Of course it doesn't, but it sends very mixed signals, plus it is downright rude to invade a stranger's personal space and make him give up his only bed, in a couple days time he will really resent her. If she had wanted to make him respect her, she would have told him she would be staying at a hotel and they could meet up in the morning in the city.

I do agree she's stupid.  But remember, she thinks she "knows" him.  All these people think they know the person before they go over.  They "trust" them.  Sometimes they even "love them."  So why would they not stay in their homes?  

I'm not stupid, but I did this a couple of times in my 30s, way back when, before Skype was invented.  After hours and hours of online chat and telephone calls, where people always say the right things, it's very easy to believe the grass is greener.  And then you find out there is no grass.

I agree with this because other people may take a lead from Courtney and try this and it might not be safe.  I personally would like TLC to break the third wall (or is it fourth?  Whatever) sometimes like on teen mom in some situations as they should be outright asking Courtney if she feels this is safe.  It would be nice if TLC put some public service notices before the commercials or something because while the Courtney situation may be faked, if you take at face value it is very dangerous.  Sleeping in an apartment with someone you basically just met?

The others at least had some real communication.

Read in that FB group that Cortney was high or drunk the entire time of filming. It's a setup because Sharp needed another couple. I think she has since removed the post because it would violate their non-disclosure, but I saw it with my own eyes. Explains a whole lot, doesn't it?

Oh no!!!  One of my favorite participants on another board has Cornholio as her screen name, and she is a lovely person (inside and out).  She told me that every time she tried to come up with a screen name, she got back a "That name is already in use" message.  In desperation, she tried Cornholio . . . and is now stuck with it because  no one else wanted it.

I have a male Italian friend.  He is a player like Antonio.  I admitted my love for this show and asked him about it.

My hubby and I were watching together and during one of the Antonio/Courtney segments, he said "Antonio is starting to grow on me." I was like, "me too!" He's an average dude! I personally think he looks better with his glasses on. Those "porn" pictures of him were not porn-y at all. I've seen less on dudes at the gym. 

Court annoyed  us before she even left for her trip and her holier-than-thou attitude is so... ew. She is so emotionally clingy but so physically distant. Pick one or the other, crazy.

Hmmm... I am not sure what Cortney thinks might be charming behavior in a lady.... has she seen the movie How to lose a guy in 10 days ....more like 2 days .... We only see like 2 minutes of their interactions, and this is all probably scripted, but all that we see is Cortney continually attacking Antonio, at the very best, she is coldly nagging him with the possessiveness of a wife of 15 years and not as if they had just met and are on their first romantic dinner. The way she asked him if he does porn, then whipped out her phone to prove him a "liar" with that smug smile, and how dare he have these photos on the internet for the whole world to see, as if they hadnt just met each other lol. It looks like the show is trying to paint Antonio into an antagonist, when really he is just a regular single guy from Spain, where his flirtatious behavior may be the norm. He even told her, if she is not happy, she is free to leave. Yet she doesnt. Even when she was angry because he looked at a waitress who was bending over right near them, I had originally thought that when Cortney said "You can pick up the check from your boo" that she was going to stalk out the restaurant and call it a trip, but no, she had simply stalked off to go to the restroom. I really hope that all of this was just acting. I have a feelig that Antonio is not acting though.
