It's kind of hilarious to see so many characters hating on Piscatella as much as the audience, especially the SWAT team and the Max security officer.

Nice to see Fig again.

Damnit Judy, you just don't know when to shut up, do you?

Damn, Pornstache grew a beard! I am surprised that Daya told Delia that she can have her baby, especially since they still don't know that the baby is actually Bennett's. And Daya even turned herself in at the end, which is not so surprising. Part of me did think that someone else would take the fall, but I think the moment Judy went on camera, it had to have been Daya.

I feel bad for Pennsatucky. Those meth heads and Nazis are the ones I hate the most, so it's not hard to gain sympathy for their victims. I know Pennsatucky did the stupidest thing with the guard and I'm not happy that Coates caused all of this and that she had to fall for a creep like him, but she doesn't deserve the persecution that she's getting. It is nice to see Boo get a girlfriend, though. Linda's going to have a nightmare of a time when Boo finds out about Caputo, though.

Damn, I don't know why Black Cindy trusted that Ouija and her group of girls would just do what she said. Not that Suzanne is easy to deal with, but Black Cindy should have figured that out.

I love Red and Nicky's friendship, and having her there for Red as she comes off her drug high is very sweet.

Gloria is by far my favourite character, so I hope all works out for her and that she doesn't crack under the pressure. I really felt for her in her scene with Caputo, and I do love that she gave Daya some tough love, more than Aleida's ever given her.

Was that Piscatella who got into the prison at the end? I guess I'll find out when I start the next episode.

If it were to somehow get out that Maureen blew air bubbles into Hump's IV and that's what caused his stroke, that might lighten Daya's sentence. But probably not.

probably not. Daya still shot him (and i got really tired of her trying to pin it off everyone but owning her poop).
I am really surprised no one has dealt with LeeAnne and Angie. Like seriously.

Omg, Figueroa!!

I'm glad Daya owned what she did, although, tbh, Hump deserved everything that is happening to him. Speaking of which, it's almost hilarious in a very, very dark way. I mean, he's shot, Maureen gives her a stroke via air bubble, Red slices off one of his fingerprints -if this keeps going on he'll end up in pieces by the end of the riot.

I love Red. Always have, always will.

I'm surprised the inmates aren't more afraid of Suzanne... I don't mean Taystee and her group, I mean people like the Latinas who tied her to the bed. They must know she can be very dangerous if she freaks out, but they keep treating her like shit.

One thing I always respected about Pornstache, awful as he was: his love for Daya was absolutely real. Loved to see him again. I think he'll be a good dad.

This was my favorite episode so far this season.

I liked seeing the role reversal with Nicky taking care of Red as she came down from her high. I smiled when Blanca called her Rojita, "little red."

I'm glad that Gloria gave Daya the tough love she needed. I feel for her and the situation with Benny. And I'm also glad that Daya turned herself in. Aleida is a piece of work.

I can't stand Leanne or Angie, so, I cheered when Tucky nailed Angie. They are scum.

Taystee continues to be fab (+1 on Shut Up, Black Cindy).

I loved seeing Fig return. I love to hate her.

I too loved the role reversal with Nicky and Red. I really like Nicky when she's sober.

Note to Red: I know you don't have much experience with this, but once you start snorting something to make it work faster, chances are you have a problem

I've been loving the Red/Blanca team. Anyone else get a coyote/road runner vibe from them, though?

I half expected Vause to take the blame-- as she's feeling guilty about killing that hitman and letting Lori Petty take the fall for it.

I had to look her up because they even sounds the same:

I love their use of family to help the stories - first Laverne Cox's twin brother to play pre-transition and now Dacha Polanco's daughter to play her younger self.

Also, I OBVIOUSLY knew it was pornstache as Mama Steenburgen was on the phone, but without his titular pornstache he was much more sympathetic just by appearing so different (and, while being clean shaven would have served the purpose of looking DIFFERENT, Pablo Schreiber will always and forever ultimately be the INSANELY creepy, sadistic, evil (insert adjective of depravity here) William Lewis from L&O:SVU to me, so... masking the face is a better bet towards making him even momentarily and partially sympathetic).

Wait. They don't know specifically that it's Bennett's, but they know it's not Pornstache's, right? I swear Daya told Delia and Delia later told Pornstache. I mean, Pornstache seems totally delusional about this situation, but really...who else would be the father? He had to have known it would be a CO.

I am still so over the meth heads. The locked-up guards plot is lame and is going nowhere.

If they keep throwing people in the port-a-potties they aren't going to have anywhere to go.

Why on earth would prison administration entertain anything Gloria has to say? Like she's going to say "I talked to Caputo through the port-a-potty and he said you'd grant me furlough in the middle of this prison riot!"

So, would you pull the lever?

Ah, right, I totally forgot about this tidbit of information. Both are told that he's not the father, but Pornstache is still deluded into thinking that it's his baby, hence why he's calling the baby his this episode. Wow, I totally forgot about this until you mentioned it.

Of course he did, now that he's doubling as a leprechaun on American Gods. Where he's great, BTW,

Great casting of Daya's daughter with the actress' real daughter! At first i thought..how did they get Daya to look so young? But she was way too young for that to be possible.

The food situation is going to be dire very shortly. I hope this is all resolved soon. I'm even feeling sorry for the idiot guards at this point.

I didn't remember all of the ins and outs of Daya's baby situation either. But Pornstash (can we even call him that now?) seems quite invested in this baby..though watching a grown man call his mother, "mommy," is disturbing. Maybe he will be a good father; certainly Daya's baby will escape her certain fate as a member of Daya's dysfunctional family, where she would never have a decent chance.

Nice work! She did look so much like Daya, I guess that's why!

Damn - I actually thought it was the same actress!

Ironically, Leanne and Angie are doing to Tiffany what Tiffany did to Piper back in Season 1 - harassing her to the point of violence. Karma's a bitch.

I thought it was the same actress, and thought, "DAYUM but that wig really makes her look like a teen somehow!"  Then she stood up and I went, "Wait.  No wardrobe makes you 60 lbs. lighter.   That's just amazing that they found a young girl that similar to Polancko!"

I never liked Daya but she did a good thing this episode.  Sure, she's still pulling one over on them about who the real father is, but they really want the child and the greater good is that this girl will have a good life and a future.

Which brings me to the meth heads and the neo-Nazis.  I like some characters on the show, and dislike others, but all of them have some sort of depth and you can understand why they do what they do.  Except these two groups.  They're cartoons, just empty-headed dolts who need to be smacked.  Leanne especially needs to STFU and Angie is a freak.  I hope they get sent to max at the end of the season.

I don't think that's a given. She's asking the same woman who raised Pornstache to raise her kid - and look how he turned out. She's convinced her daughter will be better off because that lady has money but if her kid grows up to be just as screwed up as Pornstache is, I feel sorry for her. Not to mention that Pornstache himself will be in the child's life.

When Daya told Pornstache's mom to let her daughter make mistakes, I got what she was saying in theory but I was also like uhhh, you want the woman who raised Pornstache to become the piece of shit that he became (harassing and abusing prisoners and now whining, "MOMMY!" in the background) to raise your child? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that she's been letting him make mistakes all his life. On top of that, you know Pornstache will be around which will not help things. I understand that Daya wants to get her kid out of foster care, which I support, and she is realizing that she should do the exact opposite of whatever Aleida says, which I also support, but damn.

Gloria giving her all that tough love is something she has needed for a while (as opposed to Aleida's delusional and ridiculous advice). Yes, Daya was under a lot of pressure and she didn't know what to do but ultimately no one made her shoot him and it's about time that she admitted it was her fault.

I couldn't believe how much young Daya looked like Daya, so it's not at all surprising that it's really Dascha's daughter. Initially when I just saw her face, I thought it was Dascha in a wig.

One of the most enjoyable things about this episode was seeing that the SWAT team and others have absolutely no respect for Piscatella either.

Damn, Black Cindy - stop talking!

Daya is dumb, and the flashback didn't change my mind. It's not like I don't like the scenes or the actor, but Daya is just dumb. However, I do agree with the mother. If Humps can't communicate, then just say he threatened you with it before, and then you just snapped. She really picked the wrong time to rebel against the mother. Which is why she's dumb.

The whole Home Alone plot was killing me though.

I did like how Taystee was prepared with Fig about the budgets.

I couldn't believe that Dascha is old enough to have a daughter play her as a teen.  Dascha looks young for her age.

I agree that she should come up with some defense on the shooting.  Otherwise, she will be in max prison for a long time.  She will be blamed for putting Humps in the position to have a stroke, espcially if they never find out Maureen did it.
