Well hell I wouldn't mind being Chelsea (minus Cole...nice guy but not my type) her life certainly doesn't suck these days. I agree, Jenelle doesn't hate her (yet, I do think it's on the horizon, though) but she desperately wants to be Chelsea.

People with BPD tend to self harm, though, and be more inwardly focused and depressed (sorry writing my dissertation on it so currently obsessed with representations of it), and 80- 90% of them were sexually abused. A ton of them have eating disorders. It's rare for women with it to be violent towards others, they're much more likely to be suicidal, around 10% commit suicide. I don 't think Jenelle is calmer around David because he grounds her or anything normal and mature like that. I think she's scared of him and he controls her. She doesn't seem all zen or anything. Not to me. She seems like she's trying to keep the peace and not make waves.

And yes, many abusers either start or increase they abuse when their partner either has their baby or they get engaged/married.  Double whammy for Jenelle here.  The person moves into the area of being their absolute complete property.  Will this happen in their case, we can only speculate....but David's history is foreboding.  

I think Jenelle's jealous or obsession with Chelsea is because she sees what Chelsea has and thinks it is unfair that she doesn't have it.  Jenelle doesn't see the role she plays in the life she has.  I also think she's hurt that Chelsea is not her friend even by just MTV friend standards.  I think Jenelle is hurt in the same way that Farrah is hurt that the other girls are there for each other and not for her.

It is a sad situation when any person feels that it is not "forever" until a diamond ring and sometimes a wedding are not part of the mix. That child is forever regardless if the relationship isn't. These numbskulls have no issue bringing a child into the world, not caring if the relationship will last or being certain it will last. Somehow having a ring makes it certain? Jesus help these people.

I read somewhere, I wish I could remember where, someone remarked that Chelsea gets good edit and press when she had the audacity to deliver before her. The rings look very much alike and far from the previous styles J has chosen in the past. And Cole loves Chelsea and Aub. She bought her home first. I think this is part of it, but I also have a (completely unfounded and unresearched) theory that something about pregnancy hormones takes Jenelle down a notch.  Wasn't she unusually calm and not-psycho when she was pregnant with Kaiser, too?  Also might be why she keeps getting knocked-up...it makes her feel good and "normal."  So as those hormones slowly ease out of her body now that she's had the baby...watch out.

watching Jenelles 16 and Pregnant episode. Once again Barb is trying to talk to Jenelle and she says she's too tired to help clean the house but went out. I recently stumbled upon a website called "all about the tea" and an article about an Instagram that David Eason put out last year of Kaiser putting his hand down his diaper. It was reported to Instagram and it was pulled...but it didn't stop there...people notified the authorities in Wilmington to investigate. The picture itself could be determined to be child pornography and the fact that this lowlife redneck posted it says volumes about him. Once I read this, I read even more stuff on this sight about David's family...wow! These are the people that Jenelle leaves Kaiser with while she makes appearances and goes on trips with David. His family is low class trailer trash...police records, racists, drugs...you name it.  David has a drug offense along with domestic violence and stalking, theft, breaking and entering, etc...Kaiser is truly a child that is being raised by wolves. God only knows what they do with this poor kid when she drops him off with these lowlifes. MTV is doing a disservice to these children when they don't show us what is truly going on and instead show some sanitized, cleaned up bullcrap like they did last night. Exactly. But then, that is always how Jenelle works. She is a full-blown hypocrite.

Jenelle certainly had no issue with dropping off Kaiser with Nathan's parents in this most recent episode.

This whole thing about who has Kaiser is just Jenelle going along with David. She really has no fucks to give as to who watches Kaiser when he is with Nathan. If that were the case, why is it she had no problem when she dropped off Kaiser to Nathan's mother for five days when she couldn't deal with Kaiser? Dave and Jenelle can't wait to get rid of Kaiser. They put on this act as if they really care who has Kaiser. Who else remembers when Jenelle had Kaiser in daycare for the entire week when she had nothing else going on? David takes issue with anything that relates to Nathan. He will find any bone to pick just to be able to slam Nathan on camera.

One of the reasons I won't watch a lot of reality tv programs (but I will read recaps because y'all are funny and I need to keep up with gossip) is that I truly believe Jenelle would be in prison by now if it wasn't for MTV more then likely bailing her out or recommending a good lawyer.  One of these days she's going to do something even MTV can't oops her way out of or when the cameras stop rolling Janelle and probably a few others are going to be lost.   Not to mention their poor kids.  Jace can go either way depending on how long his grandmother lives.  (Forget her name sorry and too lazy to look it up).  His best chance is if she lives long enough for him to reach his teens.  

Janelle fascinates me but also horrifies me.  From what I can tell she is not stupid. Reading some of the episode threads it seemed some  of the girls aren't the brightest crayons in the crayola box but they at least  try.  Janelle could make a good life for herself even with a record she is just lazy.  

Am I up to speed?

she met him online, not out anywhere. They never seem to go clubbing or drinking, even in NYC (didn't they bowl or something?). The way she judgmentally harps on people for having the need to go out sounds like a pious college freshman with three friends who spends her nights reading the bible in an effort to look holier than thou. I knew so many girls like that in college; partying is not their thing, but being anti-party becomes like an identity that they militantly defend. Maybe David is like this too? For all we know, he could never have had an interest in it. If so, he picked the wrong girl in Jenelle!

Janelle has that Brad Pitt thing going on where she morphs into whatever personality the current boyfriend has. With Keifer she was a junkie, with Nathan a gym rat and now she's  a frontier woman and owning swamp land has always been her life's dream.  She'll be back to partying the first time she has David arrested and she finds someone to watch Endtable.

With his history of driving while impaired/reckless driving (he was popped in 2012, 2013 and 2014) and his history of wanton and willful destruction of property, it's highly possible that abstaining from hooch is a requirement of probation. If so, he hit the $kank lottery when Jenelle found him online. He can't party without risking going back to jail, finds a skeezy chick with money and some kids who is incredibly easy to mold into whatever he wants. Knocks her up immediately to ensure she won't dump his ass and he's set. We all see the controlling, simmering rage when he's sober. Can you imagine what happens when he's drunk?

From what I read about David and his family, David has anger management issues and control issues. Moving Jenelle out to an isolated area where their neighbors are going to be snakes and other swamp critters. This fits with David's need to control her...keep her isolated, away from friends, family and prying eyes. This guy is scary...his arrest record includes stalking, domestic violence and domestic stalking...if he and Jenelle have a falling out, he will threaten her and their baby will be part of a scary pattern with this guy. This could get bad very fast for Jenelle...remember how David was with Barbara at the beginning kicking her out of "his" house and telling the police she was upsetting "his" kids. Jenelle is one of those girls that cannot live a day without a man in her life and she picks real winners.

He IS as scary as they come! Idiot Jenelle is going to be in for a real shock when he goes off on her, she calls the cops (unless he has her phone and she won't be able to) and learns that she can't just kick him out like she's done with all the other losers - male and female - that she's moved in with her over the years. His name is on the deed to that property and probably on the modular home, as well. If he is taken away after a DV incident and cools off for the mandated period of time, it's legally his residence just as much as it's hers. It's not like all the leases she signed where her name was the only one on the document so she could kick someone out. I sure hope she has good homeowner's insurance. I can totally see him torching the place or smashing it to pieces when the inevitable blow up happens. We know he's good at destroying other's property when pissed.

Comments like that are what make me feel the tiniest, flimsiest smidgens of sympathy for Jenelle. Chelsea grew up in an upper middle class, two parent household and had a shit ton of financial and emotional support after Aubree was born. Jenelle grew up surrounded by abuse and disfunction. That's not to say she bears no responsibility for her poor life choices, but comparing a girl who had every advantage in the world to one who didn't is a little unfair on Barb's part.

If she is able to get a restraining order then he has to leave.  So, if he is taken away in a DV incident and she gets  a temporary or a permanent order, it would matter if he was on the deed or anything else, he gots to go.

He is currently appealing his conviction in the latest matter. I think it had to do with the violation of the restraining order. He was ordered to do 60 days in jail, but he was quick to file the appeal, which is his right to do so, but something tells me he demanded Jenelle pay his attorney to file the appeal. This guy is not going down without a fight. It is a sign of what lies ahead for Jenelle when shit hits the fan.

I agree that Chelsea definitely grew up in the more stable, less dysfunctional household of the two, but imo it can't be said that Jenelle didn't have ANY support when Jace was born. Barb and her live-in at the time provided her with a roof over her head, all her needs and even some wants, and Jace seemed to be taken care of. If I'm remembering correctly Jenelle didn't have to work at all to provide for Jace before or after he was born. Literally all Barb and her boyfriend wanted was for Jenelle to care for her child while they worked to take care of all of them. Jenelle sent most of her pregnancy chilling on the beach and partying with her friends with not a care in the world, and we all know what happened afterwards. I know Jenelle didn't grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth but I see a lot of evidence that she was pretty spoiled and enabled a lot. Barb is no dream parent by a mile but I always felt that Jenelle was her baby and treated accordingly.

I can see Barb saying Chelsea took care of her baby in response to Jenelle dissing Chelsea. After all the horrible things we've heard Jenelle say to Barb and about Barb to other people, I can't muster up any sympathy even if Barb sometimes compares Chelsea to Jenelle. And, that's a big if. We don't know. We do know that they had to edit the last reunion to cut out Jenelle saying she wouldn't care if Barb died the next day.

Realistically, Jenelle and Chelsea have each had the same opportunities since the show started. Both of them had the opportunity to finish school, go on to trade school/college, learn how to live on their own, etc. Chelsea slowly grew up and learned how to be an adult WHILE she raised her daughter. Jenelle pissed away her MTV money as soon as she got it, bounced from man to man, got arrested a couple dozen times, became a junkie, married a junkie, aborted his kid, divorced him, had another kid and got a useless certificate from a diploma mill. While her mother raised her son.  Yes, they were raised differently. But, they both had a huge opportunity to better their lives when this show started. Jenelle pissed it all away and is now trying to make people believe she's someone she's not.

Oh, I get it and am sure it'll happen soon :) But, he can make her life hell from a legal standpoint because he technically owns the property with her. And, it may not even be a DV incident. Jenelle is famous for kicking people out when she gets pissed off. She's going to have a whole new experience when she tells Uncle Creepy to get the fuck out and he plops his ass on the couch and says "Make me. My name is on the deed right next to yours."
