The GCEh?C: Canadian Episodes (Spoilers for Non-Canadians)

Happy Thanksgiving, to our American preverts who like to know what happened on the Y and R the same day as we Canadians!

  • Oh puke, we start with Gwampire at the head of the Thanksgiving Dinner table.  He waxes poetic about giving thanks, and Abby and Vic glare at each other through the toasts.  Noah and Tessa are there, as are Reed, Faith, and Chelz.  The latter two look sadly at the empty seats, which I guess are for Nick and Drinki.
  • At Phyllis' house it's rom com central as she is trying to cook while talking to Summer on the phone, who is in Belize.  She tells Summer she is not going to be alone, but she actually is.  She jacks up her music and yells at Billy through the wall but he is not there. He is arriving at the Abbott Mansion, and Jack answers the door.  The pie Billy brought is the best in the State, and apparently Billy had a drive with the kids to pick it up.  Jack asks Billy about Phyllis and he changes the subject.  Tracey and Ash are there and they hug Billy.  Jack says he wants this to be the best Thanksgiving and Dina walks in and says, that is because you all think it will be my last.
  • Back at the Newman Ranch, Chelz is going to check on Connor, who is apparently having a wonderful time with the other kids, which must mean Katie and Johnnie.  Prick talks to Faith about their past troubles and says he has really missed her and she says she misses him too.  Abby tells Tessa how much she appreciates Crystal saving her life.  Vic tells Prick that she is glad that Abby is home safe even though she doesn't believe it. He chalks it up to sibling rivalry.  Vic talks about the biz decisions she had to make and in his baby voice Prick says they had to do that for the sake of the company and Abby will get over it.  Vic says:  We need to maintain the current concept of a new era for NE, with the return of experienced leadership, someone who is going to facilitate and support your agenda.  No more experimenting with unproven concepts and unproven executives who have not grown into their roles.  What a bitch!  But truly, that is more of an insult to Prick's leadership than anything else.  And BTW, Queen Vic, what about your experimentation with unproven concepts you thought up five seconds ago while at BS, and unproven executives.  She is too much.  Abby overhears and says did you just call me a failed experiment?  Vic smirks smugly and the food, as Abby looks flabbergasted.
  • The Abbotts are having cocktails, and Jack and Ash feel they need to tell Billy and Tracey about Dina.  Dina leaves the room to look for her glasses, and Jack is about to tell them.  Then the doorbell rings and it is Ravi.
  • At Nick's place, Drinki pries it out of Nick that he and Chelz are on the outs.  Drinki doesn't think the whole conning thing is a big deal.  She says Chelz has never hid her past, but he says it matters to him. Drinki figures Nick is more upset about the club burning down.  He tells her that he is being accused of arson and Chelz has not been supportive.  She convinces him that he took his anger out on Chelz.  Drinki tells Nick about her falling out with Jack.  She is pissed.   She tells him she was dis-invited from Thanksgiving.
  • After dinner at the Newmans, everyone is stuffed and someone suggests a walk.  Abby said she would rather burn up some calories discussing what Vic said about her.  Abby says that she heard Vic say the same back-stabbing garbage that she fed to the press.  Vic, very measuredly says, that was just a PR strategy.  Chelz and Prick suggest that they not discuss this on Thanksgiving.  Abby says she is not the one who was hurling insults over the salad course, and Vic says, she is sorry if her feelings were hurt.  Abby is offended by the "if" and she stomps out after apologizing to everyone else, especially Reed and Faith.  Vic doesn't look too upset.   BTW, has Nick even seen his sister Abby since she was almost killed?
  • Phyllis and Hilary show up at the GCAC.  I guess Phyllis called Hilary who took her to get her hair done.  They really are besties now!
  • At the Abbotts, Ravi has arrived with a pie from the best place in the State, same as Billy.  Ash looks perplexed to see Ravi.  The other Abbotts clear the room and she says she is surprised to see him, and he references the invite.  It turns out she was just telling him about her plans, not inviting him.  And she essentially give's him the bum's rush.  Ouch.  Sure, she apologizes, but nothing can take the sting out of that.  Dumb move, Ash.  As it turns out, Dina agrees when she sees Ravi departing, she asks why on earth she would send that wonderful man away and that Ash never has known what is good for her.  Ash looks miffed.
  • Vic tells Prick she feels bad for Abby, but she doesn't seem to really mean it.  Prick tells Vic that Abby has been through an ordeal and she should be more patient with her.  She pretty much blows that off and goes to check on her kids.  Noah and Chelz talk about her spat with Nick.  Noah does the same for Chelz as Drinki does for Nick, coaxing her to let it go and see his point of view.  Drinki, Nick and Christian show up.  Prick says he is always happy to see his grandson, but that Drinki and Nick are not invited.  But Faith runs in thrilled to see them both, and Prick looks chagrined but says nothing.
  • At the GCAC, Phyllis and Hil are at the bar talking about the fall out from Hil's recent exposes, like the Chelz and Jordan thing, and the Abby sex ring thing.  Then Hil tells Phyllis that Devon and Mariah are split up, and Phyllis wonders what that means for Hil.  Ravi arrives, looking dejected, telling them how humiliated he was  arriving at the manse uninvited.  He reveals to them that he has true, deep and real feelings for Ash, and he wanted to tell her.  Phyllis says he should not give up, the heart wants what the heart wants.  Ravi says there is no way he can give up, but he doesn't know if Ash feels the same way.  Oh Ravi, talking about your personal life in front of Hil?!
  • Billy is teasing Ash about Ravi. Tracey and Dina agree that Ash made a mistake sending him away, but she is saved by the arrival of Abby.  Abby is looking for a big cocktail and Tracey says be careful, dinner is a ways off.  Dina decides therefore to have a rest before dinner.  Abby says to the rest of them that this is what she was wishing for on Thanksgiving, a peaceful holiday.  Ash and Jack exchange a look and Billy notices.
  • The Newmans are all ensconced in the living room.  Vic arrives and tells Prick that this is not what he wanted but  it is a good thing, maybe a first step.  Prick tells Vic to join the family and  he leaves.  Nick approaches Chelz and in front of everyone tells her that he is thankful for such a strong smart woman and that he doesn't deserve her sometimes.  Awwww....blech. Later as the various family members disperse in the house for seconds on dessert, Drinki gets to talk to Vic one on one.  Vic says Prick had to take a call, but Drinki doesn't believe it.  She figures he left the room before his head exploded at the sight of Drinki.  Vic says if Prick didn't want Nick and Drinki to be there, he would have gotten rid of them.  Drinki looked, I don't know, skeptical? bemused?  At the same time, Nick apologizes again to Chelz, and tells her he loves her.  She apologizes to him as well.  They decide that Monique should watch the kids while they go out for a night cap.  Oh, here's hoping they run into Hilary!
  • Jack tells the family that Dina has Alzheimers and that she was diagnosed a year ago.  Abby is upset that she is losing her grandmother after just getting her back.  Tracey is very upset.  Quite frankly, I would be very pissed at Jack and Ash for dropping this on me in this way, if I were Tracey, expecting her to absorb it and go into Happy Thanksgiving mode.  They had days to process it.  And then Jack says he wants to make sure this is a great Thanksgiving, looking at especially Tracey who is trying to suck it up.  Dina walks in smiling and says, well, I hope Jack and Ashley have gotten over it by now and made the big announcement, that I have Alzheimers.  She says to Tracey, I may be losing my marbles but I am not stupid and I am not dying; I really don't need any of you to talk about me behind my back.  It's quite rude, my dears.  And then she says she is starving, is dinner ready, and they all chuckle.
  • Tessa expresses her concern about the stabbing incident to Drinki.  Drinki waves it off and says she is more concerned about Tessa and the Crystal situation.  She says that she should have come to her for help and that she is always there for her.  Tessa and Noah leave with Faith to take her to Sharon's house.  Reed packs up the kids and he and Vic leave.  Now it is just Prick and Drinki left alone in the living room.
  • Nick and Chelz arrive at the GCAC, and Phyllis hugs Nick for Summer, he mention's the Belize pics, and he compliments Phyllis' new hair do.  Chelz tells Ravi that he should be careful of the company he keeps, saying that Hil will pretend to be your friend but will turn on you in a second.  Hil invites her to come on her show to clear her name, and Chelz says she'll pass.  Hil says she cannot blame it all on Jordan, and Chelz angrily says she blames Hil. Nick suggests they leave, but Chelz dives right onto the couch beside Ravi.  Awkwardness ensues.  Phyllis tells about her travails with Billy living next door to her, playing her fave music loud, binge watching her fave shows loud, dropping off her fave lasagne at her door.  Hil and Noah think she is loving it.  Billy arrives, and sees Phyllis' new do and says, wow.  He wants everyone to set aside their differences and appreciate life.  Billy has a great idea for what they can all do--it is going to be EPIC.
  • Back at the Abbotts', Dina is regaling them with stories from her Paris adventures.  Then a smiling Dina turns to Abby and says, Ash, please tell  your brother to stop watching me like a hawk, I'm perfectly fine.  They all seem a little uncomfortable but Tracey plays along and chides Jack.  They give thanks.  Jack promises that they will all be there for Dina, to care for her, protect her, and love her.  Jack announces that because family is so important to him he is taking a leave of absence from Jabot.
  • Drinki talks about last Thanksgiving, how wonderful it was, and asks Prick whether they will have that again.  He says he has things to attend to and asks her to show herself out, and she does.  Oh yeah, it's only a  matter of time now.  So disappointing, Drinki.
  • Billy's plan is to take them all on the Jabot jet to New Orleans.  Wait, what, Billy has access to the Jabot jet?  Ravi can't go cause he has to work tomorrow.  Hil kisses Phyllis goodnight and says she cannot go with because of her hit TV show.  Nick and Chelz are up for it.  Phyllis falls for it, and tells Billy, hell yeah, now that's my boyfriend. He asks if they are back together and she says loves him.  Billy asks Nick if they really want to come with, and he replies that he wants to take his girl to NO, and he likes Phyllis just fine.  Billy says that is good enough for him, and says this is going to be a weekend they are never going to forget.

Previews:  a repeat of last year's Thanksgiving episode.  I think it was last year, it was when Cane was addicted to painkillers and Jack had just learned about Phyllis and Billy.  Or was that two years ago?

Sounds like an episode of The OC.

I read that the show is casting a new mature female. I have faith that she will be Jack's new lady. He's past due for one.

Until I see it I won’t believe this woman is for Jack. No character deserves a good, loving relationship more than Jack but that bag of Dorian Gray’s bones in Prick’s body always get the first go at a new female. TBH I’m surprised he didn’t force a disgusting relationship with Tessa on on us. I’ve been afraid and holding my breath that they’d change Abby’s paternity and go there.? Prick is a venomous, vitriolic, arrogant ass and so is EB based on interviews. I don’t care how iconic his character is he has been influential in the ruination of Y&R which should stand for the Yucky and Revolting!

Happy Thanksgiving y’all!?

Welcome back @natalie wood!!!

I agree. Jack is not getting a new love interest. Nope he’s old and gross (people have sex after 40, 50, 60!? No way!!!). Mal listens to Twitter fans and that’s what they say, so...

Nope Jackie’s main “woman” will be his sick mother, whose Alzheimer’s is an excellent tool to give us fires, stabbings, and more...Philly romcom.

Fuck but I hate what has happened to this show.

Remember when it was BAD that Billy was "only in scenes with Victoria and the kids"?

It's OK now that he's just galavanting around town with Phyllis, though!

Or how contrived it is? Because when Sally tried to give Villy scenes that was soooo FORCED.

Now, well, now Mal has to undo what Sally did so it's great. RME.

And where will we go with this FUN HOT AWESOME couple? You know they'll get married and the wedding will be FULL of hijinks. But that's it? Hijinks and physical comedy and Gina tossing her new short blonde hair and saying in that charming teeth clenched way only she can do "Billyabbott I LOVE you my boyfriend Billyabbott."

My goodness, am I grateful for Mal Young's bold, refreshing take on my favorite daytime drama! So much has changed.

  • When did Cane become such a morose jackass?
  • A supposedly nice guy has illicit sex with a box of babbling hair behind Sharon's back, undoubtedly knocking her up. Is the box of hair's little follicle the result of a storage unit shag or the sex trafficker sexytimes? Gosh, I can't imagine what the answer is.
  • When did the Newman family become such assholes?
  • Thank the gods that we've got a fresh new Billy and Phyllis relationship based on maturity and bringing the best out in each other. I was getting so tired of the stalking and juvenile romcom antics.
  • I greatly value the heroic efforts Young has made to insert the lovable Billy into as many situations as possible. Rescuing teens from a fire was the highlight and so well done.
  • Putting Jack into a storyline too painful to watch was a very nice touch. Thank you, Mal, for taking a seasoned, talented actress and slapping an expiration date on her time with the show. These wrinkled up old actors with their nuance and their professionalism were bringing me down. I prefer the more sophisticated fare of two grown sisters acting like mean girls.
  • When Nick is the least offensive Newman on my screen, you know good TV is happening.
  • The conclusion to the Bloodsworth saga was absolutely amazing and so sharp in its logic. What an expertly woven tapestry. The not-even-really-Ashley's stepbrother was the twist of the year. God, that was satisfying.
  • Hillary and Phyllis being besties just makes sense. Jack doesn't need any friends since he'll be consumed with taking care of his mother.

Thank you for what you've done to my soap, Mal. I hope the network rewards you properly.

@NinjaPenguins!! So happy to see you posting again. I don't know how the hell I'm going to get through Mal's reign. But if you post...

The latest promo has Jack coming out of his office to catch those fun kids Phyllis and Billy making out (prone) on Gloria's desk. They jump apart and Gina does her SPECTACULAR physical comedy move of falling off the desk.

I think we are all supposed to laugh and laugh and laugh.

Except PB plays Jack as he should be having caught such a sight: devastated and horrified. "I guess you two kissed and made up" he says in a monotone.

WTF is this? GT and JT are on Three's Company and PB is on the Young and the Restless. How's that going to work?

Mal. Young. Is. A. Hack.

I haven't seen that promo--not holding my breath, either--except for PB's comment.

I'm still thrown by The Return of Madcap Irresponsible Spontaneous Billy! Gas up the Jabot Jet! Let's ride this plot mechanic all the way to New Orleans! Like that stupid turn of events didn't stick out like a sore pile.

Right? Who cares if the pilot and crew had plans to be with their families on the holiday? We're one percenters, we are the only ones who count. Screw the "little people!"

The whole thing is so gross. I mean he just found out his siblings are in this horrible situation so he takes the Jabot jet (Jack would have to okay this presumably) to fuck Jack's former wife while he deals with his mom's devastating illness.

If anything a person might get serious and if they MUST do Philly have him act like a grown man and say sorry to her and that he fucked up and life is short and precious and he's treated it too lightly for too long and he won't stalk her any more (but of course he already went through this when his daughter died on his watch; which with all due respect to his siblings' mother's dementia would be a far more life-changing event for him).

And of course as @Gloriole33 so perfectly expressed the foursome -- Philly plus Nick and Chelzzz?? WTF? and NOLA?????? Why Mal why? Show has recent couples' history there. Esp Nick (and also Phyllis because I remember her watching Nick get dumped by Sharon--who chose Chelsea's very own ADAM).

Whatever. Fuck history, character, context, logic. MAL YOUNG IS IN THE HOUSE.

i wonder if the cast are really going to new orleans or will it just be a studio set?

if they are really going to nola, what a waste of money and it should be just a set.

I'm pretty positive no location scenes. That would stretch the Thanksgiving weekend into next week and Mal won't do that. Thankfully we won't see this shit.

I just couldn't hold it in anymore. What in the actual fuck is this unquenchable garbage fire? This might be a minority opinion, but I hated Three's Company and don't find farce all that delightful. Billy has young kids. Phyllis has grown ass kids and a granddaughter. They display less mature behavior than Summer for crissakes. And there is way, way too much Abby, who is really quite repellent and should be excised from the Abbott family alongside Buttbiscuit posthaste.

Between this basket of piping hot crap and the ongoing fellatio being performed on trifling turdlet Steffy over on B&B, all the good escapism is being ruined.

I really like Phyllis' hair cut as well. However, I still think she looked better as a red-head than she does that brownish blonde look she has going on. Ashley's hair looked shorter as well. I liked it.

Why are they doing this to Jack's character? What is the point of this? Phyllis and Jack HAVE NO REASON TO EVER BE IN SCENES TOGETHER. THEY SHOULD NOT BE FRIENDS OR COWORKERS. But because Gina Tognoni still needs to work with PB in some way as long as she gets to make out with JT, too.... here we are.

Yep. Same as Phyllis and Hilary. It's a bullshit friendship and frankly feels fake as hell to me. In fact it would actually be interesting if it were fake (a cat and mouse game except cat and cat). But Phyllis the psycho cheater needs MORE LOYAL FRIENDS. She has Michael; she has Lauren; she has Jack; she has Nick; and now she has Hilary.

Who else has this many friendships on this show? Anyone? Ever?

And there is no purpose except to allow Gina to SHINE.

Mal made Hilary and Phyllis friends cause

A) he loves them both

B) Phyllis needs someone to interact with  that he has/wants to write for. Phyllis' friends are Michael and Lauren. He's not interested in those characters. It's practical, in his mind, to pair Phyllis with another character whom he enjoys writing (See A).

C) Hilary needed a female friend to confide in.

Win, win for Mal Young. He doesn't care whether it makes sense.

Nick being a Philly supporter and going on a trip is a very WTF moment. Especially when you consider how Vikki is being written as "changed"/hurt because of how things ended with Billy.

A) Because it makes Mal happy does not equal purpose, ie story purpose, movement, character development. These two women who should not trust or like each other suddenly being the bestest insta-girlfriends in the world (what's next? mani-pedis on Christmas day?) is ludicrous and serves no purpose.

B) Phyllis. Does. Not. Need. Another. Friend. Jack is plenty, so is Nick (if he doesn't care to write for Michael or Lauren).

C) Why did Hilary need a female friend to confide in? It strikes me that a woman like Hilary wouldn't have female friends (neither would Phyllis -- which is why for years it was only Michael). They are traditional soap vixens. They don't go around braiding their bestie's hair and giggling over boyfriends.

This is full on stupid.

Mal is just writing random scenes, relationships, scenarios to showcase Gina and Jason as his romcom fantasy sitcom stars. We are supposed to swoon not expect any kind of storytelling or respect for character. And we are also expected to sit back and be thrilled as GT and JT become the lead characters/couple on this show.

We have zoomed past Thanksgiving into next week in GC.  Lots of nauseating stuff today, but a few good things as well.

  • Jack is at Jabot to hold a meeting with dept heads to discuss the transition from him as CEO to Ash as Interim CEO.  Jack texts Drinki who is at the GCAC, and she ignores his text.  Prick and Mikey are also in the dining room at the GCAC, and Cricket and two feds show up to tell Prick they need to question him.  From here on in all of Prick's interactions with Cricket are condescending and snarky.  When he leaves with Cricket, the press shows up in the foyer, and for the second time we get Prick glancing over at Drinki.  Yup, it's on again.
  • The NOLA rom com com crew arrive at CL and everyone but Billy is seriously hungover.  Nick says he has not gotten that wild or crazy since...and he means when he and Phyllis were together.  Phyllis and Billy go to Jabot.  Chelz and Nick have a meaningless convo about the weekend, getting old, etc.  Nick did reveal that Billy did everything VIP, throwing money around.  Nick says he is going to the police station to follow up on the arson.  Honestly, one could skip all dialogue between Chelz and Nick because it is so painfully boring.
  • Paul is investigating the fire at the Underpants and the report concludes arson.  Which I thought we already knew, but he seemed surprised.
  • Philly show up at Jabot and they are making out in the elevator and have apparently done so for three runs up and down.  In the reception area of Jabot, Billy throws Phyllis on the desk and starts making out with her when Jack walks out of his office.  Phyllis rolls over the desk pretending to look for those pesky staples.  Hilarious.  Jack says that he understands that Billy made use of the company jet.  He did not berate him for doing so?!  He says he was surprised to see Phyllis' name on the list and then Philly proceed to start talking about how much kissing and making up they did, and Jack says, no need for details, check your email for details on important Jabot changes.  Phyllis questions why Jack is stepping down, and he explains he is taking time off to take care of Dina because of her stroke.  Phyllis challenges his decision and he tells her he doesn't want her advice, just that she get along with Ash.  She leaves, and Jack thanks Billy for keeping the secret about Dina. Billy leaves as Drinki shows up and she is full of attitude.  Jack apologizes to Drinki about his behaviour.  She says her injuries from Dina weren't that bad, but she didn't expect him to dismiss them entirely.  Then she apologizes to Jack for the things she said about Dina.  He tells her he was having difficulty accepting the truth about Dina, and then he tells her that Dina has Alzheimers and we cut to a scene of Dina at the house looking confused.  Drinki thanks him for sharing.  He tells her he is leaving Jabot for a while.  She tells him to get good home care for Dina, and he insists that he will look after her himself.  She tells him that he is hoping to help Dina beat it, but it will not work.  She relates about her experience with someone who had Alzheimers and explains that it is unmanageable, there is no logic, it is agonizing for the patient and the family.  Jack says he has never before set everything aside to do what's meaningful, what's good, why is she trying to scare him away from doing this. He says he is not going to abandon Dina or punish an old woman for ancient mistakes.  Drinki offers to help him.  He says no, and says it is time they step away from each other.  Drinki thinks it is because his mother cannot stand Drinki, but he says no one is making him make this decision.  Drinki says she is going to miss them together, and they are both quite emotional.
  • Prick is in the squad room, waiting for Mikey to show up.  Nick arrives and asks what Prick what he is doing there.  Prick snarks about Cricket and her fishing expedition.  He says tomorrow he will back behind his desk running his business, unless it has burned down mysteriously.  Paul arrives saying he wants to talk to Nick about the arson.  Prick advises Nick that insurance companies will try to make Nick responsible for the fire.  Paul questions Nick.  Nick convinces Paul that he didn't torch his place.  He suggests that his father may have, but Paul doesn't think so.  They talk through what could have happened and Nick says whatever happened it was after he left.  Paul says, the second time.  He explains the kids heard Nick leave twice.  Nick says it was not him.  Paul lets him review the evidence that was bagged at the scene.  Nick sees the pic of Brent and Paul asks if he knows the mystery man.  Prick, from about 10 feet away, identifies the man as Brent Davis, Dina's former lover.
  • Mikey arrives and the interrogation of Prick begins.  Cricket comes on quite strong.  Prick wants to know where the feds are, and she says she is doing the questioning and he says, so they were two muscle-bound props.  Prick explains how Zack got involved with Abby via Design Date.  Cricket says, then you knew he ran massage parlours, and Pricks says no.  She says, you had him vetted, and he says, not good enough, obvi.  He says Zack was not an employee, Prick had no idea about the sex ring, he has no idea how much DD made, but it was a pittance.  Mikey tells Cricket she is being argumentative.  Prick says he is a legitimate businessman.  She says, and this is my favourite part: a legitimate businessman who had his corporate rival kidnapped and who turned a drug lord on his wife, it is not that much of a jump that you would partner with a sex trafficker, despite your efforts to shift the blame on your own daughter.  Go, Cricket!
  • Jack arrives home and tells Dina that he is going to take time off work so that he can spend more time with her.  She says it is a horrible idea, she irritates him and he irritates her.  She tells him to spend time with his wife, Patty.  He tells her that he and Patty have been divorced for years.  She gets irritated and says she just wants a cup of tea.  He says he will make it for and she says she can make her own tea and stomps off.   Nick arrives and shows Jack the picture of Brent.  Jack says Dina knew Brent decades ago.  Nick wants to talk to Dina but Jack says no.  Nick says he is in trouble and he didn't start the fire.  Jack says, you think an old woman recovering from a stroke went to the UP to burn it down?  Nick persists, but Jack says he has enough to deal with his mother, and Nick says, yeah, like her stabbing my mother.  Nick thinks Dina could have started the fire, and Jack throws him out.  Jack looks worried.
  • Back to the rom com com; Phyllis is so thrilled that Billy is driving her home from work.  Billy tells her he went to the rooftop of the TOTT and looked down at the worker ants, and now he has decided he doesn't want to go back to the corporate world.  Riveting! They talk about living life on the edge, and that they had let their life get boring before NOLA and they enter the elevator and start making out.
  • Cricket questions Prick about Natalia and the sex ring.  She asks him if he had sex with any of the DD prostitutes!  Hah!  Prick says that Cricket is just upset that his sentence was commuted. He says that is why she is on this witch hunt.  Prick tells her that he went hunting with someone above her paygrade who said he will not allow her to get away with this vendetta.  She says she knows all about his old boys hunting club, and she also has the support of her superiors to pursue this case relentlessly.
  • Chelz and Nick are at the GCAC bar talking about Dina as the potential arsonist, and they are exhausted from their weekend, and Philly arrive.  They are still in a NOLA mood and says their party didn't end it just took a little disco nap(?) and Billy orders Bourbons all around. And they toast and Nick says something about that thing that happened in NOLA that will never be spoken about again.  GT Phyllis is now officially as annoying as Jazz Hands Phyllis.
  • Jack gently questions Dina about Halloween, the UP, the fire. He plays the album.  He asks about the photo of Brent.  She says that photo was only worth sad memories, memories that caused so much pain for Ash, pain that she wanted to end.  Dina remembers  trying to burn the photo.  She realizes she could have caused the fire and she breaks down, saying, oh my god, Jack, what is happening to me.
  • Mike and Prick are about to leave when Paul stops them.  He has the weapon that killed Zack and he says it belongs to a Newman.

Previews: At the GCAC, Jordan to Hil:   I have something for you to remember me by, and she replies, what does that mean, and he says, stay tuned.  Prick to Vic at NE:  So you think this is the stand the company should take, and she replies, of course, and he says, I don't think Abby will see it that way.  AT CL, Tessa to Drinki: I didn't want to interrupt you and Chief Williams, and Drinki replies, angrily, he and I are done, you and I are just getting started.  So, I guess that is why we had that lovely scene between Tessa and Drinki on Thanksgiving.  I thought that was out of the blue.  Tessa must have stolen Drinki's gun and given it Natalia.

I'm glad Jack and Nikki made up.

What a snooze fest the rest was. Best part was Jack and Dina, and Dina remembering the fire at underground, and that she could have started it. Her tears broke my heart.

other posters posted "foursome"..

EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW

i think someone speculated that on this forum...

Pure speculation, they might have got naked and jumped in a jacuzzi.( my guess) .. It's not going to amount to much, unless someone took photos...

An old photograph, a print DID NOT BURN in a fire that destroyed the entire building, even though it was the closest thing to Dina's dropped match? Okay.

Billy and Phyllis (acting like cheaters who can't get enough of each other even though they are 40somethings in an open relationship) thought it was cute to tell Jack HOW MUCH kissing was involved in their making up? Okay.

And Chick and Philly did some naughty stuff that can't be mentioned tee hee and are all hung over like a group of spring break co-eds. Got it.
