of it and she went back to him. No one should ever let her speak on any other woman's relationship when she's so fucked up herself. 5 Link to comment

The tape wound up ripping some of her hair out. It’s actually gotten crazy. So basically, a couple of weeks ago Amanda tweeted with frustration that her being “tied up” had been left on the cutting room floor. Davonne responded saying she’d be addressing it in her episode 3 recap, which I think she just released last week. It sounds like Amanda was doing her spreading drama things by screaming intentionally all night by the back bedroom about Zach and Wes and whatnot and wouldn’t stop. So the three boys “jokingly” duct taped her, and she and Davonne agreed there wasn’t malicious intent but..I mean, It sounds VERY VERY BAD. Davonne described it as basically mummifying her head with tape. Because they used duct tape, Amanda and Day weren’t able to get it off without painfully pulling out chunks of Amanda's hair. Cara went on a couple of lives and basically laughed about it with Paulie in the background telling her it wasn’t cool. Cara then defended herself on twitter by saying Amanda was a bad person blah blah (I wish someone could do a mashup of that tweet with the clip from vendettas when Cara tells us that no matter who it is or what they’ve done, a group of people going after one person is bullying and something she will never support). Anywhoo... The fact that this wasn’t shown was taken by fans as unfair to Amanda and an attempt to protect Johnny. Petitions were started, and social media has been in an uproar. Unsurprisingly, MTV was not pleased and presumably reminded Amanda that she has a contract and should not have been talking about this to begin with. Amanda tweeted asking everyone to let it go and said the boys had apologized. Then Amanda tweeted AGAIN and said that due to the way MTV has handled this (cutting the footage, threatening her legally, and in her words “lying” about what occurred) she is done with the challenge after filming this upcoming reunion. 1 3 Link to comment

MVFrostsMyPie March 10, 2019 Share March 10, 2019 (edited) Also, smug Ninja Nat's proportions seem off to me. It's like she used to be of an average height, but a compacter smushed her down to pint-size, but with the same muscles, and her head size stayed the same. Actually you know what, her muscles are the issue, I think. I just don't like overly muscular women OR men. A little definition is good, anything more than that, and I'm generally turned off. Ripped abs are nice to look at, but not if the face of the person is unfortunate-looking, then it kind of ruins the whole picture. And overly beefy arms? Nah. Turbo looks like he at least fits his beefy proportions, but someone like Hunter, for example? He's so muscle-y, it looks painful and more of a hindrance to be that beefy. That Australian dude (Ashley? I don't even remember who he was teamed up with) also looked super unattractive with all that extra (unnatural) muscle mass. And Paulie always seems like he is one eye-roll or glare-at-Kyle away from having permanently crossed eyes. Edited March 10, 2019 by MVFrostsMyPie 1 Link to comment
Steph619 March 11, 2019 Share March 11, 2019 I usually like Cara and root for her on these Challenges, but man, she displayed so much cringey behavior this episode. I understand she was pissed at Zach for talking crap about her and siding with Kyle, but she could’ve just thrown him in without acting like Johnny. Plus, she has no right to get in Jenna and Zach’s relationship. Worry about your own! I too like it when she’s not involved with anybody romantically. Zach sounded horrible though when he was talking about Cara. It’s very opportunistic of him to say that she wouldn’t get as far on this Challenge without Theo. Wasn’t she the same person who beat him on Vendettas? She’s proven herself to be a strong competitor. To me, Zach’s behavior towards women has improved, but it’s still poor especially when he feels attacked. Kyle is still a douche for instigating drama and Bear is a psycho. I’m glad that Da’vonne got to stay though because I like her. I also like Turbo who hopefully is that genuinely nice. 3 Link to comment
