  1. Smashed to bits. Diane did the honors.
  2. House 3, with Jack and Mariah. Chloe is the only annoying person there. The rest are inoffensive and maybe, just maybe, Chance and Chloe could reignite their epic love affair while Mariah and I tag team them with snark and Jack bites his lower lip and grimaces. Under his mask, of course.
  3. Figgered as much. Hope is dead so it wouldn't matter if she did it. That left Adam as the only possible living suspect.
  4. My first gig was WAYE AM 860 in Baltimore. I was the first female air personality in the market and eventually got the morning drive slot. I was also a production director, music director and finally program director. That's the short story. As FM radio became more dominant our little operation faded, and I left when we abandoned album rock for a hits-only format. After a stint as the assistant manager of the Doubleday Book Store in Century City, CA I returned to PA and got back into radio, this time in news. Yadda yadda yadda another morning show and then I went to Atlanta where I did news on AM radio under one name and news, traffic reporting and comedy on FM using another name. Gave up the AM job and wound up being the music director on the FM when it went classic rock. Back to PA doing news for an AM-FM combo and finally "retired" during the Clinton scandal because I just couldn't take it anymore and Clear Channel was breathing down our neck and I probably would have been fired anyway. So that's my time in radio, 1973-1999.
  5. Cupid Stunt, I love your avatar. I have that album in my record collection and used to play "Mole on the Dole" on my radio show back in the '70s.
  6. Mamie's date was briefly in one scene. And she was rockin' it as Josephine Baker.
  7. I believe you are remembering "My World and Welcome to It" starring William Windom, which ran on NBC in 1969-70. It was based on the the writings of James Thurber.
  8. Sincere condolences to you, Teri, and your family. Lynda was a delight and we were all enriched by having her as part of our community. She is sorely missed but will never be forgotten. Hugs from me and Mr. Gloriole.
  9. I am so sorry for your loss, peacheslatour. Peaches had a great life. Peace to all.
  10. Happy birthday to me! I need some laughs to offset the tears of today's show (which, incidentally, was totally ruined for me because that leering swamp creature couldn't keep his web-hands off of Lily). I told the folks at CBS that Cane is the Nickelback of soap opera characters. I lied. He's ten times worse than that.
