You cant rid of Myrtle! Shes a fixture, like the lights! You cant fire the lights!

Of course Garret would create an elaborate revenge plot because Mateo dissed Star Wars and Star Trek. They're not the same thing, Mateo!

"I dont like it!" "I dont like it either but I cant stop!" So, no Kelly this week? Maybe it was her day off.

I find things going on in the background funny too....the guy drinking soft drinks & then putting the carton back on the shelf and the guy trying to open the plastic bags: that is Me :)  I can Never open the plastic bags for my fruit & vegetables!   I wonder if the District Manager lady will appear again...I rather liked her with her dry comments & she was impressed with Amy & Jonah's financial skills.  Dina trying to hide her baby bump made me laugh :) And I like Mrytle, I hope they don't get rid of her.

I live in StL and Craig Moeller really is Channel 5’s weatherman! LOL

And shots of Urban Chesntut beer on the shelves. Love those place setting details in this show!

I was happy to see the Jonah and Amy friendship back.  It's like...the stories of each week are clearly after the previous ones (Dina's pregnancy is progressing, Jeff quit his job) but the small details seems to flip and flop around.

Mateo - I'm with you on Star Wars/ Star Trek.  DO NOT GET IT.

I’m in Texas and during Hurricane Harvey Craig Moeller came to our local station to fill in.  I never figured out where he came from since it was never mentioned while I was watching and didn’t think to Google it.  I almost fell off the couch when they mentioned his name I double-taked hard!  Craig Moeller is real!

And yes, the episode was way stronger without Kelly.

I don't know what's better, Myrtle's inexplicable hatred for Ginger Rogers or the fact that Marcus can name several movies in which Ginger Rogers was better than Rita Hayworth.

How many of Glenn's cars does this make as stolen or destroyed? It's at least the third time (the other two I can think of are when the staff was locked in the store and watched a guy steal it and someone breaking all the windows with the power washer), but I feel like I'm missing one.

“I see we’ve solved sexism.” The breakroom conversations might be my favorite part of the show.

I I like the conversations, but I don't understand the meetings.  At the beginning of this episode it seemed to me that it was before the store opened, but when they have random ones in the middle of the day, who's on the floor?  And if there are meant to be people on the floor during the meetings, how are they chosen to be the ones to watch the floor while everyone else is informed about what's going on?

IIRC most of the cast are not cashiers. IIRC when Walmart does meetings they ask for everyone available to join in. Meaning if you’re on the floor doing nothing you go to the meeting while the cashiers, door security, etc stays at their stations.

I LOVED when he rattled off those titles and that he acted like of course it was a brain freeze and everyone could've done same. Only time I think I've ever enjoyed that character.

He does?  Why is he the only one who wears a uniform?  What is he doing all over the store?

Only warehouse worker in the ensemble. Also he’s not the best employee so of course he wanders the store. Also I wonder if what OP called meetings is actually them on their break.

Everyone wears a uniform. For most it's just the pinafore/vest. For Glenn, it's the tie.

Marcus is wearing a standard work outfit, which might be supplied by CloudNine. Put on that shirt and pants, add a clipboard and you could probably wander into the back of any large store with no questions asked. Maybe even take a forklift or two home with you.

I don't really think about it. Justin Spitzer came from "The Office", so these are his versions of the conference room scenes. A certain amount of "suspension of disbelief" is required.

I hope the actress playing Myrtle is retiring or will be brought back next week, because I'll miss her and I don't like seeing an older actress lose a job.

Marcus works in the warehouse.

But remember he was fired in last season's finale. So maybe he was rehired as a regular store employee and that's why he's back with the normal vest.

I love Glenn's pink tie, presumably to make an impression on the female District Manager. Hilariously subtle.

She may want to retire, though.

Oh, these are very much like the shift meetings at Walmart - anyone on the floor who's available attends along with anyone who's in the breakroom at the time.

I did a double-take on Myrtle name-checking Craig Moeller, too.  I live in SE Virginia and he was one of our weather guys before St. Louis lured him away about 2 years ago.

Craig's getting around!  LOL

Lick your thumb and index finger.

Rub the thin plasic between the two. If you have the openable end of the bag, it will open. If not, try the other end.

Usually this works when you turn it around again.
