Oh boy AbiFail already getting into an argument with Anne. Whether Anne starts it or not Anne will get most of the blame, but I really hope Anne takes her to task. We know Anne tells it like it is. 

 

I don't like the part of Chad blackmailing Kate. I really hope they don't turn Kate into a desperate woman like the rest of the women in Salem or dumb her down for this story.

Theresa using Paul to make Brady jealous. Why is she wasting her time? Writers just never let Theresa grow or do something where she doesn't repeat the same mistakes over and over. Poor JL.

I am suddenly very concerned that they will try to put Melanie and Lucas together to create tension with Dan. In one interview Bryan spoke about this person that they're gonna put Lucas with or something that he does that makes the audience go:'what?!'  Apparently he teams up with Will to solve a mystery.  Melanie is supposed to come back with a secret.  Either that or Lucas tries to seduce Paul to keep him away from Sonny.

Indeed. AS said in an interview that she was scared to say what her favorite pairing was because some fans go crazy on actors who do. But she had three major pairings, while Lumi far outdistances anything else Lucas has had.

I think it would be hilarious if she said that Franco was her favorite pairing.  It would probably result in crickets while her fans tried to remember who he was.  In all seriousness, though, I wouldn't be surprised if her favorite was Lucas.  I'm not saying that because I find Rafe boring and hate EJ (though I do) but because we know how much she adores Bryan and Lauren and Sami being with Lucas, as friend, enemy, and romantic interest, allowed her to work with both of them regularly.  I do think that the show will have to be cancelled before she'd reveal it, if at all.

The one thing that stops me from completely adoring Kate is that she breaks up every relationship Lucas has ever had, from poisoning to firing and relocating women.  It's pretty sick how involved she is.

Which is why I'd love to see how she would react to a Lumi reunion now, given how her relationship with Sami changed over the last year or so. I think she would have a more complex reaction than just a knee-jerk "Time for me to plot to ruin their relationship again!" one.

It will probably turn out that when they were considering adopting a baby during Round One, they also went to some fertility specialist who harvested seed to analyze sperm count in addition to testing Kritter's ability to carry a child to term.  Of course, they'll tape "new flashbacks" and discuss it as if everyone in their lives all knew about it.

I predict she is actually Sarah Horton.  No, she isn't an adult playing name games a la Jeannie Theresa.  Instead, "Serena" is the screenname/pseudonym/identity she uses as part of her internet dating profile.  She won't live in Salem and her romance will be with someone who hasn't seen recent Horton family photos and is also somewhat embarrassed by internet trolling, er dating (ie Eric).

Oh!  That was the epic Miami Storyline, complete with a 5-minute musical montage of Shane driving across the causeways of south Florida, heading to Victor's mansion where Victor was hosting Kimberly. A gorgeous location shoot.  Kim was pretending to be romance Victor (to get the goods on Victor to help Shane find "The Purse The Power and The Pawn").  Victor knew she was lying.  Shane was pretending to be some wealthy high-roller, although Victor knew he was ISA.  Kim slept with Victor to keep him from killing Shane.  

 

Andrew Brady Donovan (Jeannie T's big brother) was born nine months later after a torturous pregnancy wherein Kim found evidence that her mother had given birth to Victor's child, presumed that she was that child, and believed that she had been impregnated by her birth father.  That of course led to the revelation that Bo was actually the child in question, just as Bo was about to shoot Victor dead.

 

Ah, the 80s.

Anybody know who Spencer Neville is?  Guy Wilson and Molly Burnett both just followed him on Twitter, but I don't find any notices of his having been cast for anything.  He's definitely a pretty boy.  His most recent role was in a movie called "Dragula".

 

Whoops, I did some further Googling of him and there are quite a few underwear (and half-off underwear) pics of him online.

One Life to Live fans can finally catch one of their all-time favorites back in the soap saddle when Melissa Archer finally makes her on-screen debut as Serena on Days of our Lives! Archer will turn up in Salem on the December 5th episode of the sudser as world-traveled medical journalist Serena Mason!

And now, according to details in a new interview with TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan, Serena has a past with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) when they were working together in Africa, when he was a photographer there, and she was a journalist. It seems their torrid romance ended when he chose to be a man of the cloth … instead of the man in her bed! But why?

The popular redhead also gave a few other sneak peeks of what is to come in her chat with TVG. Here are a few excerpts below!

Melissa on what brings her to Salem: “She comes into town to do some important medical research. (Laughs) Because they have really good doctors in Salem — the best to choose from! Serena is extremely smart, a no-bulls–t kind of girl, which I really enjoy playing. She’s so different from my character, Natalie, on OLTL, who was tough but petulant. Serena is a real adult. Because of her profession, she’s not the type to wear her heart on her sleeve — otherwise she wouldn’t be able to survive the work.

Melissa on her new enemy Nicole (Arianne Zucker), who she thinks still has it for Eric: “I can’t speak for how Arianne sees her character but, from Serena’s point of view, Nicole is obsessed with Eric. Nicole has no idea who this Serena person is and it’s instant dislike. It was so much fun! I wish I had more scenes like that. Nicole is looking out for Eric, but she goes a little too far. (Laughs) It’s certainly not one of those soap-opera girly fights with a little slapping and hair-pulling. These are tough women. I won’t say anymore because it’s so worth watching!

I wish it was Sarah Horton. I was hoping - for absolutely no good reason except this is what I wanted to see - that Melissa would be playing Sarah, and Sarah would be someone to shake up the smug in Maggie's life. Not to be, I guess.....

Really good doctors in Salem, OK, that gets a big laugh. Doesn't she mean she followed Dingy Hippie's career and think that he's an amazing doctor. I mean really, what other doctor is there in Salem? Hospital has a big shitty employee named AbiFail and one who barely shows up in Judgy Jenn, a Dingy ass kisser named Maxine, a grimacing bore name Grimace Sue, Theresa has been late over the past couple of days, junkie-druggie-dumbass Brady on the board, and Anne.

 

Don't be going to Salem for medical research might as well just do research with Stefano & Miss Rapey since they have access to just about everything that's medically possible. I bet they can cure Aids and cancer.

I read that when Sonny gets hold of Will, he gets a tongue-lashing and that Adrienne gives Sonny stern advice about his secret. I think that Sonny is over extending himself (hence needing another investor) and the second part of the secret wil be that he is accepting help/working with an ex(Paul).

It seems that Rafe encourages Marlena to bring Will home so Gabi can see Ari. I suppose it could be a ploy to get Rafe to matter,though I also think all is not well in LA with Will. I think if Mar tells him about Gabi, he will jump at the chance to come back to Salem. I think Will's secret will be that he was crap in LA. He will probably be looking for comfort with his husband, but Sonny will be distant and pre-occupied with Paul. I think Will will go back to being insecure and lash out by writing an expose on Paul when he finds out the truth.
