Crystal Hephner, who has had symptoms similar to Yolanda's and was previously diagnosed with Lyme disease, has had her breast implants removed because they were leaking and apparently causing her symptoms. Thought it was interesting.

Saline is salt water. It's very safe. The human body is full of water and salt, if a person's immune system did fight those two compounds, I don't think they'd live to tell the tale.

Plus playboy playmates give the worst medical advice.

That's Anwar in the pink? Good grief, I missed the "pretty in pink" prompt.

Yikes. As God is my witness, I thought that was YoYo!

And I think turkeys can fly.

Anyone that quotes WKRP is AWESOME!

YES! That is one of my all time favorite tv/movie lines!

O m'gosh!  In that first pic, I thought that Yo-Yo was stroking that bald guy's head!   My first thought was, "She must really be missing David's ass."

Does the phrase "Role Models" mean something different in Japan?

Did they "shade" her nose? Looks narrower and straighter or something. Still beautiful and still my fave.

Say what you will about Yolander, but her girls are extraordinary.

Bella is the new face of Dior make-up.  They're launching a contour stick in August.  I was hoping that contouring was going to die a fast death but it's here to stay for a while.  I think Bella's mouth looks wonky because of the white line drawn over her top lip to accentuate the bow.  And yeah, her nose has been contoured to hell and back, and for Vogue?  It's done badly.  Not loving the picture.  I swing from thinking Bella is the most gorgeous, then to Gigi and then back to Bella.

Gigi is my fave at the moment because of her Hilfiger commercial.

The very bottom line

"素敵 な 人 に は お手本 が い た 。 ロール モデル 136 人登場 。"

means (according to Google):

"Role model has had is a nice person. Role model 136 people appeared."

Would have Yo approved that one (not edited) ?

(I dunno where to post it, but when I saw this picture, I thought about the Gigi's hurdles spring, because, sometimes, it's only a question a good timing ! )

I dunno, lol ! (it's for a photography project I'm a part of)

EDIT, because... let's be honest : it's me, 47yo, "au naturel" and yes, it's for a photography project for http://www.images.ch, but this picture was taken "outside" the shooting and it was a surprise when I got it by mail (it has been taken by my ex-coach, from the times I was a swimmer 30+ years ago) and, even if it wasn't me on it, I would have had the same feeling of timing, the same "click", and my question, regarding the timing, was 100% genuine.

because you can't blame on HW's "playing with the truth" and not being honest by your side....

Bella usually looks much better on the runway than she does in print (loved her look in the video of the Fendi show) and Gigi is usually the opposite. In fact, I prefer the press pictures of Bella at events to her magazine photos most of the time too.

Is Yo still on twitter doing her thing?

ETA. No, she deleted her account with her sick selfies/Lyme.  Now her only account is about her daughters and she is up and about going to their fashion shows.   We were correct all along.  This was probably reported long ago.  I haven't been here in awhile.

Sometimes, Bella's eyes have a vacant, faraway look, as if her body is in the present but her mind is in the past, where she dreams of horse riding and the Olympics.  Some day, she may harbor some bad feelings toward Yo for steering her into the modeling game.  Gigi strikes me as more like she was born to be a model, but I don't get the same vibes from Bella.  I feel for Bella.  It's like she is the middle child who felt she had to follow Mommy and Gigi rather than strike out on her own.

Anwar can cut his own trail by virtue of the fact that he's male.  He can make some fast money, then go into whatever field he chooses.  Bella, though, will be getting too old to tackle the Olympics, I fear.  So much for my Bella worries for the day.

Forgive me.  I'm a little bit dense today.  But, other than modeling, I can only think of one other way to work on your back and be paid good money for it.  Most of it is nighttime work.  You wouldn't possibly be thinking of the same thing I  am, would you, Giselle?!   :)

Yolanda made a couple entries over at UKDailyMail this week, complete with an awkward corset adorned body pose from Instagram. Pandora, LisaV, and Kyle have also been there several times this week. You have to scroll down pretty far to find the articles.

Yolanda's pose in the Instagram picture was not good. Her body, hair, makeup looks fabulous, the pose is off. She needs to step up her game if getting back into the model world.

This photo/pose? LOL  It is awkward looking!

It's a restless night, so I decided to see what was going on at the board.

Yolanda becomes more offensive to me with every passing photo shoot.  I think I have Yo figured out.  I think she got the modeling bug again when she was married to David.  She knew that no marriage survives well when one of the twosome in constantly traveling, so the marriage would have to go.  Next came the body: No model has big breasts, so away went the implants.  The old hairstyle had to go, so she went from glam to boyish brown, then heavy golden streaks appeared all over again.  Finally, the Big Announcement:  It's Foster no more; it's HADID!!!  For the children's sake, you know.  Now, here she is, squatting on the floor, making her "debut."

Did she have Lyme Disease or a yearning to model again?

Looks like she's got a little "Dutch Baby" belly going on. Put that maple syrup into your lemon what ever the hell it is you call it drink and not on pancakes.

She looks as old as she is, dropped boobs, heavier calves, no tone what so ever. Not saying it is a bad thing but I'm being real.

Ugh. What a pig. Who believes that his develpment will "blend in" with lots of "vegetation"?

And I wouldn't be at all surprised if all of those taxes and fees etc. that he claims will benefit the county are actually reduced as an enticement for him to bring development to the county.

Plus, the guy just creeps me out.

Wonder if this part of the article refers to Kim Richards?!

Quote

[Mohamed] Hadid said that allowing strangers to walk on private property brings various liabilities. He expressed concerns about hikers leaving trash and getting injured.

“If someone falls, it’s your responsibility,” he said.

Hadid said he once volunteered to pay a woman’s hospital expenses after she was bitten by a dog that was unleashed by another hiker on the property.

Dateline recently covered a similar case where a landowner started kicking people off an established trail.

Try Edge of U2, he  has been scheming and finagling to build a compound on a bluff above Malibu.

Happens all the time in Malibu. The ocean front home owners continue to block access to public beaches by locking public gates, posting real looking but illegal and fake ordinance signs saying "No Access" or "No Public Parking" near public beach areas. Fines don't even bother them. Music mogul David Geffen is one of the worst offenders.

Not to leave out "Locals Only" surf gangs that will intimidate, vandalize and brawl to keep people off their beach and their line up.

Yup. At one time, a private security force – on some kind of Segway-ish vehicles – chased the hoi polloi away when they ventured onto one of Malibu's more glittery beaches. (Not sure if this is still happening – maybe now the homeowners use drones :-D )

Mo is spewing rancid lemon rind in that article when he says he'll set land aside etc etc – once the land is sold and people buy the tracts (or the built homes) they can pretty much close off access, including that to the so-called grant land. regardless of what the developer promised.

I didn't see the Dateline story – was it about the guy up on Castro Peak in the SanMo Mountains? He's some kind of radio-tower entrepreneur who's shut down the main hiking trail with tall gates and signage where it cuts across his property; it's been going on for more than 10 years without a resolution. This is an old link but it offers an idea of how this type of sitch plays out (an image of his fence is below, too):

http://www.malibutimes.com/news/article_04328ef2-33a8-5b16-879b-ac2a72e7bde6.html

It's a real prob in SoCal. I'm very much for property owners rights to privacy (and wouldn't want a bunch of strangers constantly walking thru my yard) but, in a region where the natural resources are swiftly disappearing, there needs to be more accommodation by developers and better enforcement by the authorities.

As a home owner I'm for property rights also but then don't buy a beach house and block public access if they have a right to be there.

Makes me wanna stop at 99 Ranch Market and buy a durian, then take it to the 'Bu, split it open and enjoy on a nice windy day.  >;- >

Gigi's American Vogue cover will be the worst-selling issue of the year. I was all ready to concede that she might have caught up to Kendall with that coup despite being far out-paced vis-à-vis volume of solo Vogue editorials until I realized that Kendall just had an entire specially produced supplemental mini-issue devoted to her and may have landed the September cover to boot.

That mini issue was just a really large Estée Lauder ad, and only subscribers in Los Angeles and New York received it. It had 52 pages and only 3 pages of ads (Estée Lauder ads of course).

So the orange part will be a sticker that the purchaser of the magazine peels off? Toplessness is common in editorials, and everyone has nipples, but this seems a little seedy.

But what a pair of lemons!

They've gone from high necklines to low necklines to NO necklines  "High fashion" apparently means no fashion, or high flesh.  Pert, youthful breasts have gone by the wayside, yielding to sagging, formless sacks of some malleable substance.  Seedy is the right word, Wire Wrap.

Remember Gigi's old boyfriend Cody Simpson, the constantly aspiring musician that she dumped for a Jonas Brother? Coke paid for him to run with the olympic torch. Wise move, Gigi. The guy gets homelier by the day.

I have trouble seeing past her nose job. I think I am one of the few who thinks it is bad though. They took too much away on the bridge. She is pretty but I won't go as far as supermodel pretty.  Or having the "it" factor but I realize that's totally subjective.  Sadly, I think the days of the Linda Evangelista supermodel type are a thing of the past. I have no idea what fashion mags or fashion houses are looking for when they pick a model beyond Instagram followers.
