Yeah, something is really 'off' with this all of sudden Lydia wants another baby.  And answer me this Lydia - if you go for IVF, what happens to the embryos you don't use given the strong Christian principles you preach?

I have been wondering the same thing about Lydia.  

Meghan has a few female embryos on ice and yet she is going to go through IVF again-so she can have a boy.

These kinds of announcements are sometimes right and sometimes wrong.   I have a theory that Bravo feeds them stories to test the waters for reaction when they aren't sure about who to bring back.  When we hear it from the women themselves is when we really know for sure.  For Heather, I believe it was mid-December that she acknowledged her split from the show.  Maybe we'll know for sure about the full cast soon.

Andy pretty much told them to stay off social media.  Kelly's out there blabbing but that is about it.  

Lydia, for as much she considered herself to be the driving force behind the questionable Tamra/Vicki make up (because after all it was the most fun LYDIA ever had on the show those couple of hours in Mexico) just wasn't.  The producers and especially Andy wanted the feud to end.  What Lydia didn't count on and tried to beat the drum all season long was Vicki is sage enough to realize she needed to make amends with Shannon.  Lydia screwed up by continually going after Shannon so that leaves Lydia as the odd dog out.  As much as Kelly claims she is cool with Lydia and the rest of the cast despises her, there is no niche for Lydia.  The last person Kelly wants to hang with sanctimonious Lydia.  Lydia also alienated Meghan who always has a place on the show be it as a friend or full time.  

Heather announced near the end of January she would not return http://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/heather-dubrow-confirms-leaving-real-housewives-of-orange-county.   I believe that is why they brought Peggy on.  I don't think they needed her until Heather stepped away.  Peggy's intro seemed kind of after the fact.  

We probably won't hear until late next spring if there is a truly new RHOC.  Producers pretty much want to shoot the season before they confer the title on someone.  An old timer returning usually puts it out there because they are seen filming.  After the specualtion last season I expected to see a lot more of Gretchen than one appearance.

Just a guess but I don;t think they do much of anything until after the holidays.  Anymore these shows are pretty much shot in under four months.  OC has been taking a break between the big trip and the finale.

Do we know if Heather left because of all the war fare or did Bravo just not ask her back because she refused to share? Personally I think Heather, Vicki, Shannon, Kelly, Tamra with a real (and rich) friend of theirs would be a strong cast if tptb insist on keeping Vicki.  I like Megan but she just isn't a fit and doesn't even live there. How about the BHHW with the hunky ex pro husband who had a house around the OC she'd be good too.

While I like appearances of ex OC wives, please Bravo, no more low rent OC re-treads!

Yes, always interesting to think about how a pro life couple deals with unused embryos. They can pay for storage but if they stop paying do they just let the "product" be used for research, sold, donated or destroyed. My bet is out of sight, out of mind and they are destroyed. If the couple divorces or one or both die that creates a whole other problem. I wonder how many really think it through.

Yes, they can spin the sperm. The X chromosome is supposedly heavier, though spinning does not 100% guarantee the desired sex. I believe that’s what happened with Theresa G’s fourth- they went to a fertility specialist for a boy, ended up with a girl.
