Neither did I. They never focused on little kids programming before and like you said most parents' aren't going to pay for HBO. It was really stupid.

Not so much. I can see them wanting to have something for everyone. Not a lot, but some programs that are suitable for children.

NBC has just axed Found , The Irrational Lopez vs Lopez, Night Court  and Suits LA

I disliked Found, Night Court reboot, and Irrational.  Disliked original Suits, so never watched reboot.  Never watched Lopez v. Lopez.  It's all good with me.  Sorry for anyone who likes these.

I caught a few episodes of the Night Court reboot in the beginning but couldn’t get in to it like the original.  I never watched any of the other shows so no loss for me.  I’m happy Law and Order got renewed.

Same, I didn't like many of the characters and there was something weird about Rauch's delivery that was off putting to me.

I tried it in the beginning too because I loved the original so much and a lot of John Larroquette shows and movies. But it wasn't any good and it wasn't funny.

I watched Found and slowly started to hate watch it because it was so stupid.

So I see they are canceling RHONY!!!  (but maybe to reboot later).  No surprise there either.

Speaking of hate watching v. no watching, I had to give up RHONY, which was my gateway drug to Housewives 15 years ago, and the only one I kept watching.  RHONY became unwatchable for me last season.  I think the HW idea is played out.

Andy said the Page 6 article was wrong. The show isn't cancelled....yet.

I did watch a bit of this show when it first started, but couldn't stick with it. I think the issue was too many characters I didn't like versus the ones that I did. Maybe I'll give it another chance?

Give it a try.  It's really astounding.  The characters you think you don't like are just people with problems.  You care about them.

Agreed!  Will Trent is so much fun. It has great writing, nice humor, character growth, excellent acting --- believe me, there is one character you dislike in S1 who now everybody seems to really like and root for  in S3 and whose growth has been so very well done -- and then there are the guest stars.  A show like Poker Face (rightly) gets a lot of love for its' guest stars, but Will Trent is right up there.  They aren't big names at all, bu they make so much of the material they get.  There have been a couple of times the show has casted young actors to be younger versions of the current cast and the younger actors are spot on... really incredibly so.

And Amanda's fashion alone is worth it! She is so fly!

Don't watch if you have read the books. Will Trent is my favourite book series but every time I see the show mentioned I get agitated and annoyed. I hate when someone does a movie or tv show based off a book but it's nothing like the book.

Amanda and Faith both always look fabulous. Really, there is something about the wardrobe on that show that just really works. It's not flashy, but it's perfect.

Also, Betty is a star.

I believe y'all, but I went back to read my comments on the little bit that I did watch, and I thought it was too much of a downer then as well. Hopefully, that's fixed? People with problems is fine (depends...), but I need some highs to balance out lows.

And I think I did notice the clothes then, too. But good fashion does not a good drama make -- looking at you, Our Kind of People.

Maybe I can catch some recent episodes and see what I think. Thanks for the recommendation y'all!

That's tricky lol. Honestly, it unfortunately had a lot of downer stuff this latest season. There were some great highlights but I don't know that it was really a good balance. I've had a problem with how much tragedy and misery they piled on tbh. So honestly yea it might not be for you.

It's such a hard question to answer because it depends on what people consider downers and what their tolerance level is.

For instance, I wasn't upset about how and why the main couple broke up, but others might be.  It has enough light heartedness and quirkiness that I don't feel like it's torture porn.  But there's also the fear that nothing really goes well for long.
