I think she's just enjoying life and has posted taking dance classes.

I'm watching season 13 and I think I forgot how much Dayton looks like her mom. Dayton is beautiful and she really looked perfect in that DCC uniform. I'm happy to see that she is still dancing and seems to be happy.

I just accidentally hit the "paste" command on the keyboard while editing another post on here and was presented with the "like/love/neutral" post the board ate earlier so here it is:

Love: Bridget

Like: too many to mention

Neutral: Maddie

Not a Fan: Can't find anyone I don't like "something" about

Recent retirees missing the most: Lacey, Kash

TCCs I'm hoping make the team: Victoria

accidental duplicate post.  Is this board possessed tonight????

The cheerleader poms in the cowboys store are not like the ones the cheerleaders use. They are small....short...not ‘fluffy’ and are definitely for kids.( they don’t cover an adult hand) I bought them.......also instead of the boots🙄😁

( mine were 12.99 each when I bought them)

they are very pretty but disappointing, even though I figured they wouldn’t be like what the cheerleaders use, I thought they might be somewhat close.  I actually ended up returning them. A sad day for my inner DCC.....😂😂

I’m not which topic I’m supposed to post this link on, so if this is the wrong place, please point me to the topic I’m allowed to share this ⬇️

Also, I’m not sure if this has already been posted bc when I’ve searched to see if it has already been posted, I cannot find it.

While I was digging around for pics of Jenn K’s weight gain I stumbled upon this video of the unedited 1996 finals: https://www.texasarchive.org/library/index.php/2013_04792

What I found most interesting was that a lot of these women were much heavier than the ladies who try out nowadays.

Check out the poms on Omni Cheer! They carry the Chasse brand. You can get the silver Training Camp poms and they also have two-color versions that are very close to the cheerleader poms (which I expect are custom).

Ugh I don't know how I'm gonna properly keep up with this season since I can't be here when the episode originally airs (prior commitment).  All these posts are running together....

😥

Same here... from Europe so can only find the episodes after a few days. This is getting very confusing with 3 threads all mentioning episode details

This week started UIL High School Volleyball. The week reminds me of DCC camp. My daughter had three long days of team volleyball camp. Tears and heartache due to fears of being cut. Followed by two full days of try outs. At least they were told quickly if they made a team.  Wish the DCC would do the same for their candidates.

Kelli herself would’ve been too big, Judy maybe too soft bc hard toned wasn’t the dancers goal then and don’t even need to address Kitty.

Oh boy...Amy's flub in Fat Bottomed Girls has nothing on the Eagles cheerleaders!

Christ on a bike, this is BAD! They're out of time with each other, all giving different amounts of energy, some look like they'd rather be anywhere else, clearly they don't have any weight restrictions on their squad as many look out of shape. That's before the two stars at the front mess up! We thought the DCC choreo was flat sometimes but this was a total snoozefest.

Did you see the HUGE flub at about 3:36 where the blonde in front doesn't realize she should have turned around & quickly does after she glances over at the others?

If they want the publicity of having a 52 year old CPA on the squad I swear I will audition next year!

Can I just say how much I appreciate this board over the DCC Facebook page? I've given up on reading that page. The comments from some of the male fans are just awful! I don't see how TPTB can stand to let some of that stuff slide! *shudder*

You must be on the page with no active moderator.  The other one is over-moderated, which is nice in some ways, especially when it comes to those comments you mention.

Was just cruising around the internet looking for Thunderstruck videos and found one on Facebook.  Took this screen shot (not sure what the timestamp is).  Is it me or is there a huge @$$ hole in the formation where I've drawn the square??

Untitled.png

It's probably this type of formation and the photographer is looking from this angle.

Thanks for your drawing :-).  Yeah probably ....it looks really bad though!  Did you watch the video I linked to? I might need to clean my glasses again lol.  Goodnight!

Yes, it looks fine to me...it's just the angle.  If you looked at it from a higher point of view, you'd be able to see a pattern like I posted.

ETA: here it is with 36... when he pans to the left, you see 2 people that look like they are misplaced, but they are in formation,

Hi. If you saw where I posted this, I was referring to the Stars auditions where someone above mentioned a vet being cut, named Kennedye. I understand there are no spoilers, as I was not referring to DCC.

oh cool - as soon as I saw this, I stopped reading 🙂 Didn't want my experience of the new series spoilt 🙂

Thanks for pointing out my error 😎💃

I have been watching past season but not all of them. I am curious does anyone know if Kelli's daughter Samantha has ever tried out or will? Just seeing some new legacies has me wondering.

Oh that was something to see ....that chick in the black and white leotard at the very beginning...I just want to "bless her heart" right off the floor.  😛

That was fascinating!  Not just the outfits and the hair and the bad dancing, either!  What killed me was the disinterested girls in the chairs - legs up under them, chewing gum?, totally bored!  And the ones trying out couldn't even stand right.  In the pre-kick line, the brunettes had 5 diff girls with 5 diff foot positions!  And they all got tired and heavy breathed even on the easier stuff.  We've come a long way, baby!

I think many posters may have missed how the Small Talk topic is supposed to work, so here's a refresher:

The Small Talk topic is for:

  • Introductions
  • Off-topic chatter
  • Having virtual tea with forum buddies

This is NOT a topic for actual show discussion. When you want to talk about the show:

  • Figure out the nature of the topic you want to talk about
  • Look for an existing topic that matches or fits

Examples of topics that populate show forums include (but by no means are limited to):

  • Contestant topics
  • Spoiler topics
  • Past season topics
  • Speculation topics
  • In the Media topics
  • Favorite X topics

...you get the idea

Happy trails beyond Small Talk!

Ohhhhhhhh! What breed?! Boy or girl? Any names picked out yet?!?

PS I kinda like dogs. More than people sometimes. 🐶❤️🐶

I decided on a miniature poodle for several reasons.   I show in obedience, barn hunt, do a tiny bit of agility (tiny bit) and my havanese isn't really fond of strangers.  Judges have to touch dogs, and she really does not enjoy this.  Poodles have lots of drive and generally enjoy people.  I have had very big dogs (borzoi and german shepherd) and loved moving to a toy dog.  Loading and unloading that huge crate is no fun at shows.  So I didn't want anything too big, although I love sighthounds.  Plus I can do dock diving with a poodle.  Dogs are great fun.  Plus most of the time they are more fun than people!  She will be silver in color.

Hi I’m looking for some industry advice! There is a sports team in my city in Texas (not Dallas) that is considering adding a dance team. It’s a pro development league so i believe similar to Texas legends, Allen Americans, Dallas sidekicks, etc type of level. Does anyone know how much dancers on these types of teams usually make? And/or how much the dance director/coach would typically make? I’m anticipating potential budget questions from the front office. I know it’s quite low for major league dancers like DCC so I’m wondering if it’s similar or even substantially lower for minor league teams.
