I don't know much about Group 3 but I'm guessing maybe by Group 4 until Kaori or Mirai.

She's the best -- very even-handed. She points out jumps that have been under-rotated, edges, etc. Impressive knowledge. Maybe she was a judge.

This Kazakh skater is very DRAMATIC with the outfit and music. I like it.

Falls? I've noticed ice dancers do not wear such thick stockings probably because the chances of falling are less. But singles and pairs skaters always wear thick, usually darker industrial tights.

I was thinking the same thing!  The sassy bounce of the Hamill does add to the performance.

Well Austman seems to be skating with a lot of speed. I think this could've been a good program without all the mistakes. She was certainly entertaining when she wasn't fighting for her jumps.

The heavy makeup makes her look much older than 19 though.

Do you think the judges at skating events ever get tired of the skaters playing to them? I know it is part of engaging the audience, but if I were a judge, I think I'd want to tell them, "Stop making creepy eye contact and pointing/gesturing to/biting your finger at me!"

Judging by the poor quality of skating in these first groups, I’d say awhile. I know she’s a relative unknown but it’s nuts her ranking couldn’t get in at least group 2 or 3.

The French skater looks VERY tall. I really like her music cuts.  Give her credit for going for some really hip modern music to skate to, but her skate leaves a lot be desired.

I’m sure he was! He already seemed personally offended by Larkyn’s poor channeling of Liza.
