The GCEh?C: Canadian Episodes (Spoilers for Non-Canadians)

Meh.

It's still Thanksgiving. All the Newmans are over at the ranch and Victor is gleeful and in his element. This makes me upset, heh. Even Nick and Chelsea show up with Christian, which leaves Victor pleased as punch. Earlier, Nikki showed up at the Cottage to invite Dylan to dinner while ignoring and insulting Sharon but Dylan declined to have dinner at the Penthouse.

Christine, Paul, Michael, Lauren, Kevin, Mariah, Chloe and Bella are all celebrating together. Chloe thought Chelsea and Connor would be celebrating with them since it's her house, but Chelsea decided to celebrate with Nick instead. Sharon and Dylan show up just as Nick, Chelsea and baby are leaving. Awkward. Made more so when Sharon calls Christian Sully and Nick glowers.

Sharon continues to make things awkward by asking Michael about her and Dylan's options concerning the baby. Dylan overhears and gets mad, Michael excuses himself, Dylan and Sharon shout while everyone freezes and then Dylan storms out. Paul gets mad at Sharon and dear lord, someone get her some meds, stat. This isn't the time or place, Sharon. Fuckin' A.

Sharon leaves but not before asking to speak with Chloe privately. She asks Chloe to say a good word to Chelsea about letting Dylan and her see Sully. Chloe says it's not her place but Sharon begs. Sharon knows that Nick listens to Chelsea. Chloe reluctantly says she will mention it if it the situation arises. Sharon thanks her and gives her a hug. Seriously, Seroquel, Lithium, something!

At the Newman diner, everyone is going around in a circle saying what they're most grateful for. Vicky says she's grateful for the nice, patient man in her life and accepts Travis' proposal, much to everyone's surprise. Later, as everyone is congratulating the happy couple, Victor says it's normally tradition for the future groom to ask the father for his daughter's hand in marriage. Travis says no offense but that's old fashioned and he's not looking to marry Victor, heh. Nikki says good, because he's already taken.

Billy is at the cabin and refuses to leave. He and Jack watch some football and there are times when Jack seems to almost forget that he hates Billy. However, upon learning that Phyllis was the one to get Billy to come over, Jack eventually kicks Billy out.

Billy shows up at the Newman Ranch to pick up the kids. Johnny tells Billy that 'Mommy is getting married." Heh. I love Johnny. And his cute little jacket.

Jill and Phyllis are at the park, Phyllis is trying to convince Jill that she loves Jack. Eventually Jill leaves and Phyllis runs into Jack. She mentions that she's helping the homeless and asks Jack to come back with her and help. Jack agrees. Jill sees a smiling Jack and Phyllis side by side serving the homeless and smiles.

Dylan shows up at the Ranch and asks to speak with Nick. Dylan pulls Nick aside and tells him he will be suing for visitation. Nick's face is hilarious, heh.

Previews how Sharon and Dylan speaking with Michael and asking if they have a chance. Michael is seen speaking to Dylan and saying he would have a better chance without Sharon.

So apologies to her fans but Sharon Case had a lot of subtle stuff to work with today and sorry, in my books, she's just wooden.  I don't get it.  I used to love her with Muhney (and had been indifferent to her prior) but I don't get what's happened to her... she's just unable to express much.   

I did LOL when Victor said:  Son, do you really think I'm gonna change at this age?  I did laugh.  At least it was honest. 

Nice to see Leslie again.  Why don't they power couple her with Neil?  Or bring on a guy for her.   There are so many expendables. Deplorables even.

I do wish there was a random guy who didn't know Victor at all but saw him in GC and just shot him dead. I am so tired of Victor that I've essentially quit watching this show. He disgusts me to no end after the heinous crime he committed against Jack and Phyliss. What kind of human being would do something like that?! Kill him off and bring on some new people that we might be able to root for and support.

And then, when I am catching up on Y and R....holy shit, he's there too.  This is the world we live in.  Every time Pricktor  was cuddling his grand babies, there was Stepford Drinki, and vacant Abby, and more vacant Dummer.   

Then they did the big dinner table a la Downtown Abby and they had the most vile vicious human  being at head of the table, and all I could think was, this is the ugly and all his kids and grandkids are totally okay with that ugly.  And Drinki, really?  For  about five seconds you had a brain and now you are the most pathetic woman ever.

Eh. I liked it on Summer/Hunter King. As others have mentioned, she's been looking very mature lately, and it's working for her IMO.

That said, it just occurred to me...why now after all these years is beyond me but...shouldn't Summer have darker hair? Phyl is a redhead and Nick is dark brown/black, and I do seem to remember the teenaged Summer and the Stupor Girl one before her both being in the medium-brown to red-brown area.

Super quick one tonight.

Jill is interviewing Travis for a position at Brash & Sassy. She's doing this as a courtesy to Victoria. During the interview she tells Travis she has no plans to actually hire him and Victoria belongs with Billy. Oh, Jill. Shut up. Your son sucks.

Meanwhile, Cane learns about the interview and freaks out about being replaced. Lily comes home to find Cane trying to put on pants. She tries to calm him down but when that doesn't work, agrees to bring him to the office.

Cane gets there as Travis is leaving and Jill is hurt and surprised to see Cane there. She can't believe Cane would think she would replace him. Appeased, they sent him home with a bunch of work to do.

The custody hearing is today. That seems even more ridiculously fast that usual.

At the GCAC, Victor is going on about how Dylan must have known all along or he was a dumbass. Nikki tries to ignore him and get Nick to understand that Dylan was a victim in all of this. Hilary is buzzing around trying to get sound bites from everyone and secretly tape recording them. Devon is trying to reign her in.

As they're going to court, Nick tells Nikki that he is considering letting Dylan, and only Dylan, have visitation. Nikki is happy but Nick warns her he hasn't completely made up his mind yet.

At the cottage, Dylan admits that Michael thinks he would have a stronger case for visitation without Sharon but he won't do that to her. Sharon lets it slip that she saw Sully and Dylan freaks out. Sharon says she didn't know she would be seeing him but Chloe was babysitting and told her to come over faking a work emergency. Dylan is scared this will come out but Sharon says no one knows.

At court, before going in, Chelsea says she has to speak to Nick. In the courtroom Nick freaks out and says he can't trust Dylan. He asks if Dylan knew Sharon went to see Christian the other day and Dylan admits he did. Chloe shoots Chelsea a dirty look.

Kevin is still trying to protect Mariah from Hilary. Hilary isn't allowed cameras in the courtroom but is there watching and trying to record people in the hall. No one wants to speak to her and she's frustrated. Devon suggests she wait outside with the press and Hilary says there goes her exclusive.

Billy shows up in court and catches Victoria in the hall. Billy says he can't keep this to himself any longer. Travis cheated on her.

I can't with Chelsea, she knows that kid is not Nick's yet she and the writing is actually acting like she believe's that kid is Nick's. She has no problem taking the baby away from the parents he grew with to give to another parent she knows is not his real parent.

She's known forever that Nick was not the father of that baby and lied to Nick, but Sharon she hates on. What a hypocrite. 

She and Nick will sit by and let Sharon and Dylan get restraining orders. Nick's going insane demanding that. I need the judge to request a DNA test, NOW.

Quick one tonight.

Victoria demands that Travis tell her the truth. Travis wants to discuss this in the hallway outside of the courtroom but she storms off to the house with him following. Travis finally admits he slept with Michelle. He says he was drunk and it was a mistake. He wants Vicky and says Victoria should understand about drunken mistakes since she went a whole 9 months not knowing who the father of Katie was. Hahahaha. Right, because that'll win her over, Travis. Victoria's mouth falls open and she storms upstairs and starts throwing Travis' things down the stairs. She shouts that she wants him gone by the time she gets back home.

Billy is at work. Jill is happy Billy told Victoria whatever secret he was keeping from her. Jill figures out Travis had an affair and is shocked but also gleeful. Billy says Victoria hates him and accused him of wanting her to be unhappy. He says he only wanted for her to be happy. Jill leaves and Victoria shows up. She's upset, Billy tries to hug her, she pushes him off and starts crying in a chair.

The judge is annoyed of everyone bickering in his courtroom. He orders everyone but the people involved in the case out. After listening to both sides, he says he'll be back in a few minutes to give a decision. The judge comes back and says while he feels that everyone here loves Christian, and only wants what's best for him, he's going to grant a TEMPORARY restraining order against Sharon and Dylan while he takes time to decide on a verdict concerning visitation. Nick is happy, Dylan and Sharon are sad, but Michael tells them not to lose hope. Nikki is sad for Dylan while Victor doesn't understand what is wrong with the judge and why would he even consider visitation. Shut up, Victor.

Chloe comes into the courtroom and Sharon asks how could she have told Chelsea about her visit. She says Chloe sabotaged her.

Chelsea and Chloe have words. Chloe is mad that Chelsea told Nick about Sharon visiting with Christian. Chelsea is mad that Chloe put her in that position. It appears Chloe will be moving out.

Nick is mad at everyone and keeps going on about HIS son. Shut up, Nick. He's mad at Chelsea for taking a whole day to tell him the truth about Sharon and Christian. Chelsea tries to apologize but Nick is too mad.

Nick shows up at the ranch where Victor and Nikki are bickering about Dylan. Victor still thinks Dylan was in on it and shouldn't have any rights to see Christian. Nick tells Nikki he's disappointed that she's choosing Dyan over him. Nikki tries to say she's not but Nick goes off to see HIS son. Victor tells Nikki sometimes you have to choose between two people. Nikki looks upset.

Hilary is still trying to some juicy news for her segment. She wants to interview Mariah but Mariah is avoiding her. An old babysitter of Christian shows up and starts taking selfies of herself at the studio and with Hilary. She even has a selfie stick. She tells Hilary she's willing to say anything Hilary wants her to say on camera. The groupie leaves and Devon goes up to Hilary and says she was talking to the 'nanny' for quite awhile. Hilary tells him the nanny just wants her 15 minutes of fame and she won't be putting her on the air. Devon seems pleased. I'm unsure.

Sharon and Dylan are at the cottage and Sharon promises not to do anything to violate the restraining order and jeopardize their chances of getting visitation rights with Christian. They hug.

And that's all I can remember.

I half-watched, mostly the courtroom scenes, and I still cannot believe that Drinki lets Prick to her that way and also trashes her son.   I think he actually called her "girl" once today.  But Drinki's hair looked really nice today.

Nick is being a complete Dick.  I wanted Chelz to blurt out that Can was Adam's son.

When Chloe and Chelz were arguing at the end, Chloe said something like: you have no idea of what I have done for you, or something like that.  So Chloe thinks she did Chelz a favour by blowing up and/or holding hostage her husband?  She's a crazy one and she subscribes to the Pricktor Newman philosophy of all the sacrifices he made to help the people he loves.

Dickolas, when it comes right down to it, always defaults to being a dick.  A very buttbiscuian dick - noxious in odor, offputting in appearance, the sort of growth doctors remove by burning.  (No, I don't know exactly what I mean either, just that I HATE Dickolas and it's late).

So his hissy fit about Sharon seeing the kid - and this time she really WAS set up - is all out of proportion to what happened, much like whatever the hell it was that set him off about Ol' Hammertoes' journal when he went off on Adam and wouldn't allow the exhumation, until he did.   Plus, he's agreeing with Victor a lot these last few days so I guess this might presage a "darker" direction for the Dick.  

Now sit back and try to imagine the actor being able to carry that transformation off.....and try not to choke with laughter.

The Newman DNA is certainly nothing to write home about.

Victor is a huge wrinkled sphincter . Dylan is Nikki's son too and she shouldn't have to choose. Period. Nick is acting like a big spoiled baby because Mummy is expressing sympathy for her other son who has now been robbed of fatherhood twice. Too bad it was Adam in the flaming cabin of doom and not those two asshats. 

Wouldn't surprise me either if Chloe helped Adam get out. She made him think that leaving Chelsea and Connor behind was the best solution. Not telling him of course that she wanted Gaspy for herself. 

ETA: Is this the end of Travis? Just his sexy self standing at the door of Vicki's house? Those poor kids and the revolving door of men .

I kinda like that Sharon isn't taking anybody's shit.  Maybe Sharon Case's problem is she is afflicted with Linda Evans voice syndrome... soft... sleepy... can't really yell.  A couple of times I thought she sounded like movie Jan Brady.

So Nick is still going on about HIS son and is mad at everyone including Nikki for defending Dylan. Nick and Christian show up at Crimson Lights and Sharon and Mariah are already there. Sharon follows him to the counter and he says she's in violation of the restraining order. Um, Sharon was there first and Dylan owns Crimson Lights so shouldn't Nick have to go elsewhere to get coffee? Nikki shows up and freaks out and tells Sharon she is going to call Paul. Mariah says there's no need for that and drags Sharon out.

Victoria is upset about Travis but when Billy tries to broach the subject she says it's fine and she's used to being cheated on. I'm bored by this whole story line.

Cane is heading back to work.  And refusing to use his crutches. Yes, by all means. Hobble around like a moron so you can hurt yourself and risk further setbacks. He's clearly in pain and according to Lily he 'feels warm' but he brushes her concerns aside and says he's fine. Cane tells Lily to get the car started while he grimaces once she leaves and eyes the bottle of pain meds.

Later, at Brash and Sassy, a hot woman enters and says she's Cane's physical therapist and his exercise bike has arrived. Apparently Lily hired her. I wonder if Lily knows what she looks like? She drags Cane away while Billy looks on partly amused and party envious, heh.

Jack invites Neil over to Jabot. Apparently, during the dishing out of Thanksgiving dinner at Crimson Lights, Jack saw their foundation's first member who is now homeless. He's upset and asking Neil what happened. Neil says this is why the foundation needs Jack, because he cares! But Jack still says he doesn't believe in the mission. Finally Jack agrees to think about coming back, but I think that was more to get Neil out of his office.

Phyllis is having breakfast at the GCAC with Michael. They discuss Sharon and Dylan, and Phyllis tells Michael about spending Thanksgiving with Jack at Crimson Lights. She says her plan to stay on at Jabot and work with Jack seems to be working.

Nikki shows up at the cottage and Mariah hightails it out of there. Nikki says if Sharon loves Dylan as much as she claims to, she will let him go. Sharon is incredulous.

Mariah shows up at the GCAC and warns Michael, who is now alone as Phyllis left for work, about the Crimson Lights incident and that Nikki is now over at the cottage.

Jack tells Phyllis they have a lot of work to do to stay ahead of Brash and Sassy and he hopes she's up for the job. She says she is.

Previews show Sharon telling Michael she needs to divorce Dylan.
